L'Azure Resort and Spa

The location is excellent, and the beach and staff are also really great. The gym, even though small, was great to use and kept in good condition.

Unfortunately, there were large groups of Russian tourists at the resort, and they were loud and very rude to the staff and fellow guests, taking no notice of many signs not to dominate the beach lounches.

Location is amazing, right in front of the beach but also close to restaurants, shops, supermarkets and the night markets in Phu Quoc. The breakfast is amazing and has anything you might want to eat and staff is always polite and willing to help. The rooms are very nice and spacious with really nice decorations with really reminds you that you are on an island. The beach is really nice and they always keep it clean for the guests. They also have complimentary airport transfer which is a big plus.

The prices for the beach bar are a bit high eg if you wanna buy a drink or a coconut by the beach. The prices in general to stay at this hotel are a bit high but Phu Quoc in general isn’t very cheap compared to rest of Vietnam as destination.

When planning our accommodation in Phu Quoc we were back and forth about where on the island we wanted to stay. We looked at options up and down the coast on both the East and West side of the island. In the end we choce L'Azure mostly because we loved how close it was to the night market and the main town Duong Dong. And we were really, really glad we did! Not only was L'Azure's location amazing, but the resort itself was really nice! The breakfast every morning was really delicious, and it seemed to alternate with different options every day so that it wasn't always the same. The breakfast included a great mix of Vietnamese and Western breakfast options. We had a garden view room which still had a slight view of the ocean and a gorgeous balcony. The beds were super comfortable, and the room overall was a great size. I was a little nervous that the beach would have a lot of trash because it was so close to Duong Dong, but we were pleasantly surprised at how gorgeous and clean the beach was. The water was super calm and clear like a pool. One of the days we were on the East coast of the island and found the beaches there were a bit dirtier and the water was rougher. In the evenings it was so nice to be able to walk into Duong Dong instead of having to taxi places for food or shopping or massages. The night market was about a 15 minute walk away, and there were several delicious restaurants right across the road from the hotel. One day we also rented motorbikes through the hotel to bike around the island and the whole rental process was really smooth and painless. We requested motorbikes and they were delivered to the hotel within minutes and were good value. Overall, I would highly recommend L'Azure and if I come back to Phu Quoc, I will be staying here again!

The water in our shower never seemed to get super hot, but we didn't mind because we were always hot from sitting on the beach all day anyway so we wanted a cold shower.

All the staff were amazingly attentive, kind and friendly, from front desk, to restaurant to gardeners - this really stood out. The property was lovely. My sister had some difficult diet issues and the kitchen staff went out of their way to accommodate and be helpful - wonderful! They introduced us to a very helpful lady taxi driver. The room was comfortable, and we loved the balcony. Although 'garden view' we could see the beach! Pool was nice. Fairly central to town and our favourite restaurant. Grounds were beautiful.

The water at the beach was so polluted for most of our stay that we didn't go in until the last day when it was better. Probably tidal issue, and not fault of the resort, but beach could have been cleaned up more after the tide dumped rubbish. Booking.com said there was a tennis court - there is none. :-) Had a lovely stay despite these points.

We absolutely loved our stay! The property facing the pristine beach was a dream, and the spacious room felt like a cozy retreat. Our room surprised us with a pocket sea view, an unexpected bonus that added a touch of magic to our experience. Plus, being conveniently close to renowned restaurants like Bún quậy Kiến-Xây (A-C noodles) and the famous Xin Chao Seafood Restaurant made our culinary adventures even more delightful. A perfect blend of comfort, views, and epicurean delights—our Phu Quoc getaway was simply unforgettable!"

While our room boasted spaciousness, we couldn't help but notice its emptiness. The length of the room left us gazing at our luggage as the TV seemed miles away. A design oversight that left the space feeling less cozy than expected. Nonetheless, we made the most of our stay, finding comfort in the room's size despite its layout quirks.

By far the most expensive hotel, which we had in our over 4 weeks holidays, however also totally worth it. Big and clean rooms. Very nice beach with free umbrella and lounges. Nice pool (but we didn't use it). Staff was always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was by far the best we had in Vietnam. You could basically chose anything you can imaging from the Buffet.

Pickup/shuttle was just possible from the airport and not the harbor. But it is just a "bus" and when we left we were the only people in the Bus to the airport. The Trip to the harbor is not much longer, so we did not understand, why this was not possible, so we had to pay for a taxi.

This was better than the 5 star hotels we stayed in. The staff were delightful. Helpful but not intrusive, nothing was too much trouble. The setting was idyllic and the beach was out of a movie. Cannot fault our stay. Try to get a beach front room for extra wow!

The weather wasn't great but that's nit the fault of the hotel!!

Beautiful grounds and garden. Cottages and small apartments dotted around the plot. Right on the beach with sun loungers. Tasteful everywhere. Spotlessly clean. Amazing breakfasts. Staff very attentive and polite - that beer on the beach appeared instantly and was ice cold. Pretty good location. Great free transfer to/from airport We walked quite a way up and down the beach - L’Azure looks by far the best of this resort type . It wasn’t busy when we were there - a good thing for us but not if you want a highly sociable location

Nothing to dislike

A beautiful spacious room with double doors opening on to a terrace with a wonderful view of the beach. This beach front property was all that we could have hoped for and more. It was very clean and serviced everyday. The bathroom was large with a good shower and a good selection of complimentary toiletries. Robes were also provided as well as umbrellas (which thankfully we didn't need to use!)The TV had a good list of channels plus the air-conditioning was very welcome.The check in was friendly and extremely efficient with a welcome drink of fresh juice when we arrived. The quiet pool was clean with comfortable loungers (plus shade) and a swim up bar/food. The breakfast was excellent- an extensive choice of both Western and Vietnamese cuisine. Eggs and Vietnamese pancakes were freshly cooked to order. . Room service was available with a good selection of fresh, tasty food at a reasonable price- we used it twice and ate on the terrace. The restaurant was very quiet, but the food did service was very good plus with views over the sea and pool. As a bonus, the cocktails were delicious.

The bed was a little firm for us - but that's personal preference..

Everything. We had a deluxe sea view room which was fabulous. The pool was great. all staff were so helpful. We booked a 2 Island tour with them and also another day we wanted to travel to Sao Beach, Coconut prison and Fish Sauce factory - but we didn’t want to do a full day tour so staff organised a taxi for the day, which was very reasonable, around €30 and we were left at the beach for 4 hours. Stunning beach. Breakfast was fabulous as well, great choices. We are in the restaurant a few nights and we were on our own, most people got room service or ate out.

Nothing really but I would suggest they change the menu for night time as we were there for 7 days and daytime and nighttime menu the same - but that is a small thing.
