Quest Chermside

Room 203A and 203B was the perfect working environment for the 4 of us. 203B was big enough to have a dinner for 6 which was nice for a change.

The BBQ was dirty and also 'unavailable'. The BBQ is essential given the limited power of the stove and stovetop in the units. There was a sign on the dishwasher saying 'Out of order'. But in fact its the pipe from the sink that is the problem as I did a few sinks of washing up a large amount of cutlery and crockery and water seeped out rapidly from below the dishwasher.

Breakfast was all gone by the time we got there. We did pick up a milk though. The room was clean with everything you would need and the location was excellent. The products provided for the bathroom were of good quality.

Prices, like all hotels on the Magic Round weekend were inflated. I think the normal rates offer good value for money. The tv didn't work for the football on the Saturday night despite reception giving us new batteries for the remote. We definitely could have done with some more pillows without having to ask for extras.

Impressed by helpfulness of the lady who guided us on arrival and assisted with any questions we had. Liked the layout of the unit and ease of access via the lift. Cleaning lady very helpful supplying extra items we requested. This was our first stay at Quest and found it met our expectations.

Having the shower over the bath made it difficult for my wife to access as she has back problems. There is no grab rail which for people with a disability is a real issue. It would be helpful if you indicated if you have a disability unit. If not then please instal a grab rail to make access to the bath easier for people with a disability. Thanks - overall we enjoyed our stay.

liked air conditioner,clean and pet friendly.Staff friendly and polite. Was a good location.Shopping centre walking distance and restaurants open late.

Breakfast muesli bars tasted stale,no where downstairs to sit for breakfast,did not like coffee machine a coffee very weak and milk substance tasted not right. No pool and if using gym have to wait a while a 1 person at a time from hotel. Mcdonalds across the road was filthy and food not good. Also garage door not working to secure the carpark.

Booked for the studio apartment and really got what I bargained for, it was small but very spacious which a kitchen with utensils, pans, pots, a microwave and a fridge. The balcony was nice and gives you a “home away from home” feeling.

the connection wasn’t the strongest wifi wise. it would work well but only for short periods and at times completely cut out but when it does work it’s amazing. The TCL flat screen tv’s are amazing but not much range were there to watch on the television and there was no Stan, Foxtel, Netflix or Disney offered just whatever the local channels had available at that time. There was an option movies on through a DVD player so perhaps going to buy a movie and watching it could potentially be a good idea if you don’t want to watch local channels continuously.

Location was excellent - close to shopping centre and buses. Male staff member on reception was both friendly and helpful on our arrival. Grab and go breakfast - great idea.

Water leaked out from bottom of shower - couldn’t stop bath mat/floor becoming flooded. Perhaps needed some new silicon or maybe it is just a design flaw with the door. Grab and go bread was out-of-date - BB date was 4-6 days prior to my stay.

The hotel was conveniently located near the Hockey fields and Chermside shopping centre. There were a variety of food options nearby. Because of the location, we did not need to hire a car. We were able to leave our bags at reception for the day after checking out which was very convenient. Thank you.

Excellent location - Chermside Shopping Centre just across the road. Staff (didn't catch his name) was super friendly. Room was a good size with nice balcony. Room was neat, clean and today with mini kitchen facilities.

Large one bedroom apartment, very comfortable bed. Well appointed kitchen including a dishwasher. Having a balcony was a bonus. Great location with Westfield shopping centre and Chermside bus interchange 2 minutes away.

Housekeeping a little disorganised. Net curtain in living room needed a wash.

The hotel sent clear information on how to retrieve the keys from the after hours safe. The room was quiet and met my needs. Reception staff were very friendly.

It would have been nice if the A/C was on when I arrived. The room was very stuffy and with a late night arrival took quite a while to get to a comfortable temperature.
