Dome Hotel

The hotel - the building, the rooms, the reception - was great. The staff at the reception was polite and friendly. We stayed in the top floor suit and although it's an attic, meaning the ceilings are kind of low, the atmosphere and feeling was great. The room was well equipped with everything needed. Special thanks for higher than usual quality bathrobes.

The staff at the breakfast was rude and impolite, though. There were 2 servers, neither of them greeted us, neither offered menues, neither used any polite phrases like thanks or welcome. We waited for our coffees about 10 minutes, although there were only 6 tables occupied by about 10 guests. Other employees (for example cleaners, bartender) that we met, were as silent as the breakfast staff. We felt propoerly hated.

Staff, especially the receptionists. Excellent accommodation and spacious room. Brilliant location in the heart of the Old Town, but in a quiet side street, so no noise disturbance (we also had a rear room which may have helped). Use of steam room. Great coffee at breakfast.

Food and drink service was slow. We ordered hot food at breakfast twice and had to chase it on both occasions - even then, it took approximately half an hour to arrive - and on the second occasion, I'd only ordered an omelette! Our drinks in the roof bar also took an age to come - about 25 minutes for a cocktail, meaning it had to be drunk quickly so that we weren't late for our restaurant booking! There was a limited choice of bread at breakfast, although other cold food was good. For two days the toaster was broke, but kitchen appeared unable to toast the bread instead.

Beautiful well-renovated modern small hotel (fifteen rooms I think?) located on an old street in central Riga, a few steps away from the Dome Square and Cathedral. Gorgeous rooms, great views. Friendly and helpful staff that helped us tips, and organized a babysitter for our four year old daughter to allow us to go out for an event (our daughter absolutely _loved_ the lady that stayed with her). Excellent freshly prepared breakfast, both a little buffet and à la carte options. All in all an extremely pleasant place to stay.

Our visit to hotel's spa was a bit disorganized. Enjoyable, but the staff didn't seem to know precisely what it is that they were supposed to do and in which order. They figured it out, but it was a bit of a confusing moment.

I arrived late at night, they have reception open 24hrs. But please do not expect an open hotel, this is a nice small boutique hotel in the heart of the old town. I rang the bell, and the door opened. I checked in, got in the room. Very pleasant stay. Nice furniture, bathroom with bath tub, complimentary soap and shampoo. Furnished minibar, comfortable bed, plugs at the side of the bed, WiFi working well. In the morning, I had breakfast. No buffet but I could choose different options in the cozy restaurant and it was really tasty. Friendly staff, Highly recommended.

I must say, the bath tub is a bit high to jump in. Take that into consideration if you have some reduced mobility.

New renovated rooms

As restaurant was not opened after renovation, the breakfast was delivered to room and just in the evening dishes we taken from room after our remark

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and seemed to be genuinely kind. We had an amazing dinner at the restaurant, and breakfast was delicious too. It is a beautiful and interesting building, with a lot of character yet fully modern and updated with style. I loved the staircase! I would stay here again if we return to Riga, which I hope we will as it is a lovely town.

The hotel is located in the heart of the old town, on a narrow cobbled street, very authentic. The rooms are really spacious and very stylish. Careful restoration of an old building. Attentive and helpful staff, delicate and discreet housekeeping. There is a wonderful restaurant in the hotel!

Breakfast is really delicious, but the breakfast "ceremony" could be simplified))

The reception staff were excellent. they went out of their way to help us we were stuck with a flat battery in our hire car three of them talked it over and contacted a local car mechanic who arrived within half an hour and got us going again could not praise them enough in other respects the hotel was comfortable and quiet and perfect location for

we had noisy air conditioning in our bedroom

Very friendly staff. We were welcomed at check in with a glass of Prosecco which was very much appreciated after a long journey. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. The room was extremely comfortable and clean and the breakfasts were superb. Very good for money.

Nothing really. Everything was lovely. Maybe some milk in the room for tea/coffee would be nice.

Exceptional check-in and check-out experience. I normally skip breakfast and this time I did not include breakfast to to catch the guided tour, receptionists offered me coffee and snacks. They were so kind and supportive. Bed comfort and view from my room was quite amazing!

Wifi could be better. I understand that building itself it is very old and historical. Necessary information is also given by receptionist.
