Hotel Summer Frente Al Mar

It was very good value for money due to all discounts I received. Views, especially from swimming pool area. Very friendly & helpful staff. Public beach cross the road. Nice cooked breakfast.

Way too close to airport, plain passing by all the time, so it was very noisy & different to fall asleep. Linen / bed sheets & towels were washed unprofessionally- stained & coloured but they were clean, it was not big deal fir me. It’s advertised as ES&EN speaking properly but no-one can communicate in English. I took it as part of the whole experience of Cartagena & Colombia & with online translator was just fine but I imagine it can be frustrating if you’re in rush and have different approach.

Great price, free breakfast was the best part not to worry about going to find food. Breakfast had Great options. The pool on the 8th was great on a hot day and Great drinks. Hammock on the bedroom was lovely to relax as well as the balcony. Staff were extremely friendly and went above and beyond

Not guest friendly, its really hard to understand this policy of I book a hotel room, why can't I come in with a guest, if the hotel is worried about safety, by all means register the guest but don't understand why guest are charged extra on tip of room charge. Saw 2 cockroaches (should have taken pictures), really gross. Needs to fumigate rooms. Service at the restaurant varied depending on who was working, its common restaurant thing to serve guest to drinks or water they ask for - instead standing there conversing for 30mins while guests are thirsty

Location to the beach and airport are great. Included breakfast table service and much better than buffet style continental ones. Staff was also prompt and friendly.

No Iron in room. For 2 person room, only 2 bath towels were given and no hand towels or wash clothes. When asked about hand towels or wash clothes we were told they did not have any. Also disappointed they didn't have beach towels available to loan considering its proximity to the beach.

The view from the 6th floor was really nice, the tub was good too although the warm water wasn't really warm😅. The room was big, LG TV with Netflix and Spotify. It had a fan on the ceiling which was very appreciated since it was very cold with the AC. It included hangers for the clothes, a mini fridge, a safe, towels, the bedding perfect for the cold AC. We loved the bed, very very comfortable, my boyfriend is obese and we fitted perfectly. Excellent cocktails and the view from the rooftop was amazing. WARNING: Please, do not do nasty stuff in the bathtub, you can get hurt just by trying 🤣

The bathroom had an incomplete blackout, the actual part that is thick and blacks out everything was not there, it was uncomfortable to use the bathtub and be naked inside, people from the street can see u if u have the lights on. We accidentally removed one of the bathtub's cushions and it was very dirty. We also didn't like the check-out time at 12.00H, they should extend it until 13.00H to have time and grab some lunch in the area before leaving. The breakfast lack salt, it was: fruit, scrambled eggs, 2 arepas (small) or 2 toasts with no butter or jelly, and coffee. We had lunch and same issue, lack of salt on everything, very dry meat, we thought it was quite expensive for such quality

The room is very nice and comfortable with all the amenities we needed - fridge and hai dryer and plugs and even a porch inside the room. the restaurant is nice, but we didn't wake up to breakfast. We did eat launch later, which was not bad. The staff was helpful and locked our luggage when we were passing the Time until our trip out of Cartagena.

The noise of traffic from the main road outside the porch but I guess that's the price of a porch to the sea over the highway. The staff barely speak English.

The room and one of the staff members were great as the pool side bar

I was accused from the manager from the housekeeping and the housekeeping of taking extra towels in front of my partner. Even though we explain that we just had one set of towels during the beginning of our stay. After the verification the staff apologized but they ruined they beginning of that day. We brought it up to the clerk to speak to the manager until this day still waiting for the manager.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Ocean views and a small restaurant in the lobby area offers breakfast, lunch and dinners until 8pm

It's a small hotel, you haveTo walk up amd over thr pedestrian bridge to get to the beach. Front rooms overlook the ocean and have a small balcony. Small restaurant in the lobby

The location and prices were great. The hotel staff were extremely polite and helpful. Room and ocean view were spectacular. The free breakfast was awesome and had alot to choose from.

I found 2 cockcroaches one in the bedroom and the other was in the bathroom which were really gross.

The breakfast was excellent, staff doesn't speak English but absolutely great using their phone to translate. Extremely friendly and polite.

Maybe the meal menu could improve but I am a little biased with food preference. Food was still decent.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The facilities were okay I would like the pool to be bigger.

Sometimes the air conditioner seems so cold at night, we need to keep on because it feels so warm without it.
