Beside Still Waters Boutique Hotel

Upon arrival, was greeted by the most friendly staff. I even got upgraded to a bigger room. The location is great, close to get on the highway, close to the mall, close to the restaurants, wonderful views of the most beautiful garden. The breakfast is AMAZING, and they even have their own coffee truck on site "Gatvol coffee" and it's to die for cuppachinos. I am most definitely staying here on my next visit

I booked here as I saw there was a restaurant on site, but when i got there was told the restaurant is not open for dinner, only breakfast and lunch. It's the most beautiful setting and would be fantastic to have dinner under the starts and fairy lights. Not the biggest issue, as there are great restaurants 2min away. I also had very very noisy neighbours, that definitely didn't take other guests into consideration. I had to ask them to quite it down at 10:30pm, management also asked them to quite down and even the security, but still they chose to do whatever they wanted. The next evening wasn't much better either.... I know this won't always be the case, and if these people weren't there, my stay would have been 10/10

Well your security doesn't have respect for black people which odd cause his black ...I know that we were young people we do obey but acted like we went guest over there

The area is easily accessible with shops around and the restaurant on-site.. Beautiful place with all basic needs in a room except for an iron but had ironing board. Had to ask for a light when had load shedding, nil provided or communicated prior so we plan. We were upgraded to another room as not happy just walking into the first that needed attention..

Manager to please over see the rooms before allowing people in. Check to detail please.

Vegan breakfast was delicious. The cocktails at the bar were great value. Owners and staff super lovely and helpful; were great at checking everything was going well, and I really appreciated the lamp during loadshedding. And that the wifi stayed on! The restaurant was so beautiful and peaceful; a really beautiful decorating job has been done there.

I only wish I could've stayed here longer! The restaurant/bar closed a little early (but it was a Sunday), I would've loved to hang out there a little longer, but really enjoyed the time I had there regardless!

The food was amazing.

The intermittent WiFi and the fact that management takes no responsibility for it. I ended up having to use my own mobile data and I do think management needs to look into the state of the WiFi and improve its coverage. Feels like a deflection that they aren’t responsible for it as their counterparts do account when the WiFi isn’t the greatest. Equally, the no visitors policy needs to be revisited. Charging people even if they don’t sleepover feels punitive and unrealistic.

The garden was absolutely beautiful and the atmosphere of the place was great. The aircon was an excellent addition and a lifesaver. The hotel was clean and very well located.

The tv in our room did not work from day one and we reported it 3 times but was never fixed after we got told it would be. Security to our room (and all other rooms) was compromised after the cleaning staff cleaned our room and left the hotel keys in the door for a whole day.

The hotel has been beautifully upgraded since my last stay, gorgeous gardens, Gatvol coffee awesome, great food and menu, all staff wonderful and owner very accommodating and patient with my questions around events on the premisis, even at 6am! Plus my room was upgraded! Definitely returning again! I may even join the salsa class next time.

Had the best time of our lifes, everything was in order from the minute we arrived we were warmly welcomed and went straight to our room accompanied by one of the hotel ushers who made us feel at home. The room had a fresh mind relaxing feeling and the food was fresh and excellently prepared. The place made our vacation very special and worth every minute. There's no place like Beside still waters boutique hotel, I loved every minute of being around people who seemed to care and love serving and delivering only the best.

We loved the hotel, its setting, the gardens and the warm and friendly staff. It is a very welcoming and peaceful environment. The gardens and restaurant area are delightful and we spent many happy hours enjoying both the food, the staff and the setting.

There was an unpleasant guest next to us who complained unnecessarily.
