IBIS BUDGET Biarritz - Anglet

My wife and I have now used this hotel for a number of years as a transit stop en route to Spain. The hotel never disappoints us. Its a great location next to the A68 and just down the road is a Carrefour extra type of shop and a little further some other eateries. Its great to get your head down and we have found it clean , tidy and value for money. I have seen some reviews that moan about this and that but if they expect more than they should pay for it. It is a hotel that is budget but is a little gem for us. I have never had any reason in all these years to criticise any staff member. Will definitely be stopping there is the near future.

I suppose it could not be helped due to Covid-19, but we used to like helping ourselves to breakfast. Now a member of staff has to serve you. We cant wait until we get back to self services. There was only one another criticism about breakfast and that was that there was no toast. Small complaint but I thought you needed to know. Otherwise well done in the present circumstances.

Very friendly helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Short taxi ride to the airport and to the centre of Biarritz. Good for a one night stopover.

The room was small for 3 adults and the bunk over the bed wasn't great for our very tall son. You step from the shower directly into the room which doesn't give any privacy. Probably didn't read the description well enough when I booked.

We booked a triple room at the latest minute. The hotel is close to the airport but more than 10 mins away from Biarritz, it's a typical no frills Ibis budget. To be mentioned the cleanliness of the room and the courtesy of the staff, even though some of them are not able to interact in English.

No elevator, the triple room is very tiny with the washbasin in the room itself and the shower near the bed.

Good located for a place to stay at our journey. The staff was friendly and the room was true to the pictures shown on the internet.

The toilet couldn't be locked and the shower was in the room, so there is no privacy while you're showering.

Near the airport, good value for money if the purpose is just having a sleep. You pay less so your expectations should be not high, and I think this ibis budget fulfill them all. I recommended it if someone wants to have a nice sleep.

Quite small room. Hardly any space to move

This hotel was excellent value for money, and was within reasonably easy access of the railway station, the airport and Biarritz town centre and the seafront.

For a budget hotel, I didn't really have any complaints.
