wi-fi works- room clean, a/c works, walking distance to everything. private parking is a few meters away (13 euros) per day. The hotel has a nice courtyard where breakfast is served as well as afternoon drinks.

The bathroom door is at the foot of the bed, with a meter between the end of the bed and bathroom door. Just one light switch to the bathroom. When a person needs to use the bathroom at 3pm , the bathroom light shines onto the person sleeping on the bed. The bathroom is not well insulated. Other than this the room is adequate. There is a sign in the bathroom about saving water and if want to reuse the towel, to hang it on the towel rack. The towel rack is toilet height directly in front of the toilet seat. Not very smart.

The location is very good, just inside the old town walls, about 10 minutes walk from the historic centre and the restaurants. We stayed here on 2 separate nights within a 2 week holiday, and both times the experience was good. We had chosen this hotel for the parking, and we were offered off road under cover parking, which was lucky, because apparently you need to specifically book ahead for this. The hotel was clean and comfy, with good air con. The breakfast is help yourself Continental style. The desk staff were very helpful and friendly, and we would stay here again if we were to visit Avignon again.

Super nice hotel with wonderful staff. We arrived and directly got a map with what to do in Avignon. The yard is a beautiful place to calm down after a exhausting hot day. You can also order drinks like wine, soda and stuff like that. The breakfast is adequate for the size of the hotel and couldn't complain about the selection. In less than ten minutes you can reach the train station Avignon centre.

The only thing I struggled with was the air conditioning. I am not used to it and as the room was small (which is okay), the AC was pointed directly onto the bed what sometimes felt a little uncomfortable (the temperatures were too high and too many mosquitoes were around, so opening the window wasn't an option). But this is more of a personal thing than something objective.

Excellent location within the walls of Avignon. Staff were very helpful at the front desk and provided us with somewhere safe to store our bicycles overnight. Very accommodating for a 4:30am checkout and offered us coffee. 24 hour reception staff available, couldn't recommend more highly!

overall fantastic stay and lovely hotel. Very difficult to fault anything. It was a shame we were unable to try the included breakfast but as we were checking out at 4:30am to get an early train back to Lyon this was more than understandable. This is a lovely hotel, just inside the city walls of Avignon and within easy walking distance of the Palais des Papes. The hotel itself is lovely, with a courtyard garden where you can sit to have drinks and breakfast. Our room was not huge, but it was well presented, comfortable and had all the facilities we needed and it overlooked the garden. The hotel can provide secure parking in its own car park which is outside the city walls, just across the ring road so a very short walk from the hotel (we have had previous experience in Avignon of hotel parking outside the walls which turned out to be quite some distance from the hotel itself). The buffet breakfast was very good.

The hotel was just inside the city walls, so it was convenient for the taxi transfer from the train station. The bus station was also close by. The area was very quiet and peaceful. Restaurants and sights were very easy to walk to. It's a great location The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived late in the night and we were advised where to go for dinner. The garden is lovely for a summer breakfast. If I'd know earlier, we would've also had an evening drink, as they have a little bar there.

There wasn't really enough shampoo and shower gel. It seemed a little mean.

Just had a problem with the room cleaner(?) not replacing all supplies that were needed (toilet paper, soap, tea/coffee packets) and cleaning used coffee cups in the room. Also, there was a problem with leaking water coming out of the shower into the bathroom floor and even onto the bedroom floor. Not sure why; maybe missing caulking. Nice surprise, though when we checked out—they comped two of our breakfasts due to the problems.

the location was great. It was just inside the walls, away from the main tourist area, but close to lots of restaurants and beautiful sites. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful with recommendations for places to see in the area, places to eat, and even helping us with selecting and booking our next stop. The garden area was a huge bonus. breakfast was god and varied.

wifi was not great in the room. Usually went to the lobby to connect.

The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was perfect. The breakfast was very good with a nice variety. But most of all,the staff were most helpful and went over and above to help us in so many, many ways that I cannot even list them in a small space. Exceptional staff.

Parking was a bit farther than we expected, but we were grateful that the hotel even had parking. Cecile was most helpful, though, in dealing with the car.

Breakfast was fantastic, staff was amazingly kind and attentive to this weary traveler. The value was exceptional, the hotel was clean, tidy and it's obvious they care about their hotel. The breakfast area was kept impeccably clean and well stocked. Being a traveler who likes my coffee in peace and quiet in the mornings - this was amazing - it was quiet, good coffee and the breads /honey for breakfast were fantastic.

It would have been helpful to have a kettle in the room. Other than that, for the price you can't beat this place - really a little gem.
