View Brisbane

We loved our room, and it was perfect for what we needed. It was close to everything, coffee machine in the lobby was amazing, and the facilities looked incredible! It rained the whole time we were staying, so we weren't able to enjoy anything outdoors. I noticed that there was a box of beautiful blankets out near the pool for people to wrap around themselves while eating if it got too cold. Great idea! Great value for money.

One of the power points in one room didn't work, and the power cords just fell out when we tried to plug anything in. The staff were very quick to get someone to have a look at the Power points though.

24hr reception was grest as we didn’t fly in until late, was 8:45pm when we checked in and we were still able to eat in the restaurant at 9pm. The bed was comfy and the room well appointed. The bathroom was clean and the shower was phenomenal after almost 24hrs travelling, and the toiletries were lovely. The breakfast buffet was delicious with many and varied options, and was honestly the best we had eaten over our vacation. The staff were all very welcoming, courteous and happy, and it showed in their interactions. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, they were all very helpful and happy.

The only fault I can find was the blind in the bathroom was stuck up at the bottom, probably due to age & wear, but enough to be exposed at the window.

location, easy check in and out, staff are helpful and friendly, easy ordering if room service, plush, plush bathrobes… absolutely divine.

the only issue I did have when ordering room service was the communication / language barrier. The person taking my call didn’t quite understand what it was I was ordering from the menu (wine) we got there in the end. The wine was perfect! As for the bathroom amenities/ soaps etc. we got the spa suit and no supplies were there for the use of the sap, we did use some of the supplied body wash. however, this is not sustainable nor should be used in a spa bath. maybe if someone does book the spa suite to put a little extra in the rooms for he use of the spa. bath salts? oils?

The room was lovely, wonderful view, clean, comfy, just ideal! For a short break away it was exactly what I needed, great wifi and perfect in every way 👌

I found the food a little disappointing to be honest, a high priced restaurant and yet both meals my meat was overcooked. Not enough variety in the room service menu when all I wanted was something simple. Certainly not worth the high price tag

Great location, close to bus which we used often to travel into town and change over to trains. Hotel and room were so beautiful, from the outside it looks average but as soon as you go inside - exceptional! Shower pressure was great which is always a bonus! They had a pool and fitness centre (we didn't use these this time travelling). The food was awesome, buffet maybe a little pricey but good food. Room service was wonderful, the staff were so accommodating and friendly throughout our stay! Definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful comfortable room with everything you need. Two armchairs were a lovely plus.

Housekeeping needs to pay more attention to the detail. The mouldings on the furniture looked like they haven't been dusted in a long time. The same for the bathroom towel ring.and the plate that the toiletries are displayed on. The electric jug did not work and a replacement was not supplied as requested. All this may be the result of staffing issues but still could not give the higher score because of these matters.

Really nice and classic style hotel décor. The rooms are a great size. We got a lovely room that wasn't facing the water and were able to upgrade to a stunning room with a great view. Really happy. Also, Brisbane is a busy city that I find pretty intense and can get a little lost in, so staying just outside of it was nice and relaxed. Also, there was a nice pub (Breakfast creek hotel) that was just walking distance from the hotel, which was an added bonus.

honestly, I don't have much to complain about. One of the window's blinds wasn't fully working but it didn't affect out lovely stay.

Lovely room with a great view. It's well worth spending the little extra to get a vista room with views over the river. Decor is a bit dated, but has a quirky nature to it that works well. Staff were friendly and helpful and the whole place was spotlessly clean. We dined in the restaurant and found the food and staff to be lovely.

There wasn't anything we disliked, but be advised the hotel is next to a busy road, so light sleepers may be disturbed if on a lower floor. It didn't bother us on the 3rd floor.

The family room was great. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was nice, and the reasonably priced minibar was a bonus. The location is good for exploring Brisbane, and the nearby Breakfast Creek Hotel was good for food and drinks. I'd definitely stay here if we visited Brisbane again.

We'd been looking forward to having a few hours chilling around the swimming pool, but unfortunately it was closed during our stay as they were having the decking replaced.

Truly wonderful view of the river from the corner room. Room service. Comfortable bed. Table and chairs in the room. Swimming pool. Wonderful desk person took my bags to the room, something that rarely happens these days.

No hand held option in the shower. Windows don't open at all. There is a large multi lane highway between the hotel and the river. The room was well insulated so I did not hear the traffic but if I had wanted to go for a walk along the river front I don't know where I would have crossed.
