Spindrift on the Beach - Absolute Beachfront

The unit we stayed in was beachfront and had a balcony looking over the beach and direct beach access from the building. There was a small lift, secure parking, and a pool with a spa. The unit had comfortable beds and simple furnishing. There were a few good restaurants and cafes nearby. It was quiet apart from the sound of the ocean.

The unit is in need of painting and the supplies offered were minimal. It didn't include beach towels, which would have been frustrating had we arrived by plane and not able to bring our own, or face cloths.

Superb beachfront location and just a couple of doors down from the Nobby surf lifesaving club. The apartment was spacious & clean.

Beds were very soft. I would like more comfortable outdoor furniture on the balcony that you can sit in the sun and relax in. The apartment we were in had a high bar table and stools which was not comfortable and impossible for my elderly mother to sit at.

Ideally located to all places we wished to visit. Very handy to shopping centre and local shops. Each time l have stayed l’ve noticed that all other holiday makers were respectful of each other and there was never any unnecessary noise. Will definitely stay again

We stayed in unit 22 and the hot water temperature should be regulated as it was scolding hot. Someone, especially a child could sustain a serious burn.

Location absolutely fantastic, Completely Beachfront, easy access. Beautiful views from every room, balcony good, everything provided in apt for a comfortable stay. Accomodation is in the older decor end, but very clean , safe, quiet. Staff very helpful, small shops cafes, restaurants nearby, Bus to pacific fair , tram from there to surfers. Situated between Broadbeach and Burleigh Heads. For a relaxing peaceful, lots of walking on beach perfect.

Nothing , have rebooked.

Lovely views from the wraparound balcony, comfortable clean facilities. Perfect location overlooking Nobby Beach and just 5 minutes' walk to shops, 2 minutes to cafes.

Staying for a week, it would have been nice not to have to go and buy toilet paper, tea bags, washing up liquid etc - I know the apartments are individually owned, but these minor considerations make all the difference.

Convenient location right on the beach and close to shops. Great area for walks.

Lift was broken down on our arrival and we had to wait about two hours till almost dark before we could get up to our 4th floor unit with all our luggage. No compensation offered. We are 80 years old.

Spindrift is in a perfect location right on the beach.Apartments are fantastic good size and have everything you need for a good holiday.People at the front desk are very friendly and eager to help make your stay fantastic.Beds are very comfortable.I would highly recommend you stay at Spindrift.

Spindrift was better than it was advertised to be. The architecture allows excellent views even from our side apartment and the access to the beach was straightforward. The pool and spa were kept maintained and well heated. The apartment space felt even larger than the 115 m2 advertised, again due to good design. We were lucky to get heavily discounted rate on booking.com and were very tempted to pay the extra to try out the larger apartment with full sea views. If you are looking for a value option for a supreme location this is the place. Of course the neighbourhood of Nobby Beach is well known for its cheery vibe.

Wifi was a bit patchy but we found that sometimes if we couldn't log onto our room number, we could access via other rooms as the password was the same. Minor hiccup the lift was out of action for a day or so but from what I saw this was well managed. Fire stairs access was suitable.

Great location on the beachfront plus the pool and spa were heated to perfect temperatures… uninterrupted beach to surfers and miami for long walks morning and night. Massive choice of cafes and restaurants nearby (BSKT + The Backyard Cafe for brekky and Romanas Italian for pizza - yuuuummm!!)

Unit could have been a bit better cleaned / some mould noticed in ensuite and on blinds

absolute beach front, the beach is not crowded like the others. it has a small pool to dive in too. the apartment is complete with all the standard facilities. the manager is so friendly and understandable.

probably the wifi which is slow and unstable.
