BreakFree Diamond Beach

We enjoyed that we could walk everywhere didn't need the car. Close to the beach and shops and tram amazing. Very clean modern unit.

There is construction going on and the noise was deafening early hours, concrete was being poured just after 4am wasn't supposed to start till 6.30am, very tired that day. The water pressure in the shower was not great probably can't be helped but we were given 1 towel each for 7 days washing machine and dryer in the unit but would have liked some more towels.

Loved the pool and bbq area. Great location and nice rooms.

Room wasn’t very clean. Under the heatpump remote was a lot of hair and dust. We did not have enough toilet paper to last us for the service even though we were hardly home so had to ask at front desk. Next time it would be great to be fully stocked as the services are only every 4 days. I had no issue in this other then we didn’t have enough stuff to last us 4 days.

Location is great, pool and ammenities were great and reception was friendly welcoming and went out of their way to help us.

Unfortunately the people before us may have partied a little hard and some cleaning in the bathroom was missed as there was some vomit down the side of the toilet, the bathrooms needed a little more attention but otherwise the rest of the apartment looked and smelt very clean. This might have been due to a cleaner doing a rush job and I would hope not the standard for this resort. One other disappointing aspect is the water tends to leak through the shower door leaving water on the floor. A squeegee is provided to fix this, not an a major drama, just a bit inconvenient.

The location is good, and easy to get to the local shops and attractions. The apartment was very spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed. Couch was a little hard but ok. Beds were very comfy. The pool looked amazing we didn't have a chance to get in but friends kids did and loved it.

The parking bays are allocated by apartment and very tight when you have a large hire car :-I would love it more if there was a cafe on site.

The property is getting a bit dated but were comfortable and safe. We were a bit disappointed in the lack of communication when they resealed the bbq area and didn’t let us know the pool and spa area were unusable

Lack of communication with staff. All they needed to do was slip a piece of paper under door to let us know about pool area. Not everyone goes to the office everyday

Situated between Mermaid Beach and Broadbeach the location was excellent it was within walking distance of Broadbeach Shopping area with plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from. it had two great swimming lagoons on site and was 2 minutes walk from the beach.

Location, facilities for couples and families. Our room was a two bedroom self contained apartment which had two great balconies, one with a private outdoor area. New refurbished kitchen with modern appliances, two ensuites and laundry if inclined to do any housework (we weren’t)

The facilities are excellent and location is great

The matresses on all our beds were terrible like sleeping on wire coils with absolutely no support if you moved you would wakeup it really was just so bad when l reported this l was told nothing could be done to replace them. We stayed here last year and the room we had then was far better same layout but they had left some basic condiments like salt and pepper tea towels rubbish bags etc and the beds were of OH&S standards seriously these beds left us stiff, tired and sore each morning!!! Dont get me wrong here we love this resort but if you want repeat visitors you need to maintain a standard even in privately owned apartment's.

We love everything in the resort. It is clean and the staff are very friendly. The room is perfect our needs and its close for everything like beach, restaurant, Pacific Fair for shopping.

The stairs! we stayed in room 27 and just imagine all the heavy luggage you have when you arrive in that stairs. Before we booked our accommodation, I have requested to have a room in ground floor since I'm having trouble with my legs. Unfortunately they all booked out.

Very spacious family of 6, great facilities. The kids loved the pools. Toddlers pool and 2 big pools to be able to suit everyone. Close walking distance to shops and beach.

The bathrooms were a half step up from the bedroom so the everyone kept triping on them. It needs a good deep clean. You can see main areas are cleaned but everything else is left.

Great Location, pool and BBQ area were first class, room was better than expected, Would stay there again with no hesitation. Beds were comfortable, air conditioning and ceiling fans did the job. Excellent location with walking distance to Pacific Fair for great shopping and restaurants.

Lot's of construction all around so plenty of noise starts from 7am.
