I stay here regularly for work and the breakfasts are average. Same layout day after day is boring! I don't eat beef or pork so I have to make do with whatever is available yet there are many Indian Butcheries who cater for Chicken or Mutton. On this trip, we decided not to book breakfast so we had breakfast at Gateway at a fraction of the price

The noise from the Clubs around the area is very disturbing. Some guests are also very loud and they make a noise in the passage during the night as well as in the sitting area downstairs. You are attracting many bottom end patrons. U need to upgrade quality of iron and ironing boards please.

The room was spacious, and decoration was very nice. Hotel is in close Proximity to many restaurants

There was no fridge in the room

I liked environment, close to the mall, service was very good, staff was very friendly.

I dd not like the way we open the doors with those clock card like, because I was struggling to open my door, i insert the card nd take long to open. I robed and insert eish ya sometimes its a struggle to open using that card. The ice machine as well, does not release ice it takes time and release one by one, it need to be fixed to work properly, unless if someone go to the bar to ask for the ice.

The privacy and that you allow Mr D to deliver to my room. Many hotels make me come down to reception and most of the time it's a leisure holiday so I'm in my pj's and to come down to reception I will have to go and get dressed properly. Thank you for allowing deliveries to the room.

I didn't like that you don't have a fridge in the room and also that you don't have any good channels on TV, you guys should get more dstv channels.

Excellent location to restaurants and places of attraction . Walking distance. This hotel certainly exceeded my expectations. The rooms were spacious and absolutely spotless. The bedding, linen and towels were squeaky clean and spotless. Beds were so comfortable but pillows were a little low. But we asked for extra and the hotel supplied them courteously. I was very impressed with breakfast...everything you would want in a buffet. Staff was ever to pleasant, friendly and humble. Food was of high quality and even the smoothies were divine. Spacious and clean are 2 things people look for and City lodge ticked those boxes. The price i paid was definitely worth it. Enough free parking for guests is available. Thumbs up to Ciry Lodge . Not a single complaint.

Walking distance to gateway and a view over the active nightlife.

The Room that we stayed in, had a steel blind giving privacy between the bedroom and the bathroom. This steel blind did not close all the way, exposing the bathroom completely. Bit of a inconvenience but did not ruin the stay as the hotel and the room was amazing in every way possible. Great food and helpful staff.

I unfortunately did not have breakfast as i had to catch an early flight, so booked out at 4.30 AM. I must say that i had originally booked via the online website, well this did not go through, i eventually emailed the reservations, in case of them not having received my booking, i booked through booking.com, as this was also a cheaper rate. Otherwise will definitely use City Lodge again, being convenient and close to the airport - also nice to have secure under ground parking. - How do we organise a corporate rate for your hotels?

The location is great - just across the road from Gateway Mall. Windows are sound proof so no noise from outside? Room is a good size. Bed comfortable Breakfast was a plenty to choose from and very nice. All the staff were super nice.

We delayed to check in the system was down we asked the stuff why the don't have second option to check in if there system is down because some of us we booked online we had a proof of booking and payment we wait more than and hour at reception that was not good at all
