Intercontinental Miramar Panama, an IHG Hotel

Out of three hotels we stayed on Panama City this one was our favourite. It was spacious, comfortable, bed was absolutely amazing, we fell asleep immediately in it (I normally have trouble changing beds), room was clean and staff was really helpful and courteous. We absolutely loved the hotel. Breakfast buffet was ok and staff working there was also really helpful and unobtrusive but at service. Location is central, our room had really nice view on Pacific, location is close to the malls and Casco Vijeo. As most of the hotel rooms in Panama they could use a bit of maintenance but all in all we loved our stay in hotel and wish we actually stayed longer there.

We booked 1 night with a late check-out and the hotel upgraded us to a nice suite. This was a nice surprise, especially because now our son could sleep in a separate room. Staff were extremely friendly and remembered our son's name. The buffet dinner was very nice and the swimming pool is very spacious and has a bath for young children.

Not much to complain. Perhaps the choice of food for breakfast was less than I expected for such a hotel. Nevertheless it tasted great and wouldn't stop me from visiting again.

Location was great. Right location for everything we needed to explore.

Breakfast was included in the hotel stay which was nice. My only complaint was the waffle iron kept sticking each day. I tried to explain to the staff that some type of oil or cooking spray needed to be applied to the waffle iron. The staff insisted this was not the issue but instead added more cooking oil each time to the waffle badder. Ugggh

The rooftop pool (floor 20) has been closed for quite some time, but the pictures are still posted in the booking ad. It was one of the reasons I chose to enjoy the last sunny day in Panama and it is a possibility that no longer exists at the hotel. The breakast it's too expensive (23$ per person)

I really enjoyed my stay here! The room was nice and had an incredible view of the ocean and parts of the city. I was working remotely during my 4-day stay and in Zoom calls all day long. The wifi was incredible and I never had a single issue with the internet. The breakfast was superb, and the restaurant food for lunch/dinner/room service was surprisingly excellent! Location is nice and within walking distance to various restaurants, bars, shopping.

The only reason for not giving the hotel a 10 is because the staff wasn't really friendly. They weren't unfriendly, but they just never spoke to me, greeted me, or interacted with me at all unless I asked them for something. Just wasn't particularly warm. But I would definitely stay again.

The room was absolutely amazing - huge with sweeping views. The location was also fabulous, right on the water within walking distance of shops, restaurants, next to a beautiful park.

The breakfast was okay - it was buffet style and didn't have the best selection/tended to be messy. The staff were great through. The pool was okay, nothing special.

Great location, beautiful hotel, very helpful and friendly staff. We stayed in room 1011, which was very pleasant. The housekeeper Maria did an excellent job cleaning up. We would definitely stay at Intercontinental again.

The room was great, but needs to be maintained better. Very noticeable nicks in furniture and tile, and shower grout looked grungy and should be replaced. White is not the best choice for upholstered furniture.

Pool could be a little bit hot I had to ask for water for a lot of days I think food is expensive, pretty good, but very expensive I was not allowed to take dinner to my room (I did not like that at all) Based on the pictures I thought there was a rooftop but there was no any

This hotel was in a great location. Central to everything. Fantastic view of the ocean. Large comfortable room. large pool with additional shallow area for small kids. Very good breakfast buffet. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful.

The hotel was older and in need of updating.

The location of the hotel is very nice , directly on the sea. From the hotel all destiantions are easy to acces . The rooms are comfortable .

there are only 2 elevators for so many guests, thats why it comes sometimes for long waiting times to come to your room .
