La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Vancouver Airport

The staff are great! It’s located very close to the Airport, and very accessible to malls & restaurants in Richmond, Stanley Park and downtown. It’s also within 15-min walk to a nearby Sky Train station if you don’t want to drive. They have a pool, a whirlpool and an exercise room; as a low budget inn, providing such facilities are a pleasant surprise! Did I mention the free breakfast? Yes, it’s good too, and the staff running the breakfast were very attentive!

I gave it 9 out of 10 because of the air conditioner. It’s too loud. We had to turned it off at night and opened the windows, but the noise of flights weee frequent too. If only they could manage the noise issue, it’s a 10 out of 10!

Friendly employees. Room is sufficiently spacious and equipped with two comfortable beds (family room) and a well-functioning air conditioning. Coffee machine with capsules is an added value when you get up. Good working shower. Breakfast is not particularly extensive, as everywhere in Canada, but certainly sufficient. Tasty homemade waffles! Just a 10 minute drive from the airport. Train to downtown Vancouver departs from the station, a 10-minute walk away. Many nice (Asian) eateries nearby.

- front desk clerk couldn't tell us how to get to downtown Vancouver. - Being close to the airport, planes often fly over here, so earplugs are necessary.

Have some bananas for breakfast please. Also turn up the heat on the hottub, 2 people I were in at the same time said it was warm, yes it was, its called a HOT tub, Other hotels the hot tub is HOT, it says 40 on the well and you maintain it at 37 according to the night worker. Is that to save money on heat, or for the comfort of the guests (turn it up please) Also keep the hottub open till 11 or 12. Like the Clique hotel calgary, we are adults, let us relax. 10 too early. When I heard the Clique or The Chateau Victoria in Victoria or opened to midnight or 11 pm, I thought that is civilised.

You can't beat this place when it comes to what you get for the money. Prices for hotels in Vancouver have skyrocketed and although this place is quite a lot less, you still get a comfortable, clean room. We love the breakfast that is included (it is a decent selection when you consider the price for this hotel) and having a fresh waffle in the morning is a highlight. There are lots of restaurants nearby and it is a 15-ish minute walk to the Skytrain so it is easy to go to other areas of Vancouver or to the airport.

Adorable hot tub and pool, amenities, comfortable rooms, and pets are allowed. Enjoyed the store like food selection at the front desk. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very nice building in the perfect location for food, park and shopping mall all nearby. Really liked that the pet floor is on the 5th floor with a great view

Beds were smaller than expected, though that was my fault for not double checking for queen rooms. Water should be added near juice and milk for breakfast, and a fruit salad would be a lovely addition to breakfast there, please.

Check-in/out went well; room was comfortable

1) We had a dog, so it would have been nice to have the ground floor designated for guests with pets, instead it was the top (5th) floor only for guests with dogs. 2) Being right across from the elevator, we could hear people who were a bit loud come in/out of the elevator late at night . It would cause our dog to bark a bit. 3) The elevator took a long time to get to the 5th floor. 4) Would have been nice to have an ice machine on 5th floor.

the breakfast was great; it consisted of boiled eggs, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, and waffles (make your own). the hotel has an indoor jacuzzi and small pool. there was a washer and dryer; I had no issue while using them. also, free ample parking! also, dog friendly! the AC worked great, and it is a must in on BC bc it gets hot! this property is surrounded by Asian restaurants!!! also it is walking distance from public transportation. overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I just wish it was slightly cheaper.

the carpet needs to be changed as it old. however, it was not dirty, no stains. the tv channels were not that great, but I hardly used the tv bc I was out exploring the town.

Had to check out before breakfast was available, had breakfast at Lansdowne Mall the day of our arrival Train ride to Vancouver Waterfront very good, easy access and travel time was good Supper at Cactus Club excellent, located very close to hotel Very rude taxi driver from airport to L Quinta, taxi driver back to airport was excellent, we left too early to use shuttle

Only negative was the one taxi driver, everything at hotel was good. We did arrive early and there was little they could do to accommodate us so we were out and about all day, but we did expect that as we understand the need for room cleaning, preparation etc. There was a place for us to store our luggage.

Close to the airport station and the metro station (Lansdowne Station) Very good breakfast, although we always got the same eggs and turkey sausages. Excellent room, good TV and channels. Cleanliness and availability of hotel employees. Two exits to two different streets. Safe area to walk. Good gym, small, but good. Pool and Jacuzzi.

The garden requires more care. The elevator is a bit slow. We always got the same breakfast (boiled eggs and turkey sausage), although there were other options like waffles and oatmeal. The juice did not taste like juice.

Staff was very nice, polite and helpful. Easy to talk to from check in to maid services, to any staff you see along the way they were kind and interact. They noticed immediately when they were out of hot water for tea. Before we could even walk away they were on the ball refilling it. Attention to little details shows they actually care.

Only thing is the walls might be a little thin. So we could hear our neighbours tv quite loud. Not sure if it was thinner walls or they liked their tv at full volume. Either at the staff was very kind when we mentioned it.
