The location in Casco Antigo is excellent. The rooms were clean and the air conditioning worked well. Showers had nice water pressure although one evening there was no hot water. The staff were helpful in answering questions about practicalities of getting around in Panama City. We stayed at this hotel 3 times, using it as our base when we returned to Panama City from trips to the coast and Boquete.

The rooftop bar/club is not an issue during the week but the weekends the music is very loud (like all of Casco Antiguo) and if you are on the first floor, you will hear huge thuds on your ceiling at 2am as furniture is being moved around.

Nice rooms in industrial style. I liked the courtyard style set up of the hotel. Fairly central location in Casco. There is a restaurant on the facility and the famous rooftop bar. Both do very good food. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly.

The rooftop bar is - as everyone commented on- very loud. We knew and booked it despite that. But even with ear plugs I struggled. And I underestimated how stressful it can be to constantly listen to it … even when your are not sleeping.

the rooms are really nice,spacious and very comfortable. they provide cold water at the entrance which is a nice gesture. the beds are comfortable and the toilets are great too. the staff was very friendly and helpful. there is a restaurant in the rooftop that is not part of the hotel but it’s super nice, with amazing staff and great view so we could have dinner there when we arrived.

it was quite humid, the entrance gets very hot because it’s open air so there is no common space where the guests can hang out that is comfortable. one of our rooms is directly to the street, so we could hear quite loud people talking just leaning on our outside wall, and on the window that is closed so we cannot see outside. none of the rooms (we got 2 rooms downstairs) had any windows, which made it quite dark overall.

The Resturant valet next door will keep your car for the day and night for $5. This was very convenient because parking isn't easy to find in town.

The Fire Safety Systems were not adequately maintained. Fire Alarm Panel was in constant alarm during my multiple stays. The alarms weren't going off. But the Fire alarm panel had reported a smoke in a room had been in alarm. Multiple troubles reported to the alarm panel. The sprinkler system hadn't been properly installed to test correctly. Obviously the city doesn't take fire safety very seriously. Because throughout my visit in the city multiple buildings had similar issues.

They gave me an upgrade, the room was small but very nicely decorated, with a mini fridge, safe and complimentary coffee, tea and water. The bed was really comfy and the TV with Netflix was very useful. The bathroom had everything you would need and it was super clean. The staff was also great!!

There's a rofftop club and you feel like it's right next to your room because the windows are thin and not airtight. Also, it's in a very busy street and people in Panama love honking, so noise all day round. I just put on my ear plugs and could sleep.

The location is just perfect if the idea is to be close to Casco Viejo. My room was really beautiful and comportable and, even though I read some people complaining about noise here, there was none! The wifi was working perfectly and I loved the fact that there was netflix in the room. The staff is friendly and helpful. I was able to leave my bags there after check-in for many hours. Lastly, they gave me a discount for breakfast in a nearby café that I strongly recommend!

I stayed in this hotel for one night, which was the night I arrived in Panama from Scotland. I had no issues with the room, the staff or the facilities. The bathroom and shower were great, great temperature control in the shower. There was also a fridge and safe in the room. It is a great location for accessing Casco Viejo, plus it is pretty easy to get an Uber or taxi safely from Casco Viejo into Panama City.

The only issue I had with the room was the bedroom door, which would not close securely if you pushed it with just a slight bit of force. There was another outer door to keep all the rooms secure, which was great, but my only issue was that my room did not feel secure. Otherwise, I had no other issues.

The hotel has an awesome rooftop bar that gives guests 20% discount. The food was really good. be warned though it does get load especially if you in the bedrooms below it. It didn’t bother me because I was so jet lagged. I think there are quieter rooms but best to ask. Seriously this hotel is so charming in a prime location. The rooms are sustainably decorated and the bed was soooo comfortable. They also gave me a breakfast discount voucher at a near by diner…seriously good food.

The location was excellent, close to Casco Viejo. The rooftop restaurant was very convenient and had a great view, and you got a 20% discount for staying in the hotel. The hotel is in an old building that had rock walls and concrete floors, so the ambience was very interesting.

The drapes were a little worn. The pool was a neat feature, but it was small and we didn't use it; we were more interested in sightseeing, but I would use it if I were staying more than one night on a hot day.
