Hotel Villa Koegui Biarritz

This is one of the best experiences with the hotels that I have stayed. The hotel is only a few minutes away from the beach, major tourist attractions, the restaurants and shopping area. The staff is exceptionally friendly and speaks excellent English, defying the stereotype of unfriendly French people. Plus they are all female! I was most blown away by its breakfast. There must be 15 different kinds of pastries, savory and sweet. Yum!! Apparently they were all freshly homemade by the staff who not only manage the front desk but were also apparently incredible cooks. I have never seen so many different kinds of pastries in one spread. I like modern decor in general so the hotel interior fits me well. The breakfast/common area has a charming garden. The room is extremely clean and well-maintained. I like that it is located among the residential area that you are not bothered by the noise and the crowd while being conveniently only a few steps away. It’s a nice little boutique place. I will defiantly go back if I visit Biarritz again.

I needed to register every time I wanted to use wifi. It was a pain.

Very comfortable room with large bathroom and well appointed. Staff were all warm and friendly. Location was great for accessing the town centre.

WiFi in room did not work and the breakfast, while tasty, was too carb heavy for us. Quite expensive especially with a supplement required for eggs.

The staff were so helpful and friendly. We changed room on the second night due to an issue with the lights in the first one. The second room was the same price but much nicer (request a room on a higher floor). The toiletries and comforts (bedding/robes/towels) were all great quality. Very good location near town and the beach on a quiet street. They have a nice common area and terrace where we enjoyed excellent cappucinos. Thank you Villa Koegui!

Everything. The Hotel is super well located, near the beach and in a area surrounded by sops an restaurants. It is beautiful and is a great value for money. The receptionists are as friendly as they can get, they speak several languages and are really eager to help out with anything. The room was spacious and the bathroom is huge.

The only thing would be that the bathroom doesn't have a door per se. The restroom (WC) does, but where you shower does not. The rest was all perfect.

Excellent location, extremely helpful staff and it feels a very safe place to stay. It is a bit quirky but none the less attractive for that and the general vibe of the hotel is very relaxing.

The rooms are comfortable but a little sparse and breakfast is either superb or a bit unusual depending on your taste; a huge array of beautiful cakes and pastries as well as cereals and fruit but you have to pay extra for eggs, bacon etc.

Value for money. As listed also in forums, breakfast is basic but good. Yet, for the price you pay you expect for more variations and that for extras such as Omlet you dont neet to pay extra . room is large but looks basic. No door for the room of the toilet and shower.

From the first greeting by the staff to the last goodbyes, the staff was accommodating, friendly and full of helpful information. The hotel’s location is central and convenient to the beach The rooms are fine, but the best part of the facility is the inviting outdoor patio for breakfast.

Centrally located, a short walk to the beach and many of the Biarritz attractions. Clean and quiet rooms and a nice lobby and tranquil little hotel terrace.

Very difficult to find any parking nearby on busy days in Biarritz, or even a place to stop and drop off luggage without stopping traffic. Made checking in and out a bit stressful.

Boutique hotel in the centre of Biarritz, very friendly staff that speak both English and Spanish, amazing breakfast with almost everything homemade. Very clean and lovely facilities, great value for money

When I arrived, the receptionist asked if it's my first time there and gave me tips what to see and where to eat. I followed the advice and it was great!
