I was glad that the reception of the hotel worked 24/7. I felt safer. The staff at the reception was made up of young smiling people. It was great. I had a large room with a large bed and a private bathroom. there was a wardrobe in the room. A big advantage was the fridge in the room. The hotel had a very strategic location near Brussel-Zuid/Midi station. I traveled a lot all over Belgium, I was at the station from the hotel in 5 minutes. There are many restaurants near the hotel. It is 10-15 minutes to the city center. In 15 minutes you can easily walk to the Town Hall or to the peeing fountain.

I had a room on the ground floor overlooking the courtyard. I would feel safer if there was a bar on the window. it was hot at night and I had to open all the windows to ventilate the room better. I was afraid that someone would come into my room at night. but nothing happened.

To be honest, by the all the reviews I was a bit unsure what to expect. But the hotel exceeded my expectation. The price of the hotel was expected comparing the prices in whole city and other hotels. I stayed at hotel for four nights and I was satisfied. It was not the best hotel I have been to, but also it was not the worst - I would say one of the good one. The hotel is near by the station Midi Zuid, which is cca 7 min. from hotel which as many comments say is right now next to roadwork (new line for subway). The hotel might seem in bad location, but I think it was good location. Right next to hotel is another hotel/restaurant which looked really expensive and some office buildings. I read there is a pee smell in the area of the hotel in one review, but to be honest, the centrum of the city truly smells and it is not just by the hotel. As in any bigger city, there are homeless people near by station, but not by the hotel or on the hotel's street. The hotel is 10-15 minutes from city centrum with lots of multi-culture small businesses on the way. I loved the variety and near by brazilian supermarket. The hotel on its own looks very small and corridor to the room was quite narrow, but the room and bathroom was quite big. The reception is clean and nicely renovated with nice people working there. The room was a bit darker due to trees behind the window, but I really dont mind, there was enough lights in the room and there was not loud noises from outside. The AC is not working, but in the room was a fan, which was sufficient. The bed was comfy, even though I am not big fan of one bed cover for two people bed. Some of the plugs seemed wobbly and there were visible cabled from TV to wall. The mini fridge did not work for me. The room except the soft curtains was overall really clean. The bathroom was really clean, the warm water worked, clean towels were provided.

I did not use services of cleaning lady while I was staying at hotel, but I saw her everyday cleaning. The only con would be the noise from corridor in the night - on one night I could here people coming to there rooms from outside and closing their doors. The bathroom doors worked perfectly. For the price and in short time I was looking for something it was the best option and I was satisfied.

This is a budget hotel in a great location for the Eurostar. It is basic but its clean and good value for the price. We did not have breakfast so can not comment on that.

The area surrounding the hotel is undergoing a lot of redevelopment (August 2023) . I'm sure it will be great when it is complete but meanwhile the area is basically a big construction site and most shops and restaurants are closed down. It wasn't particularly noisy to be fair and for a low cost stopover to catch Eurostar it worked OK but not good as a base for several nights if your aim is to sightsee around Brussels.

Great room at a relatively reasonable rate, location is good to get quickly get into the centre of brussels and the eurostar terminal. Spent ages trying to find a hotel in Brussels without a poor cleanliness rating at an affordable rate, this one didn't disappoint. Front desk were very helpful.

The area where the hotel is situated is very rough and doesn't feel safe walking around at night, but that isn't the fault of the hotel. The nighttime security guard hangs around with a group of people outside the front whilst smoking which is a bit intimidating when coming back late at night, especially as they come and question you if you're staying there after you've already walked into the hotel.

- Location is central, but a bit run down area. There is a supermarket in the next door of hotel - Cleanliness an air conditioner is good - Bed is ok - Staff are helpful - Room size is ok - Price is reaonable when it is compared with other hotels in Brussels

- No coffee / tea maker inside room - No safety box in the room - Stairway is very narrow and elevator is very small. In fact, it has been a house which converted to hotel. - I booked the room without beakfast; so, I cannot make comment aboout that. - The room are noisy. The noise of other people is walking is easily heard from the room. - I recommend that a renovation to be done in WC / bath.

Location, short walk to Brussels-Midi station. Ideal for a stopover. Can also walk to Grand Place etc. Fridge in room. Free WiFi. Nice ensuite bathroom with own shower despite Booking.com suggesting I pay more for a private bathroom after I had booked. I messaged the hotel directly and they said all rooms are ensuite.

It was very warm in Brussels but I didn't want to leave the window open at night because it was next to the fire escape but the room wasn't too hot to stop me sleeping.

Location to Brussels midi-zuid is only 5 minutes walk. Best suggestion is to walk out of Brussels midi-zuid station and head north east up along Esp. de l’Europe and approach the hotel from the east. The room was a pleasant surprise and really nice.

Google map directions brought us walking from the west along Bd Jamar passed some unsavoury characters of 2 young men harassing another couple walking in front of us. There was a construction zone in front of the hotel.

Within walking distance of the railway station and several restaurants which stay open late, also not far to walk to the attractions of Brussels. Check-in was very friendly and efficient. Being able to leave luggage after check-in so you can still sightsee while waiting for your late train is also fantastic. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable.

It's a budget hotel so don't expect frills and luxury or a view.

Good place for a short stay. Close to station and some attractions. I hesitated when I read reviews that says the street is not safe but it’s the same with other streets not just in the hotel’s location. The construction in front is not really their fault, and it didnt bother me during my stay. Also good wifi.

AC not working. Luckily it was not a hot day when I was there

It's a clean, modern hotel 200 yards from the Gare du Midi. It's beginning to show its age - I don't think that the decor has changed in the last 10 years that I've been coming here but, more importantly, neither have the prices. This is my first-choice hotel and always will be when I'm travelling through Brussels. It's the best city-centre Budget Hotel that I've ever encountered. If you want Hilton comfort, stay away. There are plenty of big hotels in the vicinity, but you won't get value for money there like you do here.
