Gravity Hotel Abu Dhabi

This hotel was exactly what we needed between flights. We got a taxi for 65 AED and the hotel is roughly 15-20 mins away from the airport. The room was big and comfortable. Bathroom was spacious with a big shower. We had half board and ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Dinner was beautiful, got to choose off a 3 course set menu. Breakfast was a buffet with lots of choices including freshly cooked omelets. The staff throughout the hotel are all so lovely, we couldn't fault anything. There are a few places to eat nearby and a convenient store just next door.

I liked everything. However, if you are looking to be close to attractions this probably wouldn't be an ideal location for you. As a stopover, it was perfect for the price considering holiday inn at the airport was double the price.

The staff were extremely friendly at the hotel. The location is about a 20 minute taxi drive from the airport. It is a local neighborhood, which is safe and quiet. I had the breakfast, which was fine, and they prepared fresh eggs to order. Also had a delicious biryani and cold starters for lunch/dinner. Room was very clean, shower wonderful. It is not a luxury hotel-it is however excellent value for money. Review and ranking are based on comparison to hotels of similar price / level.

Perhaps some nice local cheeses on the breakfast buffet. Also hair dryer was not working-they did replace it later in the afternoon but luckily hair was able to dry before my meeting.

We booked this hotel, very early in the year, in advance of the Abu Dhabi GP, and honestly admit, we were merely looking at the price and the location (drivable to Yas Island). However, we were delighted with the hotel and staff. We did not use the hotel facilities much, since we were out all day, but the rooms are large and very well kept and the staff is exceptionally kind and professional. We ordered breakfast in our room a few times, and it was delivered hot and there was a large variety of items. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. We always had a friendly face at reception greeting us, or happy to answer any questions. There was a grocery store right next door, for when we needed to buy stuff, and we had no issues with booking taxis to and from the place.

There is not much to do in the immediate vicinity, so do not stay here if you expect to just walk to a local hotspot or tourist attraction. But it is 20 min away from Yas Island and the airport, and I'm guessing about the same distance to downtown but we didn't go in that direction.

Loved the hotel, the courteous staff and the restaurant. The room was very spacious, with high ceiling, and an A/C that wasn't blowing too cold. The reception desk guys were extremely helpful with any request I had - helped me with directions, calling a cab, even had an electric socket adapter handy that I could borrow and use it to charge my laptop and phone.

The neighbourhood isn't the nicest, but I was there on business and always just took a taxi from outside the hotel. Don't expect it will be a nice walk if you want to stretch your legs in the evening, better to take a taxi to the centre, or to one of the malls (Dharma Mall is close).

Near to Airport: 10-15minutes. Still costs abut 50AED for this short journey (metered taxi). Some restaurants and two malls nearby but maybe the second of which is not walking distance in the hot months at least. Comfortable bed although I didn't sleep as I had an early morning flight. I would certainly stay here again under similar circumstances.

The neighborhood is far from the city center but as a transit hotel, with speedy access to the airport (or if you just want to get away in a subdued venue) it is excellent. For the most part, there was nothing not to like. Be warned that whatever booking.com says, they will ask you to pay at the front-desk. I always carry cash so it was fine for me (but surprising). Your room is not prepaid (if that is a factor e.g. if you are reserving for someone else for whom you want to pay).

The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with modern amenities, ensuring a stay that was both luxurious and relaxing. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, promising a good night's sleep after a tiring day. The attention to detail in the room's design and cleanliness was evident, contributing significantly to my comfortable and restful stay.

The ambiance of the dining area added to the pleasant experience, making it a nice start to the day. A few more choices in the buffet would make it exceptional.

Stayed for one night. Great for solo travelers. Might not be suitable for families. Amazing value Rooms were very nice Great Staff Prayer mats were sanitized and wrapped in plastic Entire floor was filled with carpets

Location. For me it was a bit hard to find during night time. The surrounding area wasn't pleasing to look at. Shower room has a small drain. If you shower more than five minutes the water starts building up around your feet Parking can be limited and difficult. There was staff to assist with my parking. Elevator near the wall was making sounds during motion

The hotel is located otside city center, but it gives you quiet and privacy. It is quite close to the airport (20min by taxi, around 50AED). The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff is supernice, and the food delicious, with both european and more local kitchen available. This is perfect location for one/two-nights stay for people who want good value for small price (as for Abu Dhabi) and want to go for some trips or wait for another flight.

Smells great, looks great and the staff are so professional and extremely friendly! They make guests feel like it’s a home away from home. Excellent quality and selection of food with excellent attention to detail. F&B manager is very experienced and ensures that the food and services meets high expectations. Front end management constantly looks for ways to ensure guests are given the best results. Even the cleaning staff are friendly and thorough!

Parking is limited but staff make sure to do their best to provide it to guest. The manager even gave up his space for me once just to ensure I had a place to park! These guys are great!

The room felt very high quality in its design, decoration, and cleanliness, and the distance from the airport felt pretty reasonable (most of the drive seemed to be the long airport road). I wish I could always afford a place like this when I have an overnight stop!

The view out the windows was just construction, but I was only there overnight, didn’t even see sunlight between checkin and checkout, so it’s not like I was lounging by the windows wishing for a view. I did wish for a softer bed, but that’s true for me at pretty much every hotel ever.
