Yas Island Rotana Abu Dhabi

Location is great so convienient to everything

That two of the resteruants were closed and new building going up next door so was bit noisey at night

The breakfast is really nice, variety of choice. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They gave us a plug adapter since most plugs in the room are of eu standard (think of it in advance), and a band aid when I hurt my leg with a new shoe. The cleaning service guys are exceptionally polite and attentive, too. We also ordered a safari toor at the concierge counter. The hotel also has a free spa zone that includes a sauna and a jacuzzi, we did enjoy it. Josef at the counter was most helpful of all.

I haven't been informed that the hotel grants free entries to the Yas beach club so we paid full price there. A few plugs in the room didn't work at all.

Great location with a great view of the Yas Marina Circuit from our room. There are other hotels in the complex with a free shuttle bus around Yas Island attractions which makes it easy to get around. All staff were polite and friendly. Great service from the waiting staff. The Rangoli indian restaurant is one of the best I've been to for Indian food. Rooms were clean and comfortable and serviced daily.

There was construction next on a site next to the hotel but it did not ruin our experience. The cot provided for a baby was too small. All hotels should consider having large cots for elder/larger babies. There were too many rules and restrictions in the kids play area; more than I have seen or experienced elsewhere. Generally, our stay was pleasant.

The facilities were excellent including the outside pool, sauna / jacuzzi. We booked the premier room so had an excellent view of the W hotel, Ferrari world and Yas Marina circuit. The staff in the concierge were very friendly and always willing to help in answering questions, particularly Asgar and Sadat. Excellent Yas Circuit Shuttle which runs regularly from the hotel which goes around all the key points of interest (Ferrari World, Sea World, Walt Disney, Yas Mall etc.). The restaurants in the hotel were excellent particularly Rangoli - great staff and lovely food for Vegetarians too (incl. Jains).

A few things: 1) There is a new building being constructed adjacent to the Rotana so the drilling and trucks coming in/out sound was coming through in our room at around 6am. 2) The breakfast was okay (good assortment of breads, salads, cereal, standard English breakfast), but the choices for vegetarian could have been better considering there were many chefs at hand preparing omelettes etc. It would have been nice if there was someone preparing fresh dosas, for example. 3) There were three adults in the room (extra bed provided), but we had to request the hospitality staff everyday to provide us with all the stuff for the third person (towel, refreshments etc).

room was clean, very tidy, the hotel was very close to the airport and very close(7mins drive) to the YAS mall/ warner brothers, Ferrari world, etc.. the food was amazing, we ate peperoni pizza, margerita pizza, club sandwish and fries ( i asked how big is the fries box, they said its for 1 person, i didnt want to order more so i ordered just one and to my surprise they sent 2 and charged me for 1 , that was nice. loved the place and the staff.

nothing major, i ordered a Mexican beer (beer + lemon and salt) they didn't know what was that so they sent me a beer with lemon slices on the side and salt, nothing else.

The room was perfect for family with todler, have some great restaurants, and room service food was great + happy hour 3-9 although breakfast was ok could have more option. Parking is in basement and lift has direct access to the room floors. Yas beach complimentary access was amazing, highly recommended, especially as the pool in the hotel is not the biggest. Location is perfect for our purpose which was to visit emirates park zoo, waterworld and yas mall.

AC was terrible, having difficulty to control the room temperature to our liking throughout our stay. We shouldve mentioned it to the staff and tried to get it fixed but we didnt as we have 2 years old that we rather not disturb which will cause more pain :D

This hotel exceeded our expectations. 3 staff members in particularly were incredibly kind and helpful. The breakfast was the best selection I've ever seen. The pool was great, along with swim up bar but not huge. Access for free to the Yas Beach was good but the beach itself was not nice and the pool there too. Don't go there. Free shuttle that goes around to all the attractions is great. Rooms were amazing and clean. Outlook from rooms was not amazing but fine.

Airport Shuttle was confusing and not easy to understand or get. Don't stay here thinking you'll get an easy airport shuttle.

Room was spacious, well maintained and good view. All staff very polite and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with such a wide variety of delicious food to enjoy from the buffet. Excellent service with making of fresh coffees and teas. Pool was excellent too- plenty of sunbeds to relax on, staff very helpful, pool size great for a relaxing swim. Jacuzzi very warm too.

The outside bar at the hotel had extremely loud music for 3 nights in a row, which kept us awake until 1.30am. It was so loud my daughter had to change her room- this ridiculous loud music caused us all concern and was clearly not acceptable. Hotel staff were informed on several occasions about how loud it was but didn't seem too concerned to assist.

Joseph at reception was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay, he made sure everything was perfect for us. The pool bar man/barista at breakfast (Im so sorry I can’t remember his name) but he was great, so friendly each morning at breakfast and makes a great cocktail! The breakfast selection was fantastic. there are multiple places in the hotel for dinner but we didn’t get to try any as we had a short stay and we’re visiting friends who live near by. Pool and Facilities were lovely. Room was massive and very comfortable, we had a suite. It was brilliant value for money. location was brilliant, 5 mins in a taxi to Yas bay and Yas marina. We could see Ferrari world from our room so that’s also close (we hadn’t time to visit!) it’s also right across the road from the F1 Track, so close we could see people on the track from our balcony! I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend and next time I go back to Abu Dhabi I will be booking to stay here again.

There is some construction going on near by that starts early every morning, this is no reflection on the hotel it’s self as it is un related to them, but if you have young kids/babies that are easily woken I would ask for a room at the other end of the hotel so this wouldn’t be an issue.

Love the kids pool is close to the adult pool, so we don't have to go to another area for that, and super love that there is a pool bar! Great bartender named Junaid made really great-tasting drinks especially the piña colada and mojito and plus we did not expect the pepperoni pizza to taste so good! Mica at the reception gave us the best room and best view - loved that we had a balcony and got to watch racers at Yas Circuit! Though no one came to open the interconnecting door for us but it wasn't a big issue. Thank you for the birthday cake for my son! We came `for his 5th birthday and our first time spending the night in Abu Dhabi so everything was extra special! Love the

That there wasn't any toothbrush available but wasn't a big issue! We just thought that there were going to be disposable ones. It wasn't beachfront.
