Paradise Resort Club and Spa

The location was excellent. Right at the heart of the Canmore city centre with all shops and restaurants accessible within walking distance. The rooms were very clean and well kept. The bonus is having the washing machine and dryer along with detergents in the room itself. Ours was a 1 bedroom suite with kitchen, balcony and living. It's located in a safe and clean neighbourhood. The covered basement car park was great. The reception was very helpful in giving all information and guidance. Banff was a quick drive away and we would really recommend anyone planning Banff to park up in Canmore.

The property is linked with three other resorts which apparently is their own but that was confusing. It would be great for simplicity if it is all merged as one. Not that it is an issue but initially it was difficult to find the lobby for the one that we had booked particularly.

Location close to town and snowshoe rentals. Comfortable beds. Indoor pool. Laundry in the room was great. Fridge was a good size. Nice bathrooms. Robes provided were nice.

Complex checkin procedures. Assigned indoor parking spot was taken. Reported this to the staff and got a second spot, but it was also occupied. Third spot could not be found. 4th spot was finally available. Poor over the sink lighting. One of pool change room had wet floor but the other did not. No change table in the pool change room. Pool was very loud.

Living spaces were generous and roomy. The kitchen was well equipped. The unit was very clean and well supplied. The accommodations are in a very good location--easy access to a main road and the nearby highway.

The wood furniture and cabinetry had a lot of "dings" and could use a touch-up or updating. When we were there, the elevator that served our unit was out of order. The front desk directed us to use it, which seemed ironic. It would also be helpful if the front desk explained how to access the unit from street level (without having to go into the underground garage).

This hotel is really well located. It is less than 10 minutes walk to the Bow river and downtown Canmore. There is a pool and waterslide for kids. The unit we were in had 2 rooms, 2 bathrooms, a full equipped kitchen and washer/ dryer. Although we enjoyed our stay for the localisation and our unit, I didn't appreciate the not welcoming person at the front desk who did our check-in. As a tourist, it is normal to ask questions about what are the things to do around the city. The front desk lady was rude, not really helpful and told me to go read on google if I needed any information : "it is all written on google".

Pool, games room, restaurant, front desk staff, free underground parking, discounts at local stores, comfy clean king bed, kitchen, bathroom, toiletries, keyless entry, 2-doors to hallway to decrease noise between condo and hallway, Google Tv in bedroom and livingroom, balcony with bbq, mountain view.

We were on the second floor so we woke up early with co rant loud footsteps from the above suite. It is pricey but competitive.

The location was excellent, the room was clean overall, it had the basics we needed for cooking, it was more updated than expected. The shower in the master bedroom was fantastic.

THE SHEETS!!! My biggest complaint by far was that there was not a proper duvet cover, using sheets on top and below does not work well and I was not comfortable with a duvet that was yellowing and clearly not washed between occupants. We also had other sheets with stains and holes.

Room was fantastic. Great space overall. The kitchen was well stocked (could do with some olive oil or cooking spray) and there were plenty of towels for the kitchen/hot tub. The bed was super comfortable, and the room came with a giant fan which was helpful because both my boyfriend and I run VERY hot at night. The air conditioning didn't work only because of the cold temperatures outside. Great lounging space with a fire place we used every morning while drinking our coffee. Bathroom was also fantastic, shower was great and the bonus was the wall mirror!

The wifi didn't work the whole duration of our stay and the suite/building itself is NOT sound proof. We heard our neighbours and the people staying above us the entire time. The pillows on the bed could do with an upgrade too.

Amenities, staff, friendliness of staff and reception, size of room, pool and overall area, location. Availability of hot tub and games room.

Dishwasher to be managed by customers. Cleaning is done in 3-4 days. Parking is too tight in the basement and it is not easy to find your respective slots.

We came to Canmore to spend the weekend for our Anniversary, and the Paradise Resort Club and Spa did not disappoint. Not only was the staff amazing, the location was incredible: the view we had from our balcony was amazing. The staff also did me a huge favour and kept my computer at the front desk so I wouldn’t have to leave it in the car all day. We will definitely be coming back.

i cannot think of one thing we didn’t like.

I liked how close it was to the Main Street, good indoor and outdoor pool, the suite was clean, front desk staff was helpful.

I originally book for a mountain view suite, which I didn’t have. I checked in quite late around 6:30pm so I could not see outside to check. Although the room was good and tidy, I just hoped it was the right room that I had booked for.
