Large room, comfortable beds, fridge, coffee maker and k-pods, microwave, good cable TV, good A/C. Decent, if not institutional breakfast from 6:00 - 9:30

1 km + walk to all but 1 restaurant, pool closed, but this known when making reservation. Only one entrance to hotel parking lot for both cars and pedestrians in worst possible location, when walking from lake you pass 10 meters from the hotel entrance, but still have to walk 500 meters down the street and back through the parking lot to get to the front door

We stay in a 2 double bed guest room, bed are soft and comfy room is big and very spacious for a 3 person, towels are neat ,clean and soft. Breakfast every morning was amazing plenty of choices. loved the pancake maker easy to operate even a small kids can do. And lastly plenty of beverages from hot to cold.

The only thing we don't like is unfortunately we experience some ants in our dining table and TV stand or table and inside the fridge. Or is it because we were in a ground floor. Well I hope only us has this experience.

Hotel is close to Okanagan Lake, grassy park and is easily accessible from major highway and nearby restaurants. Plenty of parking was available. It has indoor swimming pool and hot tub, though we didn’t use these amenities this time. Room was spacious, air condition worked well in a few very warm days we stayed. Laundry facility in the hotel was a good amenity for a family. Check Inn staff was friendly and provided helpful info about the local area. Checkout was quick.

Breakfast should have more healthy vegetarian options.

A caucasian female front counter working days was rude and racist to a fellow non-caucasian female house cleaner by yelling "I want all beds to be stripped of the sheets". This occurred on September 18, 2022, at approximately 09:00 hrs. This employee did not have to yell at another employee. A little biased free culture training should be implemented.

Location was good. The room was very large. Short walk to beach, coffee shop and a Dennys restaurant. Nothing is too long to drive to. Bed was comfortable. Lots of hot water for showers. Big window let's in light. Next time would reserve a room on the courtyard. Breakfast was okay.

Needs new pillows and please have two comfortable chairs. The breakfast needs to have bacon or sausage, an egg option that isn't cold hard boiled. Also please add bananas to fruit.

We had a great stay. Next time we will request a ground floor pool side room as we live to sit on a deck or balcony later in the day and our room was facing the parking lot with no outside deck or patio. The rooms were clean and spacious and very clean. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed due to staff shortages and we never had our room cleaned, also due to staff shortages. We understood. This is something we saw throughout B.C. At restaurants and places to stay. Nobody wants to work when the government is paying them more money to stay home. Feel bad for owners of business trying to survive COVID shutdowns only to find out they can’t open due to staffing shortages. One great thing about this Inn is its location. Walking distance to beaches and nearby restaurants and the casino, and super close to the channel rafting, so you don’t have to carry your floating raft very far. The pool was clean and very nice. We never used the indoor pool. Staff were friendly. The free continental breakfast was good.

That we were able to book 2 adjacent rooms on Thursday before a long weekend after John our Airbnb host in Penticton turned out to be a scammer. We figured it out just hours before checking in and managed to book the days in. It turned out to be a fine alternative. Rooms were generously sized and decently appointed. The staff allowed us to store our mountain bikes in the rooms. Beds although firm delivered good sleeps. Better hard than soft! Included breakfast was simple but did the trick. The rooms are air conditioned. The staff were great. Very responsive and extremely friendly. Nothing like hearing a cheery greeting like, “welcome back Mr and Mrs Frost, how was your evening?” The pool was perfectly refreshing and no one came to play police man when we had a couple of our favourite refreshments around the pool. Respectful of everyone else of course.

So because we got the last couple of rooms we were in the somewhat undesirable 2nd floor of the lobby building. Nothing at all wrong except you have to pack your luggage up the stairs. No bell cart for us! Not a big deal but given we were teed up for an Airbnb we had all kinds of stuff with us. Our rooms swallowed everything and the staff was very understanding and helped hold the doors open for us. Only other miss was that the cleaning staff missed our towels. No big deal as the front desk sorted us out quickly.

The staff was friendly, courteous and professional. Can’t beat the location. It’s close to river for tubing. The beach is very close but not right outside your door. The mini golf and fun park are right there. It’s a 2 min walk to the strip mall. This is great for food, coffee and supplies. Tim Hortons, Starbucks, A&W for starters. The complementary breakfast is good and makes mornings easier. Toast, bagels, pancakes, cereal, muffins, yogurt, fruit. Coffee, tea and juice.

The property is a little dated. Could used a refresh. It’s clean and maintained. The beds were firmer than I like but that’s a personal preference.

Quiet and clean room. Relatively balanced breakfast. Great location to the beach, Adventure Park or canal. Close to restaurants. Room had a microvawe which was a bonus.

Breakfast could use more variety. Hot tub did not seem to be cleaned that often.

The location is always a plus for us because we come in to town specifically to float and its a very close walk to the lake strip.

When I misunderstood the way booking dot com billed me and brought my question to the front desk staff on the night of check in, he lacked any patience or empathy towards my situation, I made a mistake and wasn't rude about it, just wanted help he in summation said it's not my problem it's booking .com. But upon check out I raised my pricing concern again and the lady was much more accommodating and kind.
