Eurostars Gran Via

The courtesy and professionalism shown to us by the staff was exceptional. We stayed in 3 different places during our visit to Spain and the Eurostars Gran Via staff were by far the most impressive. The hotel has an excellent location - walking distance to a variety of restaurants, shopping spots and monuments. The area is clean and safe and also very picturesque, we loved the view of the street below from our room, as well as the terrace. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Granada. I would certainly stay here again.

Breakfast could have been better, in terms of variety and presentation. Bath robes in the room would have been good, along with bottled water each day, as is common in some establishments.

From the moment I stepped through the door, the reception staff were welcoming, attentive, professional and very helpful. Lovely, comfortable room which was immaculately cleaned each day at times that suited me. Although positioned on a busy road, noise was not a problem and the location was excellent for seeing the sights and exploring the area.

I did not pay for breakfast as part of my package and am glad that I didn't, as I was very underwhelmed and thought it was poor value for money on the one day that I did choose to have it. There were some excellent breakfast venues near by within easy walking distance. The bedrooms have very heavy, solid doors that are prone to slam if not closed carefully. This can be a problem, particularly at night.

Very central location in a beautiful old building, perfectly decorated. The staff were very welcoming, professional and friendly, everything with smile. The room as the bed were very comfortable. Perfect wifi and great breakfast. We will be back..

Maybe add instructions for the on the inside of the safe as that was the only issue I had and needed help from reception (which came immediately).

Very good location. Close to the Cathedral where we can find good restaurants and souvenirs shops. Easy access to Alhambra. It is probably better to take a cab on the way as there are many hills. You can walk back to the hotel with enjoying souvenir shops. Staff are very friendly and helpful. When checking in, they advised us how to access Alhambra and good restaurants around the hotel. Flamenco show they recommended us to go was also great. The view from the roof top bar is very nice too. You can see Alhambra with drinking sangria or wine.

Small, boutique hotel with well appointed furnishings. We were pleasantly surprised to have a separate shower and bathtub in the room. We liked the slippers and the the sentiment printed on them. The breakfast buffet was much better than expected. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We were surprised and disappointed that there were no USB outlets in the room. We had to share one international adapter we bought with us to plug-in into the electrical outlet to charge devices one at a time. Our batteries ran low for the next 12 hours until we arrived at our next hotel room with several USB outlets to charge our many devices. If you’re a light sleeper, request a room away from the street. There’s lots of night life near the hotel.

My wife and I recently spent 3 nights at the hotel and really enjoyed it. The staff were all lovely, friendly and really went out of their way to help us and to make our stay enjoyable. The rooftop bar is great for a late night drink overlooking the Alhambra and when you leave the hotel you’re never more than about ten minutes walk from all of the tapas places and tour start points. The dining area and spa are lovely. Breakfast was great too.

The only thing we would say could be better is that the decor in the rooms in the hotel is a bit dated. There weren’t any USB ports for charging. There was only one cupboard with a hanging rail and it only had four hangers. There was another cupboard but it contained the fridge and a safe. The shelves in both cupboards were too high to reach. For this reason we’ve marked the hotel down, but can’t fault the staff, will definitely choose to stay there again if we go back, but will know what to expect.

well decorated rooms dressing gowns, slippers and free toiletries are provided The rooms are well insulated shutting off any noise coming from Gran via. coffee/ tea facilities are also provided. the cleaning standards are high all around and the staff are well presented, professional and helpful. I would definitely go back there. The location is excellent!

There is nothing not to like really but the TV facilities need be better. The showers are not so user friendly but we found a way in the end.

The team at Gran Via called a couple of days before our stay just toconfirm our arrival time and secondly to give excellent direction on where to park and the best way access. If you haven't been to Granada before, the street are a maze of narrow one way systems so this was so appreciated. Could have been very stressful if we had blindly followed the SATNAV! We arrived and we where swept away with cold Aqua and refreshments and given a Familiarisation and orientation to the city whilst checking in happened in the backgroun and bags where delivered to our room. We booked a Suite and it was beautiful furnished. It had two seperate rooms; the bed room with bathroom attached and Juliette Balcon. The Salon which had comfortable living quarters and a small balcony terrace over looking the street and the cathedral. We didn't eat in the restaurant so can't speak for that but room service was quick and efficient. The Roof Terrace Bar is the most amazing spot! It has the best views of the Alhambra.

The hotel is located centrally and is essentially very near the cathedral and the food market - so everything is in easy walking distance. The staff at the front counter were very helpful and accommodating with dinner and sightseeing recommendations. The room was large and the bed very comfortable. So high quality hotel in a central location.

The bathroom set up had a series of glass doors that were had to navigate but in reality a very minor whinge.
