Excellent place and facility. Nice, helpful people with lots of good advice on what to see and when. Spectacular location. Streets are bustling in this area. Rooms are lovely and the building is superb.

If you are driving here, beware your car's GPS! It may take you down streets that are barely 2 metres wide, so basically nothing other than a smart fortwo would fit. The access by road to the hotel is not easy but it's worth the effort! There is nothing that can be done about this as the property is in the Albaicin....it's just something to be aware of. The parking facility under the Park is quite OK.

the location is a winner!!! seems like an old historical site that was turned into a small Authenticcc hotel. the hotel is very cosy, a pension style with a common room for the guests to relax and have tea. AlBaicin neighborhood is spectacular and its very well connected to the center and the main attractions. the room and the bathroom are very spacious. last but not least, Ingo! the star of the hotel! he gave me a map and drew circles around the main attractions and explained the whole city! he also recommended restaurants that serve vegan and vegetarian food. he went above and beyond to make feel welcome and comfortable.

Beautiful hotel, generous staff, excellent breakfast, and a prime location. Direct buses to all the major sites and just up the street THE lookout spot (San Nicolas) for drinks, food and a night time view of the Alhambra! We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days and would definitely stay here again.

Nothing. We were carless (relied on convenient buses and taxis), but driving a car in the area looked difficult for tourists and parking is paid.

We love everything about this hotel. First of all I don’t know the name of the receptionist who is working there ( the gentilemen with blue eyes) was so sweet, so helpful. He told us about the city, recommend a lot of restaurant who’s we tried and loved it. We definitely go and stay there for him. Secondly the hotel has a parking lot which is very helpful. The room was big, cozy and functional. There are coffee, tea and lemonade always and they let us stay a couple of hours with big big smile. S o I highly recommend and for the centilmen <hi from Selin and Murat>

Loved everything

This is a real authentic family iinn... I thoroughly enjoyed the craftsmanship, the comfort and the personal ambiance. Even the mini bar was stocked with local beer and soda for my enjoyment. They are super helpful.

I loved it that they had parking available and was proud of myself for making it through the narrow streets! If you are a fearful driver then it's best to just plan your touring on foot!

Beautiful boutique hotel in the old town. Original Spanish style. The rooms were an excellent size & so was the bathroom. Family owners were lovely & the breakfast was superb. Try the eggs, they r amazing. Little bus right outside to take u into the city or the Alhambra & back again. Cafes a few mins walk in either direction. Cafe up the hill with views over the Alhambra & a viewing square there also. It was a beautiful stay & we would highly recommend it.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

My daughter and I loved the location of the hotel and its atmosphere, as well as its intimate family nature. Our welcome by Ingo set the tone for our stay. He sat down with us to explain entry points to the Alhambra and also outline for us two spectacular walks, one of which gave us an unobstructed view of the Alhambra. As we were only staying for a few days, Ingo's orientation was invaluable and contributed to a wonderful experience. We both loved the breakfast room and the breakfast. We were able to choose a cooked breakfast, if we wished, although many other options were available. I was impressed that the young woman serving us asked me for how many minutes I'd like my egg boiled!

We were initially shown to a ground level room without windows. My error, I'd guess, when booking. I was disappointed that we were not given a room with a window and view. When I asked Ingo if we could change our room, he was most obliging and moved us to an upper room with a window. Unfortunately, because of other bookings, we had to return to the ground floor room for our final night. In a future booking, I'd make sure I booked an upper room with a view. This is a charming hotel, which I'd recommend to anyone visiting Granada.

This hotel was formerly part of what is still a working monastery next door. An amazing combination of Moorish and Medieval Christian architectural features make this place both fascinating and very special. The staff were wonderful: guiding us to the hotel through the Albaicín and then helping us to park and bring our bags in and then on check-in providing an induction to the area, with annotated map showing how to walk to the important sites, where to eat, and shop, etc. They even gave us a lovely breakfast picnic to take to the Alhambra early the next morning. The Hotel is set in Albaicín - the medieval Moorish quarter, a bohemian hub where crooked, cobbled streets lead to Mirador de San Nicolás for awesome views of the Alhambra. We recommend going there to watch sunset over the Alhambra.

Stay was perfect.

Staying here was the highlight of our trip. We received useful and detailed information from the hosts, the room was perfect, and breakfast was outstanding. This small boutique hotel has an exotic aura reminiscent of Granada's past, while it also made us feel truly at home. We made use of the parking space close by, which was spacious and easy to find.

Loud music during the festivities of the weekend continued during the night, but the hosts could not prevent that.

Hotel Isabel La Real is a charming, beautifully restored historic building in the heart of the Albaicin. We loved the intimate atmosphere with only 10 rooms, the inner courtyard and tea room for a rest and fresh drink after coming in from getting lost in the streets of the neighbourhood. The hosts and staff are very helpful, accommodating, knowledgeable and sincere.

It can be a bit noisy during the day because of the sound transmission from the inner courtyard, if there is activity there, but we could have closed our windows to the courtyard if we wanted to.
