Hôtel de la Fontaine

Staff was very well informed, had great English language and made every effort to be helpful. The location was good - about 2 blocks from the beach and therefore near the "action." Breakfast was reliably good.

The rooms are of the "micro-hotel" variety - there is about 1 meter or less on each side of the bed - no room for stretching exercises. The chair at the tiny desk blocks passage to the bed. The toilet is in such a small cubby that I dont see how a large person (e.g. a 6" tall man) could get in and out to use it. The room is OK for 1 person which is what we were doing but I dont think it would work for 2. They permitted smoking on the small patio where breakfast was served which was unfortunate as the space was so small we could not avoid the secondhand smoke.

The staff were extremely helpful.

The wifi had to be reinstalled constantly on my IPhone, or did not work on both phone and IPad at the same time. Fortunately, this is where the staff's helpfulness came in.

Excellent location easily reached by tram from airport. Very quiet and well equipped room.

Signing into Wi-Fi needed to be done each session.

It was so lovely. the bed was firm and very comfortable. Pillows as well as cushions. Room made good use of space. With white flowing curtains it felt very airy and like a spa. Bathroom was very nice with bath and shower. I loved the soap which doubled as shampoo - eco and came in two bits so no waste. Magnifying mirror and hairdryer very nice! Only one quibble was I only got one satchet of coffee and no milk. IF I hadn't arrived so late, I would have asked for another. Got two teas though. Location perfect. Any closer and you'd be on the beach. The hotel felt very luxurious and the staff very friendly and chatty. I will definately stay here again!

The location is perfect. Staff is very friendly and nice. When we arrived we were placed in the bedroom with no windows and quite old furniture. I made a complaint at the reception and on 2nd day we were offered another room - exactly what I've booked initially. The staff was very apologetic and helpful. The hotel is very clean. We will be coming back.

We had 2 single bad joint and it was very uncomfortable bcs there were always gap in-between. Double bed would.be better.

Great location: close to beach, many nice restaurants and 15min walk to both old town and train station. Good breakfast, especially lovely to enjoy sitting in the backyard. The staff was super friendly at check in and with any questions.

The bed- and bathroom were very small. It was ok for us and our stay with just hand luggage. Thought I mention it for visitors to be aware in care you plan to come with large luggage.

Perfect location to everything , restaurants, beach , airport and shopping and site seeing

Bathroom folding door should be changed to sliding because water when taking a shower goes out on the floor of bathroom since shower is opposite the shower door . My room was at the garden patio so when guests come for breakfast it becomes noisy and we wake up early in the morning.

This hotel has good wifi suitable for working. Though only one device can be connected at a time. Maybe it's possible to receive additional codes if you ask. They have a delicious continental breakfast available. My room had a bath tub with Consistent water pressure and heat.The hotel is in an older building but well renovated. The staff was very friendly, even permitting to use wifi in the room after checkout. It is very close to Nice city center and a 19 minute walk to Old Nice. There is a tram but I only needed it once. There is also good coffee at the Tunisian restaurant downstairs. The Hotel Negresco cocktail bar is around the corner with live jazz daily. The bed was very comfortable as well.

Excellent location, just 1 block from the beach, but not located in the pedestrian walking zone so it was quiet in the evenings. A nice selection for breakfast. The patio with the fountain was a wonderful retreat from the busy days of sightseeing - it was wonderful to start my day on the quiet of the patio with delicious french press coffee and a pain au chocolat.

Rooms were a bit too cold even after adjusting the thermometer.

Very clean property. Location is unbeatable and each member of the staff we met was extremely friendly and helpful. Discount is provided to access a nearby private beach.

Bed was creaking when sleeping on it. Walls are thin and we would wake up quite early in the morning to some repetitive knocking coming from the neighboring building (our room was adjacent to the next building's walls), lack of fridge in the room.
