First Group La Montagne

The place was clean the location was the best. Everything nearby especially Checkers. I was so thrilled to see it. The first group very near to the beach as well. Very pretty as well. Very good pictures that we took.

The maintenance people are not proactive when you call them. We waited for more than 18hours for our toilet to be fixed that was not really good was not Impressed by their service. The house was smelly because of the toilet we couldn't make breakfast we had to order but we had everything already bought which was unnecessary expenditure because of the smell. We called reception more than x10 times to report they kept on saying he is coming. No water and toilet we couldn't flush. That was a poor service delivery from them

Everything is on the property, and the location is excellent. The generator during load shedding was a huge plus!! The food is amazing and very affordable. The staff were absolutely amazing, so friendly. The Spa was great too, massage was awesome.

They advertised Gluten Free pasta on their website, but when we ordered, they didn't have any.

We had a fantastic view as usual. Service was excellent. Staff are wonderful. Cannot fault these criteria.

The condition of the furniture in the room was not up to scratch. The headboard was in bad condition and needs urgent attention. The bathroom needs attention whereby accessories such as handle on over the bath shower. Parts missing. The ceiling in the bathroom was partially handing open over the bath/shower area. I have to say that all this was reported at reception when leaving.

I liked that the staff accommodated us to offer us a good room

I didnt like the fact , what room booking.com showed us and what room was actually allocated to us was very different and we was allocated the old rooms as apposed to new ones , next please specify room.as this is the second time we booked through booking.com and they gave us old rooms and not as per our booking

The room, the view of the ocean was fantastic. The whole surrounding was magnificent.

The whole time I was there, I was denied access to the internet. What I hated the most was that the problem was reported to two staff members at the reception desk and both lied to me. The promise of the technician looking into the problem was never fulfilled. I was deeply disappointed 💔. The second area I wasn't entirely happy about was the impression that my favorite sport will always come second to the other in that establishment. Other than those two issues, I loved the place 💋👌

The hotel WhatsApp group is an excellent idea, as guests are fully aware of all activities within the day. Perfect view of the beach and pool area from our room. The meals were exquisite and absolutely hit the spot on our taste buds. Staff and servicing team were very friendly and always willing to lend a helping hand. The beds are pure relaxation and stress reliever. La Vita Spa (Melo & Nolly) were very accommodating and presented professionalism.

Live music only on a Friday rather would prefer at least more live entertainment on weekends as well. The shower size was perfect but due to it being a walk-in shower, the water did come out of the shower area as the gradient was not correct

This place is absolutely perfect for families and specifically younger kids. I traveled with my newborn and 3 year old and we found it to be very fitting for kids

The aircon didn't travel all the way into our room... So it was rather hot at night. I also didn't like how the balconies aren't split up... You can walk through other people's balconies so there wasn't much privacy. I didn't enjoy this as a breastfeeding mom. I also came to celebrate my birthday and having a baby recently, I feel it could of been a bit more personalized or special as the property was aware of this. It's the little things that make a difference.

We enjoyed it. The facility is clean and comfortable, and it is good value for money. The place is absolutely amazing. Don't get me started on the beach view, like, omg The place is so amazing at night

The restaurant on the 3rd floor didn't serve us breakfast on time.I think they were short staffed, but that made us run a bit late on our plans for the day. I also noticed that the staff were only serving the white people and us, as the only black people we were left unattended,so with that, we ended up leaving to eat breakfast at a nearby mall.

Good overall management of the resort and brilliant spa service.. Therapists are friendly and make sure that you feel at home. The room was small but perfect for our short stay. The resort is well situated in Ballito and very close to all restaurants and grocery shops. The easy access to the beach is a bonus.

The room was situated close to extraction fans of the resort and it was quite noisy when the windows or slide door were open even at night. The terrace or balcony is not covered so on rainy days you can't use it.

We were delighted with our room, its location and its tiny but functional kitchenette, which we never expected. Also the room was simply but beautifully decorated and the shower was outstanding, with plentiful hot water. We shall definitely be back any time we have to be near the airport.

No tea in the room (only Rooibos). Also, the corridors to the rooms are really old and quite gloomy and run-down. Hence, our delighted surprise when we entered our beautiful room. I hope that the 'back-end' section of the hotel gets a lovely make-over as the rooms have had.
