The breakfast was terrific, choice of American style, continental style, Norwegian style or everything altogether. There was so much food and eye appeal that it was almost impossible not to overeat, (so I did not try). Our room overlooked the harbor and a sculpture of a glacier that changed position with tide. The most important thing was the location. Located almost in the Oslo main train station, it was a short walk to one's room. There was a number of local busses, and tram lines that were equally accessible. If one is using an Oslo pass, this is the place to stay.

Excellent location right at the doorstep of the Oslo train station with easy access to local trains, buses, airport train and cross country trains. central location in city centre and can walk to most sites. Staff were friendly and very helpful with 24/7 reception. Comprehensive breakfast served in the Egon restaurant and the restaurant was open New Year’s Day. Reception area has chess and games with good gym.

Rooms are a bit small and the family room didn’t have much space to walk around the beds considering there were 4 people staying in one room. But the rooms were clean and the beds are comfortable.

Stayed one night in a Family room with one big bed and one bunk bed looking towards the fjord. It was clean and bright. Breakfast selection was plenty. There were chess set and shuffle board free for hotel guests in the common area at lobby. Lots of comfy sitting places in the lobby. located in a mall, with convenient restaurants, cafes etc. central location right next to Oslo station and with convenient tram and bus connections.

Room is not so spacious, not so convenient if you have big suitcases.

Location is excellent, in the city centre at the railway station within a big shopping mall. Most of the sights including Domkirke and the Opera are only a few minutes walk away. Public transport is all around. Very good breakfast. Modern, comfortable room with high ceiling.

Be early for breakfast to secure a window seat. The tables on the inside of the restaurant are in a rather dark corner. At times there is not enough space to accommodate all guests at breakfast time. When arriving by train you may feel lost in the shopping mall. The entrance of the hotel is inside the mall between Bamboo Sushi and Egon restaurant.

Excellent central location with great family room (double & bunk beds for 2 children). Very friendly staff. Parking available in shopping centre basement car park.

You can't access hotel from basement car park. (for good safety & security reasons. ). Must go to next level in shopping centre and come back down escalator. But managed to work this out OK. Shopping centre car park felt a little unsafe on first arrival. But hotel parking on right hand side felt safer. Great to have city centre parking (at reduced rate through hotel)

Ideal location for public transportation and being in the heart of downtown. Comfortable bed and pillows. Very good breakfast buffet without being over the top. No air-conditioning but able to open window and table fan in room. Was nice to have a to-go breakfast for the day of our 5 am departure. Request at Front Desk the day before.

A little difficult to locate the hotel as you try to find your way out of the train station or shopping mall. Though reservation info does tell you where the main entrance is located. Had booked a Standard Double which seemed on the small side, but apparently that is the norm for that room category.

Great location for our train oriented needs, efficient rooms, Emily at the front desk was just lovely and helpful, breakfast is delicious and the restaurant it’s in is very atmospheric. They kindly stored our luggage while we overnighted in Gudvangen after the Flåm railroad/fjord cruise, which certainly made life easier. I was very glad we came in to the hotel at the station as our train was delayed until quite late coming in.

Really good use of space (and yes, I’m familiar with European hotel rooms) but the rooms are reallllly small. When you get put in a “family room” with two bunks it takes away pretty much any walking space. (Although, gotta say, the kids—18, 20, and 22–kinda loved the bunks, even though they had actually booked a double.) Some of the gentlemen at the front desk were fairly…brusque in responding not just to us but to other guests that we saw. Impatience isn’t really the best look for front desk at a transportation hub hotel.

Excellent location especially if you are arriving by train since it is located within the main station, nonetheless, it was clean , quiet and modern. They had a free self laundry service that was an added bonus for us. If we were passing through Oslo again, I would definitely stay here again

Everything was fine .

The location is excellent for travel purposes as it is so close to the central train station. Breakfast was very good with a lot to choose from and of good quality, but the restaurant is very busy so you have to go early. The room was mostly good but not as clean when I arrived as expected. It was a little dusty on the floor in the corners. But overall it was clean and neat. It would have been nice if there was a cupboard space. But since it was a more economy room it had most facilities needed. You have to ask for a fan if you want to use one. Everything else is there that is stated on their website. The coffee cups are are a little small but adequate. I think that it was overall a good room for what I paid for. The breakfast was included too. I was impressed when some of the staff went out of their way to help and made my onward travel much easier. Thank you!

When I asked for a fan in my room the staff member on that shift didn't seem to understand that it was an item I could request if needed. I had to explain that it was even advertised under my room description. But they did send up a fan to my room without hassle. I prefer a coffee mug that is a bit bigger, but they did provide coffee sachets and all needed to make coffee or tea. It would have been better if there wasn't some dirt & dust in the corners by the head of the bed, as it was a bit off putting to have to clean it myself. But overall the room was very clean and well-presented. I don't expect perfect.

Location fabulous. The staff were helpful and agreed to change my room for o E with a bath.

My tour company booked it for convenience and so I bought an extendex day but at top rates last year. The breakfast cafe was rather chaotic. I don't like toiletries on the wall in 4 stars and would have liked a minibar and bath.
