Microtel by Wyndham Tarlac

This was a great place to stay. We booked last minute as we had initially planned to stay with some family. but for purposes of comfort we elected to stay in a hotel. Microtel came up as one of the cheaper options that still looked comfortable (airconditioning, non-shared bathroom etc). The price was exceptionally generous, our room had 2 queen sized beds and was only costing around 2600PHP per night with a decent breakfast included. Breakfast is ordered the night before and you can select 3 food items and drink. Hotel is located not far from a supermarket and some fast food outlets. Also not that far from the mall. The staff here are fanatic, extremely friendly and helpful. Each day all of the staff greet you good morning and can't do enough to help. Our trip to Microtel was staggered as we had another part of our holiday planned, so we left microtel and returned 9 days later. I had mistakenly booked the wrong date (selected the dates in March instead of February). This was supposed to be a non-refundable booking but the hotel staff understood my mistake and went above and beyond to sort this for me.

Bed and sheets were not the most comfortable, but for the price paid I was not disappointed by this.

The room was very comfortable, we needed a place to sleep when travelling from Banaue to Manila and the location was great for a quick stopover: good value for money, breakfast included and a big parking lot included in the room rate.

The staff at the breakfast area wasn't very friendly. My husband noted on the breakfast sheet the previous evening that he wanted tea, but received coffee. Only after mentioning this to the staff, they said that they didn't have any tea, which is why they brought in coffee. We had to ask for water to get some (we had no glasses or water tap in the breakfast area, although these were available in the reception area), otherwise he wouldn't have received anything to drink.

The staff is very friendly, room is very clean and orderly. Includes a microwave, fridge, coffee packets, electric kettle, blow dryer, and warm shower water. Booking features a free breakfast and excellent Japanese restaurant. This hotel feels safe and secure with a security guard outside who will assist with parking.

The electrical outlets are unreliable, and do not always work for charging laptops. WiFi requires you to sign in each time you reconnect.

The staff was very warm and welcoming, They accommodated us well given that we have a PWD family member. All staff are hospitable and have a ready greeting or smile. I liked the coziness of the place and it was not too far from other locations. The back garden was also nice.

There was really no activity we can do except to stay in the hotel and eat at their only 1 restaurant. I wish there was a covered patio or garden or a pool :)

Super clean rooms. Super efficient staff. Very polite and super helpful in maki v your stay comfortable. Nice quiet place to spend a weekend and a few days. A very nice garden where you can sit and while your time away

The wifi went down a couple of times. Since one of the days i was working, that was a bit of an issue.

Staff are friendly and accommodating. The location is strategic, near to commercial establishments, and SCTEX exit. Breakfast is also good.

Blanket is not comfortable and room is gloomy. I can't open the curtains since my room is on the ground floor and everyone can see the inside of the room. One of the bedside lamps is busted.

for value of its hotel it was exceptional. room was large enough and bathroom was so clean and large. I had no expectation since we are travelling out of the Manila but if i go around the area I will definetly stay again. + brekfast was nice enough.

The location and staff are so friendly.. there foods also delicious..have plenty of potable waters downstairs.

All is good, except the PILLOWS its so uncomfortable super hard and thick worst than you're in the hospital bed..for sure youll get stiff neck too the day after your stay.

The room was ckean and comfy, the staff were accommodating and courteous - they were delightful and eager to help (from the guard, receptionist and cleaning staff). Hotel lobby is cozy. Will recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Luisita area.

No garbage bins outside the hotel, the bathroom door was defective, no refrigerator in our rooms, no complimentary bottled water, but there is a water dispenser in the halls; plated breakfast was average (longganisa and corned beef was not good, tocino and ham was good)
