Room was very spacious with a beautiful view, staff super kind and helpful. The center is about 12min ride. The pools were nice, especially when traveling with kids, this is much needed in the Cartagena heat. Bathroom was pretty spacious too

Daily we would find strands of hair on the floor by the pool. Breakfast had a lot of pork in it, so if you don't eat that, your options are limited. Water out the shower wasn't really strong, but it was doable. Wifi might not always work, but I was told that whole part of the city had troubles with wifi every now and then. Also I was surprised that there weren't free bottles of water in the room daily

Their breakfast is extremely good, with the variety and quality of the food served. I have back issues, but I found the beds very comfortable. Our room was spacious, very clean, with a fantastic sea view from the balcony. Location is good, (45 minute walk to the old walled city) or if it is too warm taxis are inexpensive. We enjoyed the swimming pools on warm afternoons. We tried a few options for evening meals, finding our best option was right at the Hotel. Johnny their chef prepares flavorful meals with great presentation.

Such a lovely hotel. Loved how close it was to the airport. Beautiful views and great drinks! The buffet was decent but for the price I don't think one could expect too much more. There were not too many shops or restaurant options near by. We needed groceries and had to go to the old city, a 10 minute taxi. Staff were always helpful. Kids had a great time at the park and games room. Very close to the beach and amazing active community. Totally safe!

For kids Buffet would've been nice with Pancakes, Waffles everyday. Kids pool was closed 3/5 days we were there but I can appreciate that it looks like they're constantly updating the facilities.

We had an amazing view of the sea, The breakfast in the mornings was really nice and varied. Eg. Fruits, scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, freshly baked bread rolls, and some more exotic Colombian style breakfasts. Staff were extremely helpful and always there ready to serve you coffee/ juice. The food is covered and not exposed to flies which was a plus for us. My partner doesn't like to eat where he sees food out in open and exposed. The bread rolls where exposed but later covered when they realised that my partner would not eat from bread roll basket. Staff were very kind to have his plate of freshly baked bread rolls ready for him served on a plate covered in cling film. The food at the restaurant was very pleasant as well. Very cartagenian, from chicken to pastas to sea food. Our favourite mainly. I was also very amazed and very grateful not to say the least with the free service of out of hours medical care in case of an emergency. Thinking I had to go to A&E or a clinic at 3am. My partner who doesn't speak a word of Spanish was helped in reception and was told that the hotel provides out of hours medical service free of charge. I was seen in 20 mins by the medical team, prescribed adequate medication and given an injection for the pain and swelling. Although it was free I couldn't help but contribute with a small token to show my appreciation for their help ( medical team). I'm sure that would've cost me a lot more if I'd gone to the hospital. The centre of Cartagena is no more than 10 mins away, word of advice always ask price before you get on a taxi. It should not cost you more that 12000 pesos for a taxi to the clock tower. 15 000 pesos Max, that's 3 dollars/ £3. Occasionally we would be charged 10 000 pesos. So just make sure you ask the driver. Some like to take advantage of the tourist and charge more than they should.

We were right above the swimming pool so if we opened our blinds everyone could see in our room. We would've wanted a bit more privacy but to some this may not be a problem. But the music they play for those using the swimming pool can be heard during the day. They do turn it off early but again, if you want to relax in your room maybe not go for the room right in front of the outdoor pool. I also disliked that the gym was out of service. August 5-11 2022. Hopefully they sort this out soon. It's a nice hotel, just needs a little make over, a bit of paint and TLC as it looks a little dated. But staff were kind, helpful and our stay was a pleasant stay over all. Would I go back there again? ...yes I would. Hopefully the gym will be open.

A great location for families and individuals looking for a more tranquil stay, great pools for young kids and families.

The food was not good. The fruit was not fresh, the chocolate had an odd taste. We stayed 11 nights and ate breakfast there only twice, once the first morning and again the 2nd morning incase the previous experience was a fluke... but it wasnt. Como dijo mi esposa, la comida... super pero super suave. The lighting in our room worked when it wanted to.

Staff is very kind and helpful, spaceous rooms, good breakfast for this price. Very good value for money. Perfect wifi.

They are currently renovating the hotel and you can see some things need and update. Everything is still working and maintained, but a bit outdated. The restaurant is a bit expensive for Cartagena, even restaurants in the old city center are cheaper.

the procedure of check-in : first with the concierge , then pre check-in at the reception and finally room delivery always at 3 pm. The usual cheap breakfast that we find these days in Colombia : the same 3 cheap fruits every day , the same scrambled and boiled eggs , one type of marmelade and butter accompanied by diluted cheap orange and strawberry juices

I liked the service provided in the hotel, the rooms were clean and confortable, not to mention the view was a big plus since having a glance at the sea was Nice. The breakfast was tasty and the staff was really helpful and caring, I am looking forward to stay there again next. time

For me, I didnt have complaints but my girl pointed out that a hair dryer was a need.

there was noise due to ongoing renovation of one of the swimming pools, the water in the bathroom for showering was on the cold side and the water temperature couldn’t be adjusted, the window blinds constantly were getting unmovable

It's the best hotel in Cartagena de Indias, everything was wonderful, they have a good team, all the guys are very kind always, and the location is perfect, just 1.8 km from the airport and 2.5 km from the historic center.
