Kettle Valley Beach Resort

Cute, nicely decorated room in a beach resort. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom with bathtub. You can see that everything has been renovated recently. Easy to find the place as well as check-in. Kendra and Shelly were quick to respond to my questions about the room, and even gave some great recommendations about the restaurants. Definitely would consider staying here again when in Penticton.

The room was quite cold when we checked in, but since we were leaving for dinner, after turning on the heating before we left, it did get warmer so that once we got back, it was better. Though if you're like me, do consider bringing slippers, because the floor is quite cold. Might be actually a really great thing for the summer :)

The location was perfect, rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, soft towels, and comfortable beds. We came specifically to participate in the Okanagan GranFondo so loved the proximity to the start and finish line.

Parking is free but stalls are not assigned. We managed to get a spot in front of our unit, but noticed other guests checking in to their rooms and having to park quite a ways from their units. One pair of guests even created a parking spot as all the proper stalls were occupied. Parking should be assigned to guests.

Location is perfect, right across from Okanagan beach and there's a great restaurant right beside the motel (Sociale Ristorante). The rooms are fairly basic but very clean and nicely decorated. Bed and pillows were comfortable, sheets were good (I'm very fussy about those things!). Water pressure in the shower was also good AND the shower head is installed nice and high for tall people. Good reading lamps. The staff were working offsite but their communication was GREAT. They texted me every day, checking in to see if my stay was going well or if there was anything I needed. When I texted them, they responded immediately.

Suite B10. Keyless entry system is great, very clean, enough space for small family with all you need to make meals. Excellent location in the middle of where everyone wants to be. This suite was nice and quiet. However, bed was way soft, and air conditioning struggled to keep entire suite cool at times, because there was only one in the living room. Suggestion...add a second unit in the bedroom. Parking was tight, but we had a spot. Price for the unit was way over, should not be more than $199 peak season, we paid close to $300/night

The motel looks newly renovated and decorated very nicely. The bed was very comfortable and my room was very quiet at all times. Great location right across from the lake and close to restaurants to satisfy everyone.

The very noisy AC. WOW it was like sleeping inside a wind tunnel. I had to wear earplugs or I couldn't block the noise. We had some really hot days and nights the AC was definitely needed.

Very efficient check in process - rooms were updated, clean and great value. You are right on the beach strip and about a 10 minute walk to the "downtown". The restaurant at the motel is very good.

Windows had no screens - not sure if this is a BC thing - it was fine though we just made sure to shut everything before we left the room. It can be a little loud depending on your neighbours but kind of part of the vibe

nice to check in and out without contact, that was really great. The room was super cool when we got there too which was nice, the a/c was on and was perfect.

Better lighting to put make up on, a box of kleenex would be nice too. Better coffee pots (like nespresso or kureig). The rug in our room had the corner bent up which was a tripping hazard, not for me, but some folks could fall and hurt themselves.

Great location; modern fixtures and a cool vibe. We were so pleased with this motel. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. I've stayed in several Penticton beach front motels over the years and the Kettle Valley Beach Resort is by far the best! Love the seamless check-in process. The onsite restaurant was an added bonus.

Nothing -it was perfect.

Comfy bed, great TV, good fridge. Everything worked well except one bedside lamp, which didn’t have a plug, just wires. Never saw the staff but they were super-fast to reply to texts when we had questions.

Parking lot was a little tight, but we were driving a pickup. Smaller vehicles will have no problem.

Very cute, clean, updated, great location, easy and efficient check in and check out. The photos of the rooms were very accurate to the real thing. Very comfortable beds. I would definitely stay here again.

The air conditioner is pretty loud and old and could be updated to a quieter unit that is easier to sleep with while it's running.
