The Jervois

Perfect location and spacious, immaculate apartments at a great price. Staff are super friendly, helpful and prompt.

There was no heat in January and it made my stay a little less cozy than I would have liked. Would be great for them to have a heating option on their air cons or provide small space heaters.

All three front desk staffs that we met in 4 days was very friendly and super nice. Location are perfect, a lot of good restaurants and grocery shop around this hotel. Just 3-5 mins walk to get the Tram station and Shuen Wan MTR underground station and 15-20 mins walk to reach Hong Kong-Macau ferry jetty. As usual, most of the property in Hong Kong are small, especially property located in Central of Hong Kong island, when i step in the room OMG the room are really really small than what I expected. Overall, I will rate this hotel 8 out of 10.

When i step into the kitchen, I found out that there was a lot of coffee stain left on the kitchen floor that have not been mop or clean at all. I myself use the toilet paper to mop it with the hand soap.

The location is perfect as it is near family, there are lots of really good eats and restaurants around the hotel, there is a 7 Elevan shop nearby, easy to order food and pantry items from Panda food app, easy to get around in elevator and around the flat with my recently broken ankle thus why I booked here in the first place, the staff are so helpful with opening the doors and getting me in and out of the hotel, there is a laundry room on the first floor so I don’t have to worry about having to buy new clothes to having to launder them at an extra cost when I can just pop down to the 1st floor via elevator. The housekeeping lady Elaine has been so sweet in giving me extra coffee Nespresso pods if I need more, always caring and sweet. The staff here will do everything possible to make my stay comfortable with my broken ankle and even set me up with a disabled seat in my shower. The bathroom extras are a godsend so I dont have to worry about buying shampoo, I was given a larger bottle instead of little plastic individual shampoos / conditioner / soap. I am very comfortable, well looked after and feel so safe whilst i try to recover for 2 weeks so much so that i extended my stay. There is a microwave, mini fridge, electrical stove cook for the days I don't want takeaways. My sister has a key so she can check in on me, the staff make sure who anyone is before they can come in to check in on me. I love this serviced apartment and I am on the 19th floor with the best window view from my L-shaped sofa which is very comfortable. I will certainly come back here again next time I visit family minus the broken ankle. I highly recommend this venue which is close to town, restaurants, transport and friendly staff.

Nothing I didn’t like at all. The TV channels are not great but the front of house staff helped set me up with the TV so that I can watch my Netflix on the TV screen whilst I recuperate and they have been so accommodating and helpful. A big thanks to Kiki (front of house), Elaine (housekeeping angel) and the night staff at the door for letting in my food deliveries and making my stay the most enjoyable and relaxing experience during a stressful time with foot accident. Highly recommend.

I loved the room! It was comfortable, clean and spacious. It had a kitchenette and water dispenser. WiFi was solid and it was perfect for work. Enjoyed the shower a lot. Good set of pillows. Their IT staff was excellent on resolving WiFi issue.

Depending on your laptop, you may not get onto the WiFi easily. I had difficulty and during that time, the receptionist was unable to provide clear advice on how to navigate. The sofa in the room I stayed probably needs a little repair. Bed was a little too hard for my liking. Is a little pricey. But, it is Hong Kong...

My family and I stayed at the Jervois for 2.5 months and our stay was absolutely excellent. The room was kept very clean, amenities are provided in abundance and the most important and lovely factor for us was the wonderful team @ Jervois. Special shoutout to Joanne who was so lovely , took me on a neighbourhood tour as I had moved to Hong Kong newly , was always so helpful and anything we asked for, we got within minutes. Even the rest of the team @ reception - Kiki, Tommy & Edmond were so lovely and always had the warmest greetings every time we left or entered the property and giving us advice on things to do, weather for the day, etc. Would also like to mention Leelin and Elaine from housekeeping who were delightful. Had a flood in our apartment and had to move to a hotel for two weeks after having left the Jervois, and we did not want to look anywhere else because we had such a lovely stay at Jervois and went right back there and was the best decision. They helped sort everything out for us in minutes and we felt so comfortable even though we had such a rough week dealing with the flooding. Thank you once again for everything to the Jervois team and will always only choose to stay here if need be!! Oh and the rooftop is absolutely stunning, must visit..

Excellent location, even tho lobby a bit small we loved the cleanliness, design and comfort of the stay. Travelled with baby and we could have a cot and also a bed for my helper in the same room - but a Partition for privacy that we can close at night but also can open in the day so we can still care for our baby. family friendly and will definitely stay when I’m back in Hk with family

The staff are super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good - with choices of decent cafes and dim sum. One day I had some early morning plans and the hotel staff was able to arrange Starbucks coupon for me to have breakfast as the designated cafes and dim sum restaurants open later on weekends/public holiday. Thanks Joanne! Even the other lady gave some pretty good advice for food choices in the area. Helpful and friendly staff generally. Room was spacious and comfortable. Small kitchen was very convenient.

I was a bit taken aback when two out of four of the cafes out of the list of cafes actually charged extra when I requested non-dairy milk for my coffee.

I needed a base near my office with a bit of a staycay vibe, so I could finish my thesis and also relax in between running back and forth to the office. It was quite perfect and I wanted to have a second night as the bed was comfy and my little nest with bedroom, bathroom, kitchen (with Nespresso machine) and living room was a treasure and had great views - of my office ha ha! The breakfast (avocado bacon poached egg toast with iced coffee) at The Cupping Room was wonderful and I was able to use the $100 dining voucher there to upgrade my Brekkie!

Nothing! Maybe more milk for coffee and tea in the kitchen. And less mosquitoes annoying the check-in staff and guests in the lobby (but there were none in the suites).

I didn’t like underneath the bed, there is a black colour protrusion in the drawer below adjacent to the bathroom. I banged my little toe on my right foot as I came out of the bathroom and going to fetch something out of the cupboard. I prefer when there is no obstruction under the bed, so our feet may not bang into it as we walk back & forth. I now have a slight fracture in that right toe.

Good size and location. Friendly staff. Accessible to public transport. Pretty good value. Quiet room with double plated windows. L-shaped sofa was a nice touch. Laundry room. Coffee was replenished daily. Staff friendly and also amenable to requests.

Room was a bit dark and the artificial lighting was insufficient particularly at night. Cleaning schedules were quite inconsistent despite multiple requests for them to be conducted within certain time frames. I normally don't have such preferences but with work-from-home arrangements in place across Hong Kong, I found the inconsistency of the cleaning services to be quite disruptive.
