Villa Ceconi by Das Grüne Hotel zur Post - 100% BIO

I liked the breakfast options and the fact that they support the local businesses, a lot of healthy options. The employees were very nice, friendly and helpful. Provided useful information and helped us with different situations. It was really nice that the parking spot was offered. This was one of the main criteria why we choose this location.

The rooms look kinda old, and the mini-transparent door to the bathroom is not that nice when traveling with more people. There is no minibar fridge to store a bottle of water. However, was what we needed, a bed to sleep at night and take a shower.

The room was large and clean. Loved the bathroom. Everything was tidy, equipped with kettle, hair dryer, plenty of plugs. The free parking is a big bonus. Across the road is a great bakery/cafe where they made a really good flat white (with a little coaching)!! Ask for: doppel-espresso mit mehr milch ohne schaum.

The double bed was actually two singles put together, and there was a gap (large depression) between the matresses. This made it uncomfortable. Also, the reception is actually at another hotel down the road about 350m. We didn't know about this and were searching for the reception at checkin. Had to call to find out where to go. It's a little bit far out of town -- about 20-30 min walk -- so you need to be aware of that if you're coming for the sights.

Great location to walk or bus into Salzburg with Free Parking. The walk is 20 - 30 mins with shops cafes and restaurants on the way. Large room with TV and a kettle although Tea and coffee were not supplied it was not a problem as a great supermarket nearby to get supplies. It's a separate building to the hotel where reception and breakfast is served but we actually like to eat out and find somewhere different so again this suited us well. Large clean modern bathroom with shower. When we booked in we had decided to stay an extra day and the staff were great and managed to change our booking/swap our room to accommodate us.

Nothing to dislike it all suited us very well.

We loved that we had free parking. The room was huge and very clean.There was a bus stop right in front of the villa and it made it very convenient to get to central area if you dont like walking.Lots of bars,supermarkets and local restaurants around if you wanted to avoid the centre.The staff at the reception was lovely everytime Its not very central I'd sau 15mins walk but we didnt mind at all. In the evening we always walked and we felt super safe.Overall great stay for the price!!

Villa Ceconi is in a great location to explore Salzburg, close to bus stops and within just 10min to the city centre. The room was spacious, clean and had all the facilities you will need for a stay in the city. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating on check in and there is enough parking if you are driving in.

Nothing to note, definitely recommend the place as good value for money when you are in Salzburg.

Exellent location, parking on-site. Authentic old house, really spacious and clean room. Bathroom with floor heating, clean and spacious. The staff was really friendly and wellcoming, helped with information about transport and city and also provided tickets for public transport to buy. The hotel is ECO-CONSCIOUS and the owner has 3 beehives in the back yard of the other hotel (his house) :)

We wish we could have stayed longer

I liked the beautiful authentic austrian XIX century furniture. Also room temperature was excellent. It is usual to find the rooms a bit too much hot and thus was not the case. Also, the parking facility very much appreciated.

Having to pick up the key in a 200 m distance different reception.

The girl at the reception was lovely and explained to us how to get to the center and what there is to do in the area. The hotel itself is far from the center, a 25-minute walk, but there is a bus stop very close and you can reach the center in a few minutes. The room was reasonable but clean.

There is no air conditioning in the rooms, the water flow in the shower is weak and the design of the room is outdated.

That was a nice and large spacious room with balcony. There was also a shop and a bus stop nearby to the house. The city center was just 6 minutes away by bus. the neighborhood was quiet. they were helpful at the reception and there was daily cleaning. the bed was comfortable also. It was a recommended accommodation next time in Salzburg

You could provide tea/coffee sachets in the room. There was a kettle but nothing to make a hot drink with. The shampoo bottles are difficult if like me you struggle with grip. Instructions in the email could also helpfully be provided in English. They were only in German but once we found someone to translate they were good. Could have done with a second extra pillow.
