Shibuya Stream Excel Hotel Tokyu

Location was fantastic, easy to find & adjacent to train station. Rooms were good size and clean, friendly staff with check-in/out quick and easy. Would definitely stay there again.

If anything probably could do with a few mere clothes washing/drying machines - have only 2 available.which were busy. Not a complaint, just a suggestion.

The rooms were spacious for Tokyo standards and were also very clean. No complaints about the rooms. We had one standard and one superior corner room with city view. We requested the rooms be located near each other and the hotel was able to accommodate. The views were fantastic. We also loved the location. Near the train station, the Shibuya Crossing and all the action but also tucked a little off to the side for some peace and quiet. They had a robot deliver items like toilet paper, tissue etc. which was wonderful. The robot delivery was super quick and efficient much quicker than humans. Beds were very comfortable especially if you like firm beds. Lots of excellent restaurants and shopping in the area.

We don't have much to complain about. Everything met or exceeded our expectations.

Location is simply unbeatable, the room has a nice size for Tokyo standards and everything is new and looks great. I have stayed 5 times in this hotel so you really can't go wrong.

The cleaning of the room wasn't great, I stayed for a week and often found undesirable surprises. For example I found rotten boiled eggs from the convenience store tucked in the back of the mini fridge, hair on the bed and even a dirty towel. things that can easily be corrected. also the breakfast selection is quite dull and gets repetitive extremely fast, I suggested finding breakfast options outside the hotel, there's plenty nearby.

Stayed here in 2019 for Rugby World Cup and decided to stay again in Sep 2023. Deluxe room nice size and great view of city from floor to ceiling windows. Can't beat location. Station at your doorstep. Scamble Sq and Hikarie shopping 2 minute walk. Plus lovely little restaurants. The madness of Shibuya just across the road. Mega Donki, Loft, Seibu, Parco, Miyashita Park (very cool). And you can be back in your quiet room within minutes. And then throw yourself back into the madness. Cool robot to order snacks as well. Like how beds faced window so you could lie there and look out at all the lights and sunsets and sunrises. Shower good. Clean. Bed so comfy.

Pricey, but given the fantastic location, and incredible views from our room, it was worth it. In spite of the location it was very quiet, and because it was the end of our stay and we took advantage of the laundry facilities, and had a fairly relaxing stay, in spite of the hectic Shibuya location! We also took advantage of several of the fantastic dining options nearby. The bath was fantastic!

Breakfast seemed expensive, and the hotel restaurant seemed a bit less appealing than the many other options nearby (which were excellent). It would be great to be able to refill your own coffee pods, as that was really the only reason we wanted our rooms cleaned on some days.

we stayed as a family in Shibuya Stream Excel!! organized floors and comfortable rooms! staff were extremely polite and courteous 👍 One of us were unable to join for the breakfast - but the staff packed the lunch box for us to carry back to the room! and, Relay Robot serving us dinner was fantabulous and cute! 😀 also, staff booked the taxi for us many times and accompanied us until we were settled in the vehicle! great job, team!!!

self-serve laundry service could be improved - well, most of the issues are from guests who forget to collect their laundry 😀

The greatest part of our stay in the hotel was the location, it is extremely convenient to reach the train station from the hotel and it takes about 5-10 min. In addition, you have a lot of restaurants near the hotel and it is in a close walking distance to Shibuya crossing, so it was easy to get by. Regarding the room, it was relatively big for Japan (especially for Tokyo) and very comfortable. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel, although it is a bit expensive relatively to other hotels we booked during our trip to Tokyo.

Nothing in particular, overall we had a great stay. It is just a bit expensive and upon arrival it was hard to locate the hotel (it is within an office building).

The room is comfortable, although somewhat small which can be expected in a big city. The bathroom facilities were splendid and the room is very clean. The hotel also has washing machines and dryers for use by guests which was exceedingly helpful. The staff were exceptionally helpful. The highlight of the hotel is its amazing position in the heart of Shibuya Scramble. The complex has several restaurants and beautiful shops, food halls and supermarket. The hotel is above the train station which added to the overall convenience and appeal.

The room was somewhat small, but more than compensated by its position, the quality of service and the facilities within the hotel

The location was perfect! Near Shibuya crossing, above the train station, in a complex full of wonderful restaurants and coffee shops, not to mention the cool neon Google steps :) We could see the giant monitor above Shibuya Crossing in the distance from our hotel room. We had the breakfast buffet at the hotel every morning and it was wonderful. Minutes by train to the rest of Tokyo, or walking around the city, if you desire an urban “middle of it all” location this is it! Don’t forget to order the robot room service :)

Location is perfect, across a covered walkway to a nice mall. Only 7 minutes walk from the famous Hachiko statue and the Scramble crossing. Tokyu Food Show (to be distinguished from other Food Show food halls) was the most incredible food hall we have ever seen. Dean and Deluca downstairs does great coffee. The hotel has a laundry floor if you want to wash / iron/ dry clothes. Limited facilities (for example, small gym) but nothing we were wanting for. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. The bathroom is also well thought out - shower, toilet and sink are all separate so there is no waiting for your room mate/partner.
