B&B Hotel Brussels Centre Gare du Midi

Our room was in the basement, which meant we didn't have a great signal, but the hotel does provide WiFi, which was great. The lower floor was quiet. The room was clean with everything of good quality and well put together. The bed was comfortable but additional pillows would have been good, there was only 1 pillow each. The location is almost directly across from the station which was great for arrival and departure, there are shops and places to eat and drink nearby. During the couple of interactions I had with the staff, they were all very friendly and approachable. I would have no problem staying here again in the future

Our room was very warm, while we tried to use in the in room temperature controls to cool down they didn't make any difference. As in a lot of cities the area wasn't the best, especially in the evening. I didn't feel too confident walking around, and if I'd been alone I think I would have returned earlier

The hotel boasts a prime location, just a 5-minute walk from Brussels Zuid, making it exceptionally convenient. My stay at this establishment was unplanned, prompted by the cancellation of my Eurostar journey. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and kind, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Noteworthy was their proactive approach to accommodating guests with early departures. Despite the usual Saturday breakfast start time of 7:00 AM, they graciously commenced service at 6:45 AM to cater to the needs of those, like myself, catching the first Eurostar service. This thoughtful gesture demonstrated their commitment to guest satisfaction and flexibility in ensuring a positive stay.

Breakfast was simple and average, but it was included in the price.

1) Location - 2 minute walk to Brussels-Midi where you can take train to anywhere in Belgium. 2) Staff - Arrived very late due to flight delays but Himad made every effort to ensure I have all the information to make my stay enjoyable 3) Environment-friendly policies - incentives to protect environment by giving 5 Eur vouchers if guests hang a "No service needed" card on the door. Unfortunately, I only stayed one night so was unable to benefit from this 4) Free hot coffee & tea, water at the lobby 5) Room was very well maintained and looked very new for a 5-year old establishment. 6) Full range of TV programs 7) Bathroom was very new. Ample hot water. 8) Room was warm and comfortable - one of the best beds and pillows I have slept on during my trip

Stayed with friends in this hotel before the holidays (specially came to the Christmas market in the city center). We arrived a little earlier than the check-in time, but we were greeted very warmly and professionally and checked in right away, which gave us more time to explore the city and the fair. In general, the hotel staff is very friendly and courteous. The room is small, but quite comfortable and compact, clean and tidy. The location of the hotel is very convenient, near the station, the metro, the center is a 20-minute walk away.

The only caveat was that the room the friends got was full of smoke, there was a very strong smell of nicotine. But in general, it's great, I recommend it!

Staff were super friendly and let us check-in around 11am instead of having to wait until 3pm. Main train station was just across the road and a main tramline to the heart of the city was a few minutes walk away. Room was nice and clean.

Gave it a 8 instead of 10 as the window wouldn’t open and the shower-head in our room was damaged and didn’t spray evenly, it poured from the centre. The immediate area around the hotel was probably the poorer side of town so expect lots of graffiti and litter and not much in the way of touristic photo opportunities.

A bit slow during check in but good polite staff, on the other hand its has swift check out. They gave us a door code to access our room which is something new for me. Wifi connection is good and room is clean and tidy. We find the room size quite smaller than we expected but bed is nice and comfy for our liking. It is 5 mins walk from the train station so easy for us to reach bruges and antwerp. Some restaurants are nearby and somehow we don't feel unsafe around. We think its a good value for money.

Only one elevator and takes so much waiting time.

The staff on the front desk were really helpful - as we had very limited time, only one afternoon in Brussels, he gave us great advice on what to see. We stayed two nights and had to get to Ypres for one of the days and then onto the Eurostar the following day, so we needed to be very close to the station, it is just a couple of minutes walk down on the same street so very handily located. The room was clean and the bed comfy. A little small so if you want to stretch out, this may not be the place for you. Fine for us though, we would most definately stay here again if in Belgium. If you don't feel the need to get your room made up, a voucher was provided to spend on a snack or drink or breakfast, great to see, save the planet! Just a tip, the Italian restaurant next door is just wonderful!

The hotel looks modern, and they offer free coffee next to the reception. The room was clean, and so was the bathroom. Everything in the room was new and, even though it's on a busy street, it's not noisy at all. Breakfast is good.

The room is extremely small. The shower area didn't have a door, so the water would spill during showers. I don't think this was very well designed.

Everything about our stay here was wonderful. We arrived very early and were just going to leave our bags to go exploring but the member of male staff on the reception desk very kindly checked us in. This was greatly appreciated as we'd had a very early start that morning. He was very professional and helpful as were all other staff we encountered during our stay. Another male staff member arranged for us to have breakfast before the official time on our last morning as our flight time meant we would miss the scheduled time. Staff here are faultless!! Can't do enough for you. Very conveniently located to the train station which was perfect as we went on day trips to Ghent and Bruges. The breakfast was very good quality and it was lovely to have unlimited hot drinks at any time off day from the reception area due to not having tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The room itself was small but perfectly functional for the amount of time we were spending in it. The room and communal areas were all very clean and well looked after.

The breakfast area was quite small so if there were a large group all eating together it would get extremely full, sometimes with the only seats available being out in reception and it was a bit loud. While there was a good selection of food it wasn't replenished quickly enough when it ran out. I had to ask a few times for more to be brought out.

It was really close to the Bruxelles Midi train station (Exit 4). The hotel was probably newly renovated, so everything is still new and functioning well. The reception helped with luggage storage and there is free coffee/tea/water available next to the reception center, which was great! There were also a few nice restaurants within walking distance.

Everything was up to expectation except for the room size which were small. We could only open one medium luggage at one time and there were no additional seating space. The bathroom was also quite small with half partition at the shower area, so water tends to splash out.
