Returning 3rd or 4th time with small kids, will come again! It’s comfortable and safe, so close to all public transport. The big bed is big and sofa in room 602 is perfect.

A really great hotel! It sits right by the airport bus (No 22) route which is a great start. It also sits on the edge of the old town so it is right behind the hotel. It is also just a few minutes walk from the central station if you want to take day trips out of the city. The hotel is really modern and clean and light inside with a very impressive lobby and atrium. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful and our room had a nice city view from 3 windows (as well as another window looking into the atrium). The room was very clean and comfortable and a good size with a modern big bathroom. The room had all the facilities you would expect of a good hotel - a safe, fridge, tea and coffee. Also a complimentary large bottle of water. The breakfast room was spacious and well laid out so even when quite busy you could get to things you wanted. The breakfast was excellent - hot and cold food, fruit, meats, cheeses, breads etc, and it had long opening hours with very attentive and well-trained staff. The hotel also had 2 very fast lifts so you never had to wait long for one even with its 8 floors. I couldn't fault the place.

Breakfast was somewhat bland and the selection was a bit limited, as well as cold. Strange that you had to ask to have your bread toasted as there's no facilities to make toast yourself, which is a breakfast staple around the world. It's okay if you're staying there for 1 or 2 nights but we stayed there for 5 nights and ended up having breakfasts somewhere else 3 out of 5 mornings because we couldn't bear to have such boring food again. We would book this hotel again but without breakfasts.

Second time in this hotel. If I could have given 11 points, I would have! You can immediately see that both the management and the employees of the hotel are dedicated to their work. You can feel the care in every detail, an even better level than in well-known and more expensive hotel chains. Hotel location is perfect, 5min walking distance to the Old City and 7min to Central Bus station and Central Market. Perfect rooms, amazing breakfast! The children really liked this hotel because they could feel comfortable in the big bathtubs. We will definitely stay at this hotel next time!

It's very beautiful hotel in excellent location heart of Old city Riga ,always stay there ,rooms are beautiful ,this time I had very cute like two floor room absolutely amazing ,walking distance everywhere, breakfast excellent..could give more then 10 ,highly recommended

Mmm.. well my personal advice ,I would love to have options to speak in Latvia also ,all English more then welcome, service is spot on and management highly competent and welcome anyone for coment or conversation, means always will come back, brilliant service!! X

The location of the hotel is really very good. In the city center and very close to the supermarket and train, bus stations. Also hotel is very very clean and its still looks like a new. Was very quaet in the room and in the hotel. Nice that in the room was kettle and tea with coffee and complimentary water. Also we had a room in 8 th floor so it was very nice view.

There was quite strange rules. For example if you will damage a towel in the room with some dirt you will need to pay. First time I saw this thing. Also in the room there was no wine opener and if you want to open a bottle it cost 3.50 eur as a room service. And also when we come to breakfast it was around 9.30 and breakfast was till 10.00 the guy who was working there was asking all the guests " do you know that breakfast is only till 10.00" so it was strange its looks like they want you to eat very fast and leave the restourant. Also breakfast was a little bit poor, less hot meal and no baked egg :( I dont want to say nothing bad its really nice hotel but sometimes you can feel there not free, those rules disturbing to relax.

Fantastic service from all the staff, very friendly and welcoming. Upgraded the room free of charge. Very helpful with any questions or requests. Breakfast was very well stocked and a wide variety of options to choose from. Not much noise from the road outside was a bonus. Location is fantastic too. I would highly recommend and if visiting again, I will definitely stay here again.

Only two things I could complain about was the USB plug socket not working and lack of a main light over the bed area in addition to all the lamps. In my opinion, it would have brightened the room up more.

At check-in they ask for you credit card to block some money (i don't remember how much) until you check-out, to cover any misconduct you could have. I'm aware of some apartments normally used by youngsters at cities with an intense night life which have the same policy, but i find it offensive in a 4* hotel in a city like Riga.
