Novotel Abu Dhabi Al Bustan

The room was clean and great for a family of 4 (two young children). The room was clean and comfortable for the most part. The location of the hotel was good, close to many restaurants and sites to visit. The breakfast was amazing and so was the pool. We had a great time and I would book here again.

I did not like how the reception dealt with us when we asked for things such as ice, they demanded payment in advance instead of putting the cost on the room. It was a behavior I never experienced before. We spent more than AED 3000, and they would only accept our order for a bucket of ice if we paid AED 10 in advance?! It was a weird interaction.

Value for the money, Friday staff, good location, nice and rich breakfast, clean, big pool, taxi availability all times, comfortable bed, there are no chargable items in fridge (which hotels force on you), bathroom has separated shower area, good wordrobe space to unpack your cloth. I stayed 7 nights and enjoyed it. Info for taxi: The trip to the airport is around 25 minutes and costs 50-60 Dhs. The trip to Yas Island attractions is around 25 minutes and costs 60 - 70 Dhs.

Everything was very good, but only minor minor things: the sofa bed was good in size but not that much comfortable. The room space after opening the sofa bed is a little bit small (2 adult and 2 kids) but still ok, especially for the amount I paid, and an upgrade is available for a reasonable price.

Based on the price I paid for the stay, I was really impressed with the hotel overall. Very fancy, the facilities were out of my expectations. Nice room (the non-smoking one. Smoking one, pretty bad. Check below for details), the gym is really well equipped, nice pool, and the breakfast was superb. There were so many options that I couldn't get a taste of everything despite staying for five nights. I definitely recommend this hotel!

My check-in was quite late (2am) due to my flight and they did not have a non-smoking room available, even though I had booked one. They sent me to a "refreshened" smoking room for that night, but promised to move me to a non-smoking room in the next day. The smell in the smoking room was really bad, even with the air refresher they sprayed and my clothes got super stinky. Also, the carpets were pretty dirty. Fortunately, they moved me to a non-smoking room, as promised, and it was a thousand times better (did not stink, the carpet was clean). So, I am glad they did what they promised me, but if I book a non-smoking room, I want a non-smoking room. I don't want to cope with the smell, nor with the clothes getting stinky afterwards.

The property was in a great and peaceful location.

Housekeeping in general wasnt so great. In the P3 parking area on both days found used condoms lying! The coffee cups in the room werent clean with stains of old coffee! Housekeeping needs focus from the hotel management!

Good breakfast, a bit crowded in peak hours. Eggs station line busy but they try to move faster. Bar is good with the usual high prices of the area. Negroni well served. A nice not too large selection of draught beers helps. Bar is next to the pool, but only in first floor. There are some nice city views though. Gym is great, technogym equipped with the latest.

Food was very good the first lunch (tuna tartar) but dissappointing the second one (just a not remarkable, quite the opposite) burger. Taxis must be stopped from the road. Luckily, one guy from the staff hotel helps customers with the task. More water in the room is needed, please.

A grand lobby with welcoming staff was the first impression that was captured giving me a good vibe to stay! The service was great, food was good and everything was lively. I would specially like to thank Ms Hritika and Mr Ahmad from Reception. They assisted us with sight-seeings and gave a pleasant room being polite and professional as we were visiting Abu Dhabi for the first time. Breakfast was great! Pool and other facilities are well maintained. Ms Mansari is very friendly and had good time with our kids. Would love to stay in the property again!

It was quite busy while we checked in and the luggage took a little time as it went missing, however thanks to Sandip he managed to find it and get it as quick to the room. Advise that the room requests can be more speedy. By far the stay was perfect

A reasonable size of the room with a queen sofa bed for children standard breakfast Good swimming pool with a separate jacuzzi and children's swimming pool.

On the booking.com reservation page, it was mentioned AED 259 including tax but at the reception they charged AED 340.04.

We came here with our family for the first time to sightsee abu Dhabi and would be heading to Dubai with kids... The location was good close to couple of attractions like mosque and malls, even airport was 20 mins away from hotel. Good facilities, heated outdoor pool and the staff from pool area was very friendly, special thanks to ms mansari who took good care of my kids. Its a grand lobby and reception staff is very friendly. We were checked in early morning and the indian lady ms hritika was very polite and quickly accomodated our requests, also gave us a guide to visit places. conceige team was very helpful and assisted us to book a big taxi. Overall It was a great stayy!!

The buffet had too many options however due to peak hours i felt it was too much crowded and seating was not enough tho but food was amazing

I booked a room with a free cancellation option and the payment for the booking should have been withdrawn on the day of the booking at 18:00. However, they charged me a day before. When I asked the staff why the amount has been charged earlier than it should be, they said that all of the rooms of the hotel are booked and in order not to lose other potential customers, they have decided to charge everyone who has a booking in their hotel, in case they change their mind and cancel the booking on the day of check in. Also, We asked for the towels, slippers and etc every day. They didn’t refresh anything in the room until we asked (except the water bottle).

Great place . Really enjoyed the location. Nice and quiet after a hectic busy time in Dubai . Pool, sauna and gym are great . Steak restaurant down stairs is good. There are also some great restaurants within 15 min walk. ( Vietnamese place is amazing )There's a good convenience shop next door as well. Staff were really friendly and professional. Paid for a half day late check out as we had a 10pm flight which was really nice . Breakfast was good , a really professionally run hotel . Thankyou

Spa pools were always only luke warm .
