Hotel is on the edge of Casco Viejo. Great area for food, rooftop bars and history of Panama City. Rooms were bigger than expected, good facilities in the room, we had a nice little balcony which backed on to the 'unsafe' area of the neighborhood as people have already mentioned in reviews. Great restaurant/bar downstairs and front desk are great for recommendations, always friendly and helpful.

It was fairly noisy at night especially with dogs barking all night from the poorer neighbourhood which the hotel backs on to, but otherwise that it was fine. Aircon wasn't very good and ceiling fan was very noisy and made a ticking sound, so had to turn off at night. Lighting in the room at night is ambient only so hard for make-up but again not really a big deal.

Location. Shared large balcony Room v vvv well equipped: fridge, microwave, glasses etc. friendly welcoming staff. Felt like home from home. Bar and restaurant on site Very friendly and welcoming staff who remember your name and room number.

Room was not serviced or bed made in the 4 nights I stayed. I know I could have asked. I was slightly surprised to be told that staff did not go into rooms if guest was out. I did ask for toilet paper bin To be emptied after 2 days. Room very well equipped. Fridge, microwave, crockery etc. would have been nice to have a comfortable chair. There were 2 plastic dining chairs. However overall I loved staying at las Clementinas and would stay there again.

Great location and relatively large accommodation for family of 4. Very good / handy attached garden restaurant and great views of the city from the roof (but wish the rooftop bar was functional). They have a very good tour guy (Luis) who took us on a surprisingly good eco tour of the canal and Gatun Lake for far below internet prices. Recommended. Overall, I really loved Panama City old town. Fantastic restaurants, bars and good vibe. Yet very easy to get into the surrounding jungle.

It was all pretty good. I guess the a/c could do with an upgrade. It struggled to really cool the room but did sufficiently ok.

I liked the location of the hotel in historical Casco Viejo, as we could walk out our door and be in the most fascinating part of Panama City. The hotel's restaurant is convenient and excellent. The room was spacious and recently renovated with a large fridge, excellent linens, coffee, wine glasses, comfortable beds and a well appointed bathroom. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Accessing our room was a bit challenging as we had to carry our suitcases up steep, narrow cement steps (other rooms in the hotel didn't have to do this). We were straight across from a noisy, poorer housing development and we didn't want to use our balcony because we felt like we were intruding on their space.

Location was excellent, easily walkable to all restaurants, bars and shops. Felt very safe, lots of other tourists walking the streets. however awe heard very little street noise from our room. The rooms are beautifully decorated, large rooms with high ceilings. While this one did not have a kitchen, it had all crockery and cutlery needed including a microwave and fridge. The best aspect of the room was the direct access to the sun balcony with the beautiful garden views, while it is a shared area, we had it all to ourselves. Staff are lovely and very accommodating, we left our large luggage there for 4 nights while we went to Bocas del Toro. The restaurant downstairs had great food, we ate there twice because it was just so easy.

Nothing, would stay again.

Step back in time and enjoy the charm of years gone by; Las Clementinas was a joy from check-in to check-out. The Casco Viejo area of the city offered beautiful architecture and the hotel was. Wry much in this mould. The wonderfully appointed rooms and comfortable furnishings meant for a perfect stay and the staff could not have made us feel more welcome. The adjoining restaurant, Maholo offered varied breakfast options in a pleasant setting.

Nothing - if you like a hotel with character then this is for you!

Gorgeous building right in the heart of Casco Viejo. We loved the location for its proximity to restaurants and shopping. The hotel provided a driver to pick us up and the airport. We loved our large suite. There was a nice kitchen with coffee and bottled water. Great shower and comfortable bed (although we prefer a king sized bed vs. a queen). We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the attached restaurant. Again, can't beat the location.

Since it was in the heart of the old town and near bars, it was very noisy at night and into the wee hours of the morning. We used our white noise on our phones to try to drown out the bass and noise. Bring earplugs and white noise.

The location of the hotel was fabulous. You're right in the heart of the action in Casco Viejo. You can easily walk to restaurants, cafés, and historic landmarks. The hotel includes a bar and outdoor restaurant, which were both delightful. The staff answered all of our questions and were very professional. The washroom was modern with a huge shower and large mirror. Make sure to walk up all the stairs to enjoy the awesome rooftop views.

On Saturday night we experienced a noise problem. The bars and nightclubs were open until at least 4 am, and we could hear the music thumping the entire time. In addition, our room gave onto a side street where there were always people hanging out. This required us to keep the blinds closed for the duration of our trip. This issues is isolated to the individual room that we stayed in.

Our suite was HUGE. On the top floor with 3 balconies. Comfortable furniture. Double-pane windows kept the incredible noise outside to a tolerable level. They party loudly till at least 11 PM every night. The brm fan was plenty adequate to cool the room at night. Much more pleasant than the loud air con. Kit not well stocked: 1 pot only, no salt, etc. Good workout going up 4 flights of stairs! (No elevator). Hotel threw a quincienera party one night outside which was fun to listen to (even through the soundproof windows, and only lasted until 11:00. Restaurant and bar are very pleasant. Good drinks. Food OK. Location is excellent! Would go back for sure. Try REstaurant EnKai for great Japanese and Peruvian food. Japanese chef.

great location near all interesting places in Casco Viejo. Nice, spacious apartment, well decorated and equipped. Staff was super nice.

value for money wise, I found it not great/bad. if you are a family, perhaps it makes sense because it is not a "double room", instead much more like a 1-bedroom apartment with a big living room. But given the lack of a nice view, no breakfast or room service (in the sense of making the beds, not referring to meals) included, I found the price too steep for a couple vs. other options.
