Coffee/tea in the room would have been good.

As well as two years ago today this is still a good spot close to Köln Hauptbahnhof for a reasonably priced stay. As I was staying in exactly the same room as last time, the space didn’t changed at all. The room is still small, it’s o’k for sleeping, but you can’t spend a day there.

Breakfast is basic, but sufficient. Don’t expect any exotic meals or a meal change from day to day. Although being renovated here and there and reasonably kept up in a decent shape, the hotel looks tired and would need a refreshment with some repairs. This been said I still recommend this hotel as a budget choice for stay in Köln, especially if you get a good deal.

This was the return leg of travelling from Sweden having stayed at the hotel on the outward journey. This time due to serious issues with train travel I had to advise of a late arrival of 0100 in the morning the staff were very helpful and efficient and the room was very suitable for my needs

I have read other reviews and would agree with another visitor that a glass/cup would be good in the room

Overall we had an enjoyable stay in this Hotel. It was very central to the City including Visitor attractions and the Railway Station which was less than 5minutes away. We found the Staff very friendly and most helpful when we had any queries. The room was comfortable and quiet and also the shower was very good with plenty hot water and excellent water pressure. We found the Breakfasts to be enjoyable with plenty of variety each morning. We would certainly stay here again if visiting this area of Germany.

It was so close to the train station and Cathedral, so had good points of reference to help you find your way back. Close to all the amenities. The staff were super helpful and spoke good English. The rooms were compact but perfect for 2 days stay. The room was clean and the bedding was comfy. Would stay again and would recommend.

Breakfast was standard. Wide array of options from meats, to fruit, to bread, cereal, juices, coffee, etc. The bed was comfortable and the small desk was handy in the room for planning our adventures. Loved the location! A block or two from the main train station and from the Cathedral. Staff was helpful and friendly.

No refrigerator in the room.

It is almost next to the metro station and the cathedral. so convenient to sightsee from on foot.

Upon arrival our door would not open. They gave us another room. That lock was tricky, but we figured out how to operate it and then had no problems.

Room was just right with good outlook and little outside noise

Unfortunately some residents were loud in the corridor and at 4 am someone’s alarm went off and it woke me up. They didn’t switch if off either resulting in 1/2 hour of lost sleep

The bed was comfortable.However, I prefer the double bed but that's not bad. The breakfast was 👍

Air conditioner not enough but I had luck, the weather was amazing in that night for this reason it is not big problem

Everything was simple. The staff were really helpful, caring and would go out of their way to help you. The facilities were clean and the location couldn't be more perfect.

I honestly can't say a bad word about the place.
