It was my fourth time staying in this hotel. I like the compact rooms with a nice bathroom and a balcony. I had a room at the fourth sides of the building and my least favoruite is the back (as it overlooks the trainstation and the interstate) Try to avoid those rooms, although the noise cancelling is very good. There is a big public bath on the 12th floor. I also recommend the bakery annex the lobby for some quality bread. I also had breakfast and it ris really lovely with fresh products. You can choose a Japanese or western breakfast (or just combine). Kudos to the staff and I always feel very welcome. Location is top: The hotel is just a street away from the National Stadium. There are two train stations nearby: Kokuritsu-Kyogijo Station on the Toei-Oedo Line and the JR Sendagaya Station on the Chuo Line. Both Roppongi and Shinjuku are 10 minutes away by train. The neighbourhood is very quiet (unless there is a soccer game or a gymnastic concourse). The Meiji Shrine is a 10 minute walk away.

Location is great, in the green and quiet area, yet close to metro and JR. Very clean and green around. The hotel is new, everything was in great condition. The room is small but we fit in there. Lots of toiletries provided and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The lobby is beautiful and the room too!

I wish there was a better light in the bathroom, I was struggling with putting the makeup on. Thought dark walls look very stylish.

I recently stayed at Mitsui garden hotel and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The hotel's design was simple yet tasteful, making it very comfortable to stay in. The location was perfect for me as I enjoy taking walks in the beautiful green surrounding, plus it was only a short 20-minute walk to Shibuya. The laundry room came in handy during my stay. The staff was also a highlight, always willing to help with a smile and make sure I had everything I needed. But my favorite part of the hotel was the hot public bath, which was the perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring the city. And, of course, I can't forget to mention the incredible view from the rooftop - a must-see! Overall, I highly recommend Mitsui garden hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Tokyo.

The hotel was nice, the room was nicely modern but a little small for ourselves and our big suitcases. The bathroom was a grand size and they did change the sheets and towels daily. There was a pool that we didn't use while there but the elevator had a little indicator to tell you how many people were using the pool which was pretty cool. We mainly booked this spot for the location, but it wasn't as close as I had hoped; it wasn't far and there was a train across the road and another line a 5 minute walk away, but it took just as long to get where I needed to go from the other places I had been staying. The staff were really helpful and even stored our bags 3 days ahead of our stay so that was very accommodating of them and I appreciated that a lot! If you like a reliable big name hotel experience this is a good choice.

This was the last of my eight stays in Japan and it was fine! But compared to my other stays, this hotel felt very Americanised and almost...corporate? It definitely felt like a big chain hotel which is totally fine but if you're looking for anything a little more authentically Japanese I think you could look elsewhere. It felt very anonymous and busy, and it was a lot bigger than any other spots we had stayed in Tokyo. The room was also small and it was equally distant from other spots we had stayed in to get to the likes of Shibuya, etc. So worth a stay if you want a classic hotel experience, but if you prefer to try a smaller boutique style hotel then look elsewhere.

The hotel is located near the metro station, it is opposite it. There is another station 10 minutes or less away, which makes moving around the city convenient. The location is wonderful! The pool in the photo is actually a traditional Japanese onsen, and yes, you need to swim naked there. on the 2nd floor you can use the laundry and vending machines (there is food and drinks), there is also a microwave. Our stay at this hotel was very comfortable.

April 2023

We loved the rooms and location. We had to reserve 2 rooms because there was 4 of us (2 adults, 2 teens). For 2 ppl, the rooms are sufficient in size and comfortable. The view from the 11th floor was great. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for us- sitting between Shibuya and Shinjuku. We were able to walk (about 25min) to Harajuku. Easy access to the subway but away from the hustle/bustle of downtown. I would definitely stay here again.

I am a VERY light sleeper. Our rooms were originally on the 5th floor overlooking the train tracks- this made it a little difficult for me to sleep. However, this did not affect my kids or my wife. They all slept very well. I asked to have our room moved to a higher floor- which they accommodated. I would say this is very specific to light sleepers like myself. After the room was moved, I slept very well.

A very new and comfortable hotel, in a quiet area of Tokyo which was developed for the 2020 Olympics. Very well connected with a couple of subway and train stations. Very nice bedrooms with all you need.

We were a bit disappointed with the restaurant, two reasons in particular - 1) with so much to offer why not having a Japanese restaurant? 2) closes at 9pm and after that you have no other options unless you take the train to another area of the city - there's no room service or anything as such either

Great location with very friendly and helpful staff. They helped us take care of shipping our luggage to Kyoto for our next destination (takkyubin service—highly recommend) so we could travel to our destinations without the hassle of having to carry it around. Rooms were clean and the public bath was a great way to relax from the long days of walking Tokyo.

It's a very new hotel. It's conveniently located right next to a subway station and about 5 min walk away from 2 different JR train stations. The area is about 20-30 min walk away from Shibuya, Shinjuku and Harajuku, yet it's very green and quite. The rooms are on the small side, but they are beautifully designed. The bed and the pillows are really comfortable. The bathroom with the nice and deep bathtub is amazing. The bathhouse is also very nice (bring a towel and pajamas from your room). Washing machines (with dryers), microwaves, an ice machine and three vending machines for drinks and snacks on the 2nd floor. The gym is a bit basic but it's okay. There are a couple of restaurants and convenient stores within 10 min walk. The national garden is very close by. The hotel employees are very nice and helpful.

The only thing that could have made our stay better if the room was a bit bigger.
