CityClass Hotel Europa am Dom

Very central location. Our junior suite terrace was a wonderful bonus with views and outdoor seating. Our relative also had a small balcony and views from their room. Very comfortable bed and room, with good hanging space, seating space and clean modern bathroom. The staff were helpful and responded to requests.

Had to visit the bar to collect tea to take to the room instead of room service. It would be wonderful if a kettle could be provided in the rooms. The staff were polite and helpful.

Spacious and clean bathroom, comfortable bed, and a very quiet room facing the rear of the property (like our first stay here last year). The location is excellent, and the hotel is peaceful despite the great location. Staff are very helpful and friendly too.

We stayed here exactly a year before this visit, and thought everything was great, so we booked it again. However, our stay last year was about €80 and this year it was €130. I know prices have increased everywhere, and I am sure that €130 is still competitive, but it's rather a lot of extra money to pay for what is a very nice and comfortable hotel, rather than a luxurious one. I would still stay here again in the future, but would check that is it competitive in terms of price first.

The location is absolutely perfect - you can walk everything from here. I loved the fact there was an option for single travelers (single bed room) which made it more affordable than other hotels. The breakfast room is spacious and comfortable to start your day with a pretty neat choice for breakfast.

I thought the music on during breakfast was too intrusive and the type of music made it feel like there was a fitness class ongoing behind the breakfast bar. Perhaps the music can be turned off, or switched and turned down? Apart from this I have no suggestions, it was lovely.

The location, breakfast and bed were pretty good!

I booked a room, paid for room and checked -in online the day before I came to hotel. But when we arrived at night the personal on reception told us that there is no reservations for us. I asked to check carefully and provided my booking , but he insisted saying that he doesn't see my booking. Finally he find my booking, when he checked by my name and surname. Is it so difficult to check your guests reservation in system more attentively before saying that there is no bookings made for guests?

The room has enough space for 2 adults with 2 large luggage. They also offer the early check-in if there is room available! Lovely! The hotel also very close to the famous dome and shopping street. Room is clean.

A little walk from train station which need to cross a few roads, a little tough with large luggages. The shower runs very slow, sometimes hot sometimes cold. I tolf this to staff and they were nice enough to help us changed the room .. which i still feel like the water running pretty slow but better than the first room i had.

The hotel was a first class small executive hotel in a fantastic location. It had an excellent breakfast for 15 euros. I loved the bedding but I had to have it changed because there was some down in it and I have allergies to feathers. They were vey kind and replaced it all with synthetic bedding. The front desk staff were great, very kind.

The breakfast staff were awful personality wise no smiles at all just grouchy, all of them, especially the man who I believe was the manager in there. We first looked at the buffet to see if we wanted to pay 15 euros for the buffet. The front desk people told us to have a look so we did. We liked it, so we went and paid for it before breakfast. The manager came to us as we were beginning to get breakfast and treated us like we were trying to get free breakfast. Well that was ok but he kept looking at us later like we were criminals. Otherwise the hotel was fantastic.

This gem is almost directly across the street from the Cathedral & around the corner from the museum & hauptbahnhof. It is next door to an Asian restaurant & walking distance to other restaurants, shops, & museums. We almost passed it up when walking from the hauptbahnhof! The room was very small, yet very nice appointments inside. The bed was super comfy I didn't want to get up! Breakfast was delicious and had a variety of good eats. My view was overlooking into the other building, but it did provide good lighting & the blackout curtains provided the necessary darkness for a peaceful rest. I would stay again.

Room size was lil small for our luggage, but very cozy still.

Perfect location 5 min walking from the train station and the shops. Super Clean! Air conditioned and excellent provision of water in the shower. Complimentary water in the fridge.

This are all minors as we had a good stay and we would recommend/come back : No kettle for tea or coffee considering the price/type of hotel would have been nice . We were in room 111 with the window opening onto a flat roof so felt unsafe to leave window open in the night time. They provide you with only one flat pillow. Asked reception and they got us 2 more pillows. We came earlier than check in time to leave bags and the man in the front desk was very unhappy and no welcoming.

It was very nice to stay in this hotel! We loved it !! Comfy, a great location. The only thing was my nice check-in before me and at reception, the lady wasn't helpful at all about parking the car, only after 5 days, another person in reception told us about a good and cheap car park. But overall I will definitely stay again, Highly recommend

Pilows was very strange ( Very big and very empty( strange) Over all everything was very clean end beds are very comfy

The location could not be better. It had one of the best breakfasts is with fresh fruit and not overcrowded at all. At least one we stayed. Staff was extremely friendly. I have stayed in this hotel several times and always return if I’m going to be in Cologne.

just to know when you arrive, there is no easy place to unload, but there is a place across the street. You have to be quick because it is a police station. LOL. And there are steps not many up to the lobby.
