Hotel Post Gries

Hey there! So, let me tell you about my awesome experience at Hotel Post Gries in Bolzano. This place definitely exceeded my expectations! First off, let's talk about the room. It was simply marvelous. Not only was it super clean, but it also had this fresh vibe to it that made me feel instantly relaxed. The attention to detail was on point, and I couldn't have asked for a more comfortable stay. Now, let's talk about the location. Man, oh man, it couldn't have been any more perfect! Hotel Post Gries is smack dab in the city center, making it super convenient to explore Bolzano. Plus, getting to all the key points of interest in the city was a breeze. I mean, who doesn't love easy access to everything? But you know what really sets this place apart? The staff! They were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to go the extra mile to ensure I had a fantastic stay. Whether it was recommending the best local restaurants or helping me navigate the city, their hospitality was top-notch. Overall, I can't recommend Hotel Post Gries enough. The pristine room, the ideal location, and the outstanding staff all combined to create an unforgettable experience. If you're planning a trip to Bolzano, do yourself a favor and book a stay here. Trust me, you won't regret it!

Hotel is located a short taxi ride away from the main railway station and the town centre but Gries has excellent bus connections to the town and (for stays of 2+ nights) a local travel/discount card is included in the room price. .The room was spacious and very comfortable. The walk-in shower was excellent. The breakfast buffet was varied and of good quality. Reception staff were friendly and very helpful.

We loved our stay at Hotel Post Gries. We could easily find our way around town by using the public transport and walking. We were also able to decide spontaneously each morning if we were to join for breakfast. The breakfast had a huge variety of all the needed components and a delicious cappuccino. Everything was prepared fresh and we can highly recommend this hotel. The Bolzano city cards are awesome and allows you to save plenty of money!

We stayed for two nights. The room was clean and quiet, with comfortable beds, clean towels, shampoo, and soap. Everything that we needed. Breakfast was great and tasty, with various options including vegetables and fruits. Sometimes the WiFi had a bad connection, but overall sufficient. Helpful staff and as a bonus we received Bolzano Bozen Card. The city center is close; you can choose by bus, bicycle or walk.

The room was pretty neat. The cleaning staff would ask you your preferred time so as not to disturb you while resting. The free bike service was really awesome. Really liked the historic vibe mixed with the modern touches of the hotel. The breakfast was really healthy. Tons of fruits and bio yogurts. A wide selection of Prosciuttos and cheese alongside different sweets and cookies. The recieption was super responsive.

The staff were friendly and the room was clean. The breakfast was simple but good enough for us.

The room was quite small for a family, it was a bit of a walk (10 mins) to town which was no issue for us. Parking is not guaranteed. We had street parking where available. The hosts advised there was a parking garage nearby however they believed it was already full.

Very nice place with welcoming personel and a great restaurant. It's a bit of a walk to the city center, but it's a nice stretch. Parking in a very nearby parking garage, which is an absolute must in Bozen/Bolzano. Very nice restaurant, but unfortunately closed over the weekend outside the main season. All rooms seem to have airco.

Breakfast is OK, but there absolutely should be more than one coffee machine, as there is alway a queue in front of it. The prices are pretty steep and not really appropriate for the size and comfort of the room.

A rather small but nice single room with air conditioning. Everything was very clean. The hotel is close to the city centre. The hotel has a garage for motorcycles and bicycles, which is free of charge. Tasty breakfast with a sufficient choice of dishes.

No refrigerator in the room. Extra cost for breakfast.

The location was great as a starting point for going in to the dolomites. The restaurant was good and the bolzano card we got was brilliant. The room was a good size and clean.

The church bells are pretty loud in the morning-not the hotels fault but not great if you want a lie in

Everything! The room was perfect and the location as well. The room wasn't too small, toilet with bidet, a small desk and chair.

Only drawback was the impossibility to use the air conditioning system to warm up the room after coming back to the hotel at night. It must be said it wasn't really cold and the heating turns up automatically early in the morning.
