Florida Park Hotel, Florida Road

probably the most comfortable bed that I have slept on in a very long time. great location too.

The hotel is not very sound proof and corridors can become echo chambers with early morning staff or hotel guests moving around. the rooms also smelt a little like the “butchers block below” as the rooms at the back are on top of the restaurant extractor fan.

What a wonderful experience that exceeded my expectations. Great location with free secure parking. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming especially Malusi the reception manager...what a fantastic host who went out of his way and made me smile from the moment I walked in. The rooms are very spacious and the bathrooms are also huge by standards. It's not over the top in terms of decor but everything is spotlessly clean and the rooms are serviced every day. The bed was large and comfortable and I would definitely stay there again. It also brought back fond memories of the Hotel California it replaced with the much frequented Bonkers Bar downstairs which I was a regular patron of in the early 90s.

Really couldn't fault it for anything.

The excellent service by staff who were friendly and exceptional at communication. The facilities were exactly what you needed and efficient enough within the price of what you're paying for. A huge plus is the close proximity of the hotel to points of interest in and around Durban, use of Uber and walking was cost efficient and safe.

Better soundproofing due to the location of the hotel close to busy nightlife. Better upkeep of furniture and infrastructure as tables, cupboards and chairs had multiple scratches and/or damages.

Wifi Breakfast Bed was big n nice

I didn't like the fact that people from the pub came to the parking lot n make noise around midnight... There's also a bin Whre they throw their empty bottles it's noisy. The was no shower carpet on the floor. We booked for 2 people but most of the thing were for one person.

Firstly we received such a warm welcome from the gentleman at Reception, he was supper cool. Very Helpful willing to answer any questions I had.

I can't fault about anything would recommend the place to anyone. Its clean, within reach of transport, they provide Parking. It is surrounded by good restaurants and fast food shops.

It is close to many restaurants and all a walking distance. It's close to the City/ICC. I didn't have to wait long for the transport/Uber to my destinations.

A bit of noise from outside at night but didn't disturb me much. The shower in my room was blocking (but wasn't a big deal).

I didnt have any high expectations and was simply looking for a room close to my event. Turns out the room was fantastic, great staff, clean and very comfortable. Bed was amazing - thank you !

Nothing to mention. Be prepared for it to be a little noisy on Florida Road but this didnt go on too late.

the location was great, it was close to all my meetings and my clients.... restaurants and coffee shops are allover the place... security of the hotel was top notch... Breakfast was adequate for the price one paid ...parking was very secured.... fridge in the room so I cold keep my water cold.... overall this is a VERY good hotel....

there is nothing that I did not like....

the location was close to all necessary amenities. easy access to the beach which really awesome. safe parking and visible security. close to all food outlets and restaurants. the humidity has been a challenge however the air conditioning was a great great help. 5 star on that.

there isn't good ventilation in the hall ways and designated rooms for smoking clients shhould be on the list.

Friendly staff, convenient location

The aircon didn't work and it was very hot. Told staff after check in but someone only arrived the evening after. Technician then said that aircons don't work when it is hot.
