Arome Hotel

I am very glad that I stayed at this hotel. It's hard to find a better place for my solo holiday in Nice. The location is good in a safe area and next to the waterfront. The single room is very comfortable and cosy, with a spacious bed, fridge, tea and coffee maker. Liquid soap and shampoo are presented in reusable dispensers. Very comfortable bathroom. Great view from the window on a quiet street. I slept great at night. And every morning a fresh croissant was waiting for me on the doorknob. The air conditioner was not directed to the bed. But I would like to give a special mention to the wonderful people who work here and who made my vacation really perfect. Fabio and Barbara are extremely hospitable and always ready to help. Be sure to follow their recommendations. Thank you very much for my wonderful holidays in Nice. I will gladly return to you again.

We had an excellent stay at Arome hotel. The hotel deserves 5 stars, it was more than expected the moment we walked in. The hotel is welcoming, great room size, very clean, comfortable beds, great size bathroom, and wonderful location. It was very quiet and felt like home. The staff was exceptional especially Fabio - he is incredible!!! I cannot say enough things about him. He would drop off fresh croissants at our door every morning and it was such a nice surprise. He recommended all wonderful places and restaurants during our stay. What a wonderful hotel and we cannot wait to come back.

We loved everything!

Lovely boutique hotel in a fantastic location, close to the prom, tram and train station. It’s difficult to add anything different to the reviews already posted, but the positive messages really are accurate. I also have to thank Fabio for his prompt responses to emails prior to arrival and how approachable and friendly he was during our stay. A huge shout out to Barbara for two fantastic restaurant recommendations, meals, staff and ambiance at both restaurants were amazing. Thank you both for playing a full part in a lovely stay in Nice.

We have nothing but wonderful memories from our stay in Arome hotel. The location (walking distance to prom & old town), facilities, comfort and cleanliness are all 10/10 but as others have alluded to, it is the staff that make the place as special as it is. We were greeted upon arrival by Barbara - she was so welcoming, warm, kind and helpful, with lots of information and recommendations. Brought milk to our room when we requested it. We met Fabio the following day and he gave us so many little tips for the best use of our time in Nice. He also gave recommendations for dinner in an amazing restaurant up the road. They deserve all the positive reviews they are getting and if I was returning to Nice, which I hope to in the future, I would come back here in a heartbeat. As for the croissants on the door- the cherry on top of the cake.

A gem of a hotel. I stayed in a single room which was perfect for my visit. The room was clean and stylish. Bed extremely comfy. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel at home and they could not have been more friendly and helpful. Fabio in particular was extremely kind and informative from the moment of booking. The location is perfect, a short walk from the beautiful promenade and within easy walking distance from the tram stop. Everything you need is on the doorstep.

If I had to be extremely picky, a few extra coat hangers would have been useful but certainly not a deal breaker. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We loved everything! The location was amazing, right in the city center and few steps away from the Promenade des anglais! The building was freshly renewed and tastefully decorated. Our room was small (and we were fully aware of it) but funcional and well equipped, as we had both a kettle and a coffee machine. The warm croissant left outside the door every morning was not only delicious, but a lovely thought. The staff was extra kind, they took care of us in every way, both allowing us to have an earlier check-in and to leave our luggages there after the check out for some hours, but also giving us suggestions about what to visit in Nice and where to eat. We would love to stay here again whenever we will come back to Nice!

Cannot recommend Arome Hotel enough! Fabio and the staff were just wonderful and were proactive in ensuring we got the most out of our short stay. Fabio was quick to respond to my emaill queries and assisted with information prior to our arrival. The Hotel is just beautiful, a renovated old building, not a bright shiny modern Hotel, but a place with heart and soul and a lot of love. The complimentary, fresh croissants are an absolute bonus. We have never understood the French tradition of eating a croissant without buttering it or adding to it...but the croissants that Arome procure for guests are the real thing and we found ourselves just munching on them while strolling the streets of Nice...what a lovely, lovely experience. Fabio and staff gave us many recommendations of places to see that were not even on our list and we had a fabulous evening at the Creperie they recommended, everything was a short walk away. The Hotel was easy walking from the train station and a few minutes from all the sights. The rooms were just stunning, so stylish and very clean. Tea and Coffee facilities in the room were a bonus and although the hotel is central we had lovely quiet nights. We sincerely hope we can return and spend more time in Nice, and we would definately be staying at Arome Hotel. Thank you so much for making us so welcome.

Nothing bad to say!

EVERYTHING! From the warmth welcome on day 1 to the daily croissants hanging on the door. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Room decor/amenities was on point and stylish. The location is great; close to the beach, restaurants and supermarkets and it is 2min walk from the tram. Fabio and his team made us feel truely taken care of. We enjoy every moment of our stay. This is a hotel that provides 5 star service as a first time traveler in Nice ( from travel tips to beach towels) with a home-away-from-home feel at a 3-star price. Thank you!!!! We will be back!

That we had to leave....

Super location; we arrived by #12 bus from the CAP3000 shopping mall and departed by tram to the airport. The hotel was in between each with a walk of appx two blocks. The room was fine for a quick overnight stay. The hosts were fantastic. The area is good for restaurants off the well-beaten tourist trail. We had a xlnt dinner at Le Canon and wished we’d had another night for Bistrot Marin.) Highly recommended!

We are large people (our fault) so the shower was a bit tight but we managed.

Very helpful and polite staff. Great location. Very comfortable bed. The room is cosy and warm.

Extremely noisy. You can hear every single word your neighbours say. Like they sit next to you and talk to you. Some people don't respect "please be silent" sign either and shout / slam with the door at 1 am. The first night was just terrible. After this kind of "sleep" you are tired and irritated the whole next day, not really wanting to walk around and see the city. No English channels. It was supposed to be CNN or BBC there, but when you try to find them, it stands "no signal".
