Austria Classic Hotel Hölle

Lovely air-conditioned room with armchairs and even a sofa. Splendid breakfast. The facility to hire a bike at just 5 euros a day was great. I took one for two days. I enjoyed the excellent number five bus from 200 yards away into the old town along delightfully traffic free roads, taking twenty minutes every quarter of an hour. I have happy memories.

Reception was seldom manned in my experience - I was there from Saturday to Wednesday first thing. The bar staff / waiters had no English at all and the menu was all in German; an English translation would have helped. The welcome pack was a digital one which I failed to engage with. I would have preferred a printed brochure in my room as well. There was no lock for the bike I hired and there seemed no way of getting that sorted. I hid it under a bush in the Catacombs in the old town while sight-seeing, but I felt uncomfortable that it might get stolen. If I go again, I will take a bike lock with me.

Overall the staff is okey with speaking English and willing to help. The house keeper's service was not the best but her attitude is really nice.

1. Room is not fully clean. Dust on the platform. 2. We had the room in the corner at the end of the hallway and it's quit small 3. During check in, the front desk could't find our reservation and kinda lost patient on us. But... this wasn't our fault as I understand because we had the confirmation from booking.com. 4. You have to rent a car or call taxi if you stay here cause it's a little bit far from the town

Lovely welcome. Good, clean, standard room. Excellent breakfast. Easy transport link into town on no5 bus. Restaurant food was good and not too expensive. Very helpful staff. Easy parking. Surprising peaceful cemetery behind, which is interesting to walk through. Consider Salzburg Card if staying 1-2days

You have to travel into town (but we actually enjoyed this!) It is beside a busy road. Our room was to the side, so the noise didn't bother us, even with the windows open.

The location was extremely convenient. The bus stop to go in the centre of Salzburg was just 3 minutes from the hotel. But it was also very conveniently positioned to drive to Hellbrunn, Leopoldskron, and the lake district. At the same time it was in a very quiet location, with a feel of countryside. in the evening we ate in the outdoor restaurant which was very pretty and the traditional Austrian was delicious. Breakfast was also very good with a very wide selection, including, cold meat, smoked salmon, cheeses as well as everything you can think of for your cereals, nuts, fruit and yogurt. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Room was nice, cozy, in line with the rustic vibe of the hotel. Bathroom was spacious. The hotel itself is a nice building at the end of a closed road, so pretty little noise. Hotel's Restaurant served a number of classic austrian dishes - well prepared, very tasty. Staff was friendly and professional.

Extras were a bit expensive - water at 5eu from the room fridge?

We had a great time. The room was bigger and more comfortable than expected, very lovely and clean. The staff is truly amazing, and the food was top-notch. We loved the restaurant, the atmosphere was very relaxing and quiet. Would one hundred per cent stay there again.

I'm sensitive to light when i sleep, blackout curtains would take the room to the next level for me.

It is an energy-efficient hotel, and was fairly close to town. At least it was on a bus line. We took in a concert that featured Mozart’s music. Leaving the concert we did experience difficulty getting a bus to return to the hotel. Dinner was good. It appeared they were set up to have a good outdoor patio thing had the weather cooperated.

It was super clean, everyone was super friendly, breakfast was really good and also got to enjoy supper at restaurant and we came by train so it was great that we could take Obus 5 alway to Hotel with just few minutes of walking.

There was not one thing we did not like.

Nice and quit location, easy to get to town with Obus 5 . Very clean and really nice room. Outstanding service and super friendly. Outstanding breakfast. Outstanding Restaurant .
