Hotel Windsor

Room for 4 is spacious, hotel is near the Christophstraße / Mediapark Station. Staff was kind and accommodating.

Not that clean - dusty curtains, furniture and heater. No hot water for coffee or tea in the room (but one can request for it at the reception). Poor wifi signal in the room

Comfortable hotel in a very quiet area of Köln but at a short walking distance from the central station (about 10 min walk). The whole hotel and the rooms were super clean. Comfortable beds, quiet rooms, small but clean shower room and in general, the basic facilities one expects in a hotel this size. The breakfast was incredible good value - for €8,50 only. Nice friendly staff too. In the booking it said we were in the ground floor but our room was in fact in the 3rd floor (with lift), with views on a large quiet backyard and no noise from the street. Totally recommendable!

Everything was fine. As mentioned in other reviews, the decor is a bit outdated, but we don't really mind that.

Location is good, there is a parking possibility in the nearby garage. This is a great price for this location. There are nice cafes and restaurants for breakfasts and for dinners.

The noise isolation in the rooms is not very good but it is ok. Everything inside is retro from 1960s, but possibly this can be considered as a plus as well.

Quite a nice hotel. The staff was very friendly and allowed us to leave the car parked at the garage after we checked out. The railway station is in 20 minutes walking.

There is nothing I could really complain about, except maybe the price. There is an elevator, but sometimes you need to walk up or down the stairway to get to your room (although that was not an issue for us).

The stuff was very kind. Room was clean. About 17 min walking from the main station( which is not so close but douable). We could leave our luggages in the storage room after check-out for few hours and we really appreciated that.

The room was pretty small, on the ground floor. Saturday night we could hear a lot of noise from people going up on the stairs I guess, No fridge on the room, no AC, no coffee/ tea. The beds were not very comfortable and the pillows extremely large . Wi-fi was not very good.

the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and good value for money. The bathroom was newly refurbished and very nice. The hotel is quite old, but very clean and well taken care of.

no aircon which on a hot day is needed, but there were big windows which we could open. It is an old building, but well maintained and very clean.

We had a fantastic stay at the hotel Windsor. We arrived at midnight due to a delayed train and was easily able to check in despite this. The gentleman at reception was extremely friendly and polite, even when we tried to speak broken German to him! The room was really big, clean and comfy. Breakfast was very tasty with lots of options and plenty to try, we would not hesitate to stay here again!

Easy access almost everywhere! Subway and bus station are just a few mins away! Lots of local bars, resto, grocery stores nearby! And if u are lucky enough to have a nice walking shoes and no trouble about your knee,, go stroll until the Dom Cathedral ( it took us starting from the hotel around 20mins) 🚶🏻‍♀️🚶🏻

My second stay. Very good breakfast. Pleasant staff. Great location. Comfortable bed. The price-quality ratio is excellent

The surfaces are really clean, but... Shower trays need to be cleaned! Full of hair, clogged. The toilet does not drain well. However, these are details, everything else is very good.

My friends and I stayed in this hotel for one night. The staff is very polite. There is a double bed, a table and chairs, two bedside tables and a wardrobe in the room. The bed and towels were clean. We had a comfortable rest in this hotel. Thank you very much
