B&B Hotel Bolzano

This B&B is situated ideally for onward travel; only a few minutes from the motorway (Brenner A22). It is one of those more modern (anonymous) blocks for travellers. Having said that, it must also be mentioned that the hotel is absolutely fine, with modern furnishings, a comprehensive set of vending machines (including micro-wave meals with 2 appliances) and offers breakfast (which looked good but we did not try out). The staff were helpful and friendly and explained that although there was a bus service (see details) there was a very enjoyable 3km walk into town along the river bank. She was right - but could also have mentioned the bikes for hire which we missed!). The room was clean and tidy as would be expected and the bathroom spacious - not a pre-fab cubicle. All in all, a comfortable well-equipped hotel.

The staff were great, so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a good mix of sweet and savory, and I thought was worth the money. Rooms were clean and simple, with decent WiFi, and the shower pressure was good. I had never heard of this hotel brand before but was impressed!

The hotel is located roughly an hour’s walk to the central station - not a problem if you have a car or you like walking, which we do, but it just added time to checking out the city centre.

Excellent value for the money, a very comfortable hotel with new, clean and advanced facilities, a bit off the center but with vast free parking. Usually very helpful staff and very convenient food and drink machines at the lobby.

Breakfast was OK, a bit basic but sufficient. However, the staff overseeing it should be increased since when some products (eggs, cheese, etc.) were finished in the busiest hours (around 8-9 am), it took much time until they were refilled.

Staff were very helpful, she gave us directions for a place to eat but it was late and parking was bad so we came back and got two freezer meals which was the best frozen pasta meal we’ve ever eaten! It was air conditioned and the room was comfortable- it was two single beds pushed together but we didn’t care after two weeks of camping in the scorching Italian heat. Comfy place, great staff- it was everything we needed!

Turn off was hard to spot, we missed it the first time.

Excellent value. Will always look for B&B. An hotel that promises, charges for and delivers basic. Clean, updated and offers all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Excellent A/C, Comfortable memory beds, plenty of outlets, black-out curtains. Plenty, strong stream of hot water. Excellent soundproofing from the outside but you do hear guests banging their doors day and night. Yet, even a light sleeper will get a good night sleep. Free parking . We walked (mostly) along the river, in a well made pedestrian way, for about 40 minutes to town-center. Breakfast, additional €7.20 , was basic but fresh and good. The whole hotel team were very nice and helpful.

Very new and modern decorations and furnitures of high quality. Bed is comfortable and pillow feels like those fancy latex ergo ones. Lots of parking place and the location is on a major way coming from Bolzano, easy to arrive. Beware going here on foot is not that easy.

Sound isolation between rooms is pretty not okay. Room is large and lighting is very comfortable, which is seldom for many hotels(hidden LED bands in slots). We had a double room thats separated from a suite and there was only a door between two neighboring rooms. We could hear very clear the other guests.

The room is very spacious, there is a small fridge inside. Great wi-fi connection. Good breakfast which you can buy additionally for 7 euros. Very friendly staff.

We stayed for 2 nights and only received two carton cups to drink. There was only one blanket and it was wrapped in a sheets (?). A little uncomfortable solution. Please not that the hotel is located a 40-minute walk away from the town center. Still, it is pretty close to a bus stop and there is Bolzano Sud train station nearby.

The hotel is functional and quite appropriate for a stop over in our trip. The staff at check-in was exceptionally nice and professional. The very ample and secured parking is a plus. Breakfast was very good in relation to the price charged, but you better go for it on the early side because our sons who went down a bit later than us found less variety.

Unfortunately the neighborhood doesn't offer much, so we had to move the car and go to the center for dinner.

Great price for a nice hotel

The manager kept harassing us for passports every time we came in and out. We were a large group there for a family wedding. There was a computer typo and he kept telling us he was looking for someone who was registered to the room but this person was NOT with us or a part of the group. Instead of just accepting this he would make us wait every time we tried to leave… making copies of our passports etc. it was a hugely inconvenient situation and it made my brother and his wife and two babies EXTREMELY LATE to the family wedding. Not to mention they were very rude about it when we were frustrated by this harassment…. Too bad because we really liked the hotel and it’s proximity to the mall where there were groceries, restaurants and shops.

New facilities in the room, very clean. Big and comfortable bed. Silent environment, very good for sleeping. Friendly staff. I was in July, outside +38 degrees, so air conditioning was perfect! It was silent and kept a perfect temperature inside.

Location is outside city center, in the industrial area of Bolzano. Shower is in the same area with the toilet, water goes directly on the floor, so it is very difficult to avoid water everywhere.
