Albion Manor

The room was comfortable and accommodating. Shame the whole of ALBION is on a hill and I have arteritis in my knee so walking around was a bit of a hassle. The Manager allowed us a late check out to help with resting my knee and the big journey we had to get back to the airport the next day. Highly recommend this establishment.

Nothing poor to report. Except if you don't like hills or like me cannot walk a long distance this motel may not be for you. I'd recommend hiring a car for your stay.

This is a comfortable, affordable motel situated very close to our family which makes it perfect for us. Basic kitchen amenities so you can make breakfast or a simple meal. Comfortable air conditioning, amazing shower, spacious for a motel room with free parking. Staff are pleasant and accommodating. Daily room service if you want it. This is probably our 5th visit and it never disappoints.

The apartment was very spacious, with a separate 'sleep out' area at the front with the extra beds for larger groups. The kitchen is well equipped with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Other reviews have commented on the traffic noise, but I didn't find it a problem at all (and I am fairly noise-sensitive). It's conveniently close to the railway station, on the same line as the airport. The owners are helpful and went to some trouble to get my internet working.

This is not the owners' fault, but the weekend I was there the trains though Albion Station were not operating because of work on cross-river rail project. The replacement buses are slow and inconvenient compared with the train. I understand this might be a recurring problem some weekends, so if you are choosing the location hoping to make use of public transport on a weekend, perhaps check first at https://crossriverrail.qld.gov.au/construction/travel-impacts/ to see if there are any planned disruptions.

First impressions were that being on a busy road traffic noise would keep me awake, nothing of the type. A great small kitchenette room very clean and comfortable with comfortable firm Queen size bed. Fast internet at 90Mbps download so could watch own Netfix subscription movies and download ( last place in rural area less than 1Mbps download). Plenty of undercover parking as well as off street parking. nice selection of restaurants within walking distance.

No small store available in walking distance to buy a small volume of milk though in the room a list of items that could be bought from reception, will wasn’t listed.

The staff were really friendly and accommodating to my requirements especially since I had a very late check in and early check out. They were really cordial, friendly and helpful especially when it came to the shuttle and in giving instructions for the room since I had a late check in. The room was super clean, the bathroom was great with a big nice spacious shower as well! The mattress is like a bed of soft clouds and I fell asleep instantly. Definitely a great stay :)

Breakfast is not included. There was tea/ coffee provided for the room. There are several cafes for breakfast in the area.

Road noise is an issue with this property. When leaving we were 15 minutes late since going abroad. The front desk person was beyond unhappy saying that they needed to have the room cleaned by 11AM. Check in time is 2PM???

Great hotel, excellent service and the staff were very friendly. I love how the rooms are set up. It has a little kitchen and I was able to cook my own food. Downstairs also has a very nice bbq area. Beautiful kiwi family. Will definitely stay there next time. Thank you for the great service Albion Manor

Nothing that I didn't like. I was very happy.

I liked how quickly the staff was able to help me considering how busy they were and how early i showed up. She was super accommodating and was able to clear out a room so i could get some rest. The room was better then i expected considering the price, definitely a comfortable and spacious room with everything that i needed. Thank you for your help and a lovely stay.

Friendly manager, very roomy, ground floor, microwave / kitchen setup useful, decent size shower, good hot water, air conditioner clean, comfortable bed, secure building after hours, with shutters closed could hardly hear any road noise, undercover parking.

The room are well equipped and the staff are friendly and helpful. Parking is easy as well. Easy to travel to airport, and city. The kitchen is well equipped.

Sleeping next to the window and the sound from the road can be loud at times. Being winter and the pool being not heater so wasn't able to use the pool.
