City Garden Grand Hotel

The staff is extremely nice. The rooms are near perfect.

There were parties on other floors of the hotel lasting until nearly 6am on the weekends. The booming music kept us awake.

Our stay at the City Grand Hotel was just brilliant. The service, ambience, location and amenities are all top class and on the same level you would expect from much more expensive hotels making it excellent value for money. The rooms are large, clean and modern with fantastic views over Makati and the rooftop pool and Firefly restaurant are a fantastic place to relax, drink and eat. We stayed with our two children and the warmth in which the staff interacted with us and our kids was very touching. Special mention to Josh in the lobby who always went out of his way to entertain and play with our 2 year old! Highly recommend the City Garden Grand Hotel as it’s one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in Manila.

The hotel staff was very friendly and supportive, especially, Janine made our check-in hassle-free and upgraded us to a better room with a better view. The whole stay became very comfortable because of her this gesture. The first interaction sets your perspective towards observing the hotel's facilities. We started looking at everything positively and found everything up to the mark. The location is absolutely perfect, Halal food is available right outside the hotel. The pool alone is worth the value. The housekeeping staff, Geramie was very fast and perfect at the job. Will only stay at this hotel, whenever i travel to Manila.

City Garden Grand Hotel is a great choice for anyone who wants to experience the best of Makati. The hotel is located in a convenient area, close to many shops, restaurants, and nightlife spots. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with modern amenities and stunning views of the city. The staff are friendly, helpful, and professional, and they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I used the rooftop pool, a fitness center and restaurant. The restaurant that serves delicious food and has amazing night time views. I enjoyed every moment of my stay at City Garden Grand Hotel, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who visits Manila. It is truly a world-class hotel with excellent service.

The staff are very helpful, welcoming and friendly in every area of the hotel. Special mention to Justin and the guys on the front door, excellent at procuring taxis in rush hour! The Firefly bar on the top floor has a relaxing vibe at any time of day and night, and is a good place to arrange informal meetings with business partners.

There can be quite a wait to get a lift! Only three lifts for a hotel of this size is not really adequate. The food at Firefly is OK but not exceptional, and one of my meals arrived lukewarm : explanation was that it had been prepared on the 31st floor. Otherwise - all good

Our room was stunning, the view from the 27th floor and all glass was unbelievable, we loved it. Was clean and minimal, bed was huge, maybe to huge, was 2 double together, we would have been happy even with half of it but still, we really appreciate it. The restaurant food was nice, we had only a little trouble because my bf couldn't eat spicy at that time and was not mention on the menu however the manager change the dish straight away and remove the other dish form the bill. Thank you 🙏🏼

The pool was on the 32th floor with an amazing view, however we didn't feel to try it, probability because a bit small and next to the restaurant. One thing we didn't like to much was that to have some toiletteries you should have call someone.

The property is in a good location in a safe part of town. Rooms are nice and clean and spacious. It has a nice restaurant and pool over looking the city on the 32nd floor. We had a late flight so stored our baggage and had massage at the spa which was very good, allowing us to shower after to remove the oils and freshen up.

The airport transfer / shuttle. The hotel doesn’t actually have one but offers a ridiculously expensive taxi option for 1,300 pesos. This was a 1/3 of the price of our room for the night! Instead use the Grab app and get the same fair for 300 pesos (in rush hour too)! For the Grab app you will need a local phone number/SIM which can easily be bought at the airport on arrival and is also great for travelling the Philippines.

It’s near the Metro. The hotel has big rooms which i liked the most because i had enough space for my luggages. Staff was also helpful and courteous. They also make the beds everyday and bring new towels.

I did not like the rooftop restaurant. I would rate it 1 out of 10, very poor service! it took them forever to serve our food, the fruit platter that we ordered was disgusting, fruits were very soggy/overripe, the mango was very sour! The server kept apologizing but i think that’s the most he can do😬 He kept saying that they don’t have enough staff that’s why everything was so slow. Stayed for 6days and they never cleaned the room and the bathroom. They only make beds and change the towels. They should have at least mopped the floor. The parking attendant had a very rude attitude. When we asked what was his name. no one wanted to say his name. they knew that we were going to complain about this rude attendant.

This is the second time I stayed at this hotel in January 2023 the shower is very powerful maybe the best hotel shower I had breakfast was amazing many many choices for all nationality staff members are fantastic housekeeper great at breakfast every members of staff are very attentive this hotel staff are some òf the best I have seen always greet you with a lovely smile and help in every way they can nothing is too much for them

After my second visite in January 2023 I can honestly say there is nothing negative about this hotel

The service & the staff are very attentive & sweet. especially at the cafe and housekeeping. My coffee order would be remembered each time I went for breakfast. They would do their best to accommodate. I like the little note you get from hotel as you arrive. ‘Welcome home your room was prepared by…’ with the person’s name’ I thought it was a sweet touch. I had a great massage from Cherish at my Hotel room & a again Cherish gave me a hot stone massage at the La Famosa Spa. The spa it’s self is not very fancy, it has simple rooms but the treatment was worth it and the pricing is very reasonable. Tip, if you take up any of the treatments make sure you have cash.

FireFly restaurant service could be better, when you walk in they don’t give you a menu or ask you if you would like to order a drink, you need to ask for it. we dinned there a couple of times, on these occasions it wasn’t busy. the waitresses would just stand there. Food is good though.
