Aparthotel Adagio Access Avignon

It is a short walk from TGV and about same from McDonald in the opposite direction. There is no restaurant but some pre-packaged meals can be purchased from Reception and there is a drink vending machine. A jug or iron is available on request. Breakfast catered to all tastes. Having the fridge, microwave etc was very handy and the room was very comfortable for 4 nights.

Although it didn't cause a problem the slowness of the motion lighting to activate in a long dark corridor, entered through self-closing swing doors, just didn't create a welcoming atmosphere. Suppose the well worn carpet added to that.

Great location close to TGV (but far from city centre and central railway station). Good to have a refrigerator and microwave in the room. Nice that some convenience meals were available in the lobby.

There was a percolator machine but there were no filters. It seems inconvenient to have to buy a whole pack of filters for one morning's use. Plus there were no supermarkets nearby. Also, there was no kettle. Would have preferred a kettle and a selection of tea bags and instant coffee sachets. There did not appear to be any supermarkets nearby and only one restaurant (in a hotel) within walking distance. Also, would have liked instructions for the microwave. Took a great deal of trial and error to make it work.

When we arrived at the breakfast buffet, there weren’t any plates or cutlery available for a few minutes. All the tables were still dirty and piled up with dirty dishes. I think it would be handy to let the customers clean up their table themselves and put the plateaus into a rack of some sort. Besides that, the breakfast was delicious!!!

The girls from the receptions are exceptionally nice and helpful. There is a coin operated laundrette in the building which is a big bonus. Breakfast was very good too. Very close to TGV station and we walked for about 5 min and we are in the station. All round very good. Excellent value for money

This is a convenient hotel for people who need to get up early to catch a fast train from Avignon. You can walk to the station in a few minutes. The staff is very friendly and relaxed.

If I wanted to explore the city, I would probably choose a more central hotel. However, there are busses from the station to the centre, just take a bit to learn which one to take.

The value for money was good. The location was close to train station. The staff prepared me some breakfast to the room fridge even though I could not attend the breakfast.

I never saw any staff. The corridors and rooms needed a bit of renovation. Location was a bit far from city center, but close to train station which I needed.

The place is comfortable and clean. It had complete amenities. Staff were all polite and helpful.

The place is quite a walking distance to the station Avignon TGV. You still have to take the train to bring you to the center of town, Avignon Center. There are no restaurants or convenience store close to the place.

Breakfast was excellent. Good value. Hotel is very near TGV station, so fine for one night. Very limited restaurants nearby. McDonald’s (cheap) or Gustave’s (expensive).

Could have done with more pillows

We were able to walk from the train station. The hotel provided excellent potted French cuisine suppers in glass sealed containers which we cooked in the microwave in our room. Breakfast was extensive, delicious, with plenty of space in the dining room. Excellent air conditioning - which we needed in 40 degrees.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and I will go back again. It is in a convenient location near to the TGV station which is exactly the reason I book it. It is great value for money and has everything you could need in the room to make your stay comfortable. Also the staff and especially the receptionist are always so polite and extremely helpful and friendly.

My only comment would be that the hotel could do with some updating. It is a bit tired in parts but other than that there is nothing to complain about!
