It. We loved everything. The decor was cosy, interesting and practical. Everything was well thought out but it still felt homely. Breakfast was nice and late and could be eaten outside or in. Their eco policies were wonderful. 10 minute walk from the station. And again to all the main sites and the river. Staff were so helpful. Favourites were all of the furniture, breakfast, garden, bar, dinner, the office space downstairs and bee watching in those wonderful chairs. The spa looked amazing but no time to use it. Can't wait to stay again.

Only staying for 2 days

Everything! It’s a gorgeous property, with a wonderful garden and a great terrace area for drinks/meals. They are also extremely dog friendly. They provided food/water bowls as well as a soft rug for our dog (and treats)! The garden view room was lovely - our dog loved to sit by the Juliet balcony and look outside. And they do serve a brilliant breakfast! The entire staff was quite nice and helpful as well.

They should probably look at using better mattresses. The one we had was too soft. And I think they should mention the bees in the garden (they’re not harmful, just a little annoying)

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. there was a lovely sauna and steam room and Terrace. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The laundry service was excellent and an ironing board was brought up to our room within minutes of asking for one. Excellent Hotel.

The display of the wine lists have not been updated and are all incorrect. The Vienna Chardonnay was advertised on the wine list as being €25 but was in fact €30. we queried this and was told the price had changed by the bar man. it wasn’t the money that mattered as we gave €5 tip but it was the principle of wrong advertising. days afterwards it was still being shown at the side of the bar as being €25.

I can highly recommend this hotel! Everything about this place was amazing, from the staff, welcome drink on arrival, the breakfast buffet and the room. The staff continually offered to help with things such as recommendations for sight seeing, transport etc. They even kept our luggage after check out so we could have a last 2hours in town having lunch before our flight. Their wifi was also top notch and I didnt struggle once! The best part about this particular hotel is that its 10min walk from the vibey "Altstadt" and about 5-7min from hiking trails. Everything is actually about 10min away which is perfect. The hotel itself is in a quite street so no need to worry about evening noise. Bottom line is that there is a reason this place comes so highly recommended. Go see for yourself!

Everything in this hotel has been done with the greatest care and attention. From the superb breakfast (where the owner takes the time to personally talk to every guest) to the excellent sauna, everything has clearly been done with real thought. Everyone who works there greets the guests with friendliness and all went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. It’s short and pleasant walk into the Old Town and, while not a cheap stay is absolutely value for money. A lovely hotel I would highly recommend

Nothing!

The room was bigger than we were expecting and very comfortable. As extras, we had 2 armchairs, a radio, a TV with also foreign channels, a bottle of water with 2 glasses and a very nice garden view. Staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel is in a very convenient position for both the train station and the city centre, since both are easily reachable on foot in 10 minutes.

The only one tiny thing I feel I can make a criticism about is that I could not have a consistent water temperature when I took a shower in the morning (we stayed only 2 days). I think someone else was having a shower in another room and this was messing with the temperature of the water.

absolutely beautiful hotel! the grounds are stunning, quite relaxing ambience. the breakfast was perfect. Unfortunately, I’d didn’t realize until after my last breakfast that they actually cook eggs for you. the staff is very accommodating. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

About the property itself, there is nothing to dislike. I wanted to take a city tour and they encouraged me to take the Panorama City tour as opposed to the hop-on/hop-off. the Panorama tour picks you up at the hotel itself. I don’t believe it was worth the money. we didn’t have the time for another tour, which is too bad. The Panoramic stuffs you into a van so the middle seat passenger is sort of out of luck. Additionally, the driver/tour guide speaks completely in German and then translates to English. By the time English gets going, you’ve usually passed the site. On the Hop on/Hop off, you get the full audio guide in your language of choice with no wasted time.

We loved staying here and as we had exceptional weather we hired 2 E-bikes and rode around Salzburg and the wonderful reception staff at the hotel gave us a map to show us all the sites worth seeing and we managed to see them all. We had a hire car and parking was made available for us which was also very convenient.

Just a small thing but hotels usually at this price point provide body cream in the bathroom. It just would have been nice to have this but the little chocolate on the bed every night was a special touch.

Service and breakfast were fantastic. I loved relaxing in the inner courtyard, next to the hotel's beehives. The hotel is not in the heart of the city, but it's in a short walking distance (10 to 15 mins). Rooms were very clean and stylish.

We stayed there two nights on different weekends, and on the second time our room had a big stain on the ceiling, caused by some water leakage. It did not cause any inconvenience, but for the price of the stay I had expected a room in perfect conditions.

excellent and unique hotel. Staff made a real effort and went that extra mile to make our stay as perfect as possible for our special occasion, which we very much appreciated. I couldn’t fault with any aspect of the hotel, and the roof space and garden were great spots to soak up the sun

On the first morning I found the staff a little slow to offer tea/coffee and choices of hot food options cooked to order, so I had to find a staff member to ask them for a particular dish. But overall the staff were excellent, very attentive, and always willing and happy to help
