YAYS The Hague Willemspark

The YAYS apartment was of a very high quality with supercomfortable bed and even the sofa-bed (where our teenage son who is 186 cm slept well), great shower, tastefully and functionally furnished and decorated. The location is also really good - walking distance to both the Central station, the city centre and with a tram stop just outside. You can park just outside but we opted for the somewhat cheaper longer term parking garage which is a 15 min walk a away. The only thing that isn't as nearby as customers may hope is a grocery chop. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. As we were travelling over Easter and tulip season when many places are expensive or fully booked, we thought that YAYS would provide a more affordable but perhaps somewhat simpler accommodation. It was more affordable but the standard was in reality higher than many of the more expensive hotels we had considered. We will definitely stay here again next time we come to the Hague.

Apart from the distance to a grocery shop (appr 15 min by foot) I cannot think of anything that was not to our satisfaction.

The neighborhood is really cute! The apartment layout was great! The staff was very helpful. The laundry was a wonderful thing to have. It's very close to grocery stores and cafés and a tram stop. Next time we plan to rent bikes from you.

The seal around the shower was leaky and the floor became very wet. The noises from the apartment upstairs were fairly loud (but that may have been the occupants more than the property), and I wish the windows opened more. Also, something less heavy than a duvet would have been a nice option for the bed.

Everything was great: the location, the room, the staff.

The property offers for free the usage of washing machines for clothes, which is awesome. The only thing is that sometimes you have to hunt for a free one and some people keep the machines occupied even after they finished washing their clothes. The other thing that was a not so great is that when we checked in, we were informed that because we stayed for more than a week, we would benefit from a free cleaning service mid-weed. The cleaning service itself can be better. Besides changing the towels and sheets, they haven’t vacuumed one bit.

The room was great! In addition to the standard kitchen, I was surprised by the dishwasher with a set of capsules. Separate bathroom was also a pleasant surprise. If you have arrived and do not know what to do, you can use the hotel guide on TV, there are prepared places and routes for exploring the city. An important factor for me was the presence of a washing machine and dryer - there is also already a laundry detergent. That is, you do not need to buy anything additionally yourself - you can move in and just live! I would definitely stay again and will recommend the hotel to friends

It was on the day of our arrival that the elevator broke down, and we lived on the 3rd floor. It was hard to climb the steep stairs (other than that, I didn't find any flaws)

Very nice apartment just like it was in the pictures and everything worked fine. it was also clean. There is a tram stop going toward the center right in front so that was a very good thing for access.

It got a bit hot some nights and i didnt want to open my window(i was on the ground floor and didnt think that was safe) but i did not ask for a fan or anything to make it more comfortable so maybe that is available.

What I liked a lot that we were provided with minimum but very needed things for the kitchen - olive oil, balsamic, salt, paper, sponge, dish wash liquid and tabs. Having huge experience with apartments - this is really not obvious and it is very inconvenient to buy this when your stay is short. Rooms very nice, cozy, like real small apartment, I liked a lot. Till center 10-15 min walk, tram stop 2 min...overall very good impression.

Being Aparthotel concept, rooms not cleaned during your stay and you should take care of your rubbish. We stayed 5 nights, it was acceptable but at the end a bit border line, just to be considered for the longer stay, potentially this might be inconvenient.

In all respects the hotel met my expectations and I had a great stay. The studio was excellent, well equipped and with excellent wi-fi and air conditioning. The location of the hotel is excellent and I also enjoyed the possibility of using the laundry room.

The reception space is not well planned. There is no place to sit (and I had to stand and wait for long time until I could check-in) and it is very difficult to pass through while other guests are checking in. It is also my impression that it is not a particularly friendly space for employees either.

Staff were super helpful and they were available on site and via Whatsapp. They spoke both Dutch and English so that helped. Apartment came with all amenities as well as a laundry room on site.

The laundry room was super helpful if you are travelling with kids. There was an issue with them cutting out mid cycle but overall still a good experience. Wished there was a common room where you could step out of your room for some social or quiet time because of the weather we had no other option but to stay in.

Nicely decorated apartment close to railway station (Den Haag Centraal). Even though normal hotel room size, comfortable living room area and kitchen, separate toilet from bathroom. luxury atmosphere. very friendly staff, free high quality coffee at reception.

it could have been cleaner, both room and common areas. in general the bathroom and kitchen were clean, but at day light, there was dust, and some smudges on walls/tiles, etc. Not too put me off staying there, but it showed a lack of detail to keep it really clean. Also the kitchen appliances showed failures: water kettle did not work, one of the 4 cooking rings did not heat, and we could not get the dishwasher to start… (just bad luck?)

I was totally stunned by this hotel! It is beautifully curated and the room itself is lavish. It has a towel warmer!!!! And the shower has a two attachments with different rain settings! It’s basically a high class apartment at an affordable price. It’s very close to the 9 train to Den Haag Centraal which is an easy connection to Schiphol. The lady at the front desk was so helpful and thorough as well. I forgot her name, but remember her blonde hair. I also loved the coffee machine downstairs. I wish I could’ve stayed longer!

Everything was amazing! Nothing bad!
