This was one of our best stays in all of Asia. The location is absolutely beautiful and very quiet. The Homestay is comfortable and there is a nice common area to hang out and swim, or play games which we used a lot during our stay. The restaurant was really good, and a great value with plenty of food options - both local and western. We used the free bikes and also rented scooters for a day which was cheap and convenient. The best thing, however, was how we were treated by the staff. They really took care of us. They were accommodating in every way, and just made it easy and enjoyable. we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

What a wonderful place to stay! As close to perfection as it gets for beauty, serenity and just all around comfort. The staff is exceptional. The beds are comfortable. I stayed in one of the bungalows and it was so quiet and so relaxing, day or night. Just let the birds and frogs and insects sing you to sleep at the foot of a cliff amidst the limestone hills and rice fields of this wonderful scenic area! Totally recommend this place! You won't be disappointed.

Thé location is excellent. We had a separate cabin. it was squeaky clean and perfect. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The room came with a delicious made-to-order breakfast. Lunch and dinner were also available for purchase. Bicycles are free to use. We would definitely return here.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Everything! Location superb (out of the way though). The food was amazing and inexpensive. Beer was SO CHEAP! We ate there all 3 nights. The breakfast was included and also delicious. Staff were lovely. Rooms were spacious. Our family used the pool table a lot! Free bicycles available. The pool looked lovely and clean but we didn’t swim. Would be amazing in summer. The views were incredible. Woken up by Roosters and birdsong but who can complain about that! The lovely staff even gave us a goody bag for our trip to Hanoi.

The only issue was that on Booking.com if you copy or use the address provided it takes you to Trang An Village Homestay so we then had to get a grab to River View. So don’t use Booking.com to find it just enter it into Google maps by name. Even then the lady at River View offered to pay for our Grab (we declined).

Riverview Homestay is beautifully laid out with the limestone karst mountains as the background with a view over ponds through a valley ringed by more mountains - breathtaking! the owners and staff make ones stay comfortable anticipating every need setting up tours, taxis, motorbikes and several speak English. The pool is refreshing and the food is wonderful.

We stayed for 3 nights in a Riverview bungalow at Trang A River Vjew Homestay and it was worth staying out of the busy streets of Tam Coc. Such a friendly family who really look after their property, we really enjoyed our time there. Lots of mosquitoes and bugs so not for those who can’t stand nature, also the road in can be daunting for those not used to country roads expect mud if there’s been rain! Motorbike hire though the homestay was easy and bikes were good for what we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Shower head wasn’t the best but otherwise cant complain! Room was great.

A magical place with perfect location for exploring the beautiful Ninh Binh area. The homestay is clean and has great facilities, breakfast options are amazing, the restaurant offers many great meals and cocktails. You can rent bicycles for free (recommend doing that and exploring the nature around). The pool was a nice touch too. But the most amazing is the staff, everyone was super kind and helpful, they helped us with booking trips, renting scooters, they arranged transportation to airport and even gave us snacks for the journey for free. We loved everything about this place 🤍

Location: This homestay is so peaceful to stay at but only a short motorbike to main attractions like trang an river boat tour (5min) or mua cave viewpoint (15min). If you don't mind that commute, I would highly recommend. Social: I really loved this homestay for its social scene. I opted to stay in the private room, but I got to meet so many people in the shared spaces. We all would eat breakfast together. Food: The food was quite good here, probably the best food I had Ninh Binh and Phong Nha. All prepared by the family. Room: My private room was very clean and very spacious. No complaints.

The motorbikes were definitely on the old side, but I had no issues with them.

Trang An River View Homestay is definitely one of the best places we've ever stayed in! The whole area with its pool and garden surrounded by the river and the mountains was so beautiful and calming. The landscape in which the accommodation is located is generally just amazing and the staff was really nice and helpful! You can rent a motorbike there, they organize buses and tours for you and they even gave us some snacks for our busride:) The food is good as well and they offer free breakfast. Would definitly love to come back some day and can recommend it a 100% !

We loved everything about our stay. We have stayed in some luxury hotels on this trip but Riverview homestay has been our favourite. It's not luxury but it's totally charming. Beautiful location, spotlessly clean, extremely helpful staff, delicious food. They did our laundry for a good price and we borrowed bicycles for free to cycle around the area, which was fantastic. We arrived after the night train from Hue and it was easy to get a Grab taxi to the homestay (we actually got a local driver outside the station who matched the Grab price). They arranged our taxi for our onward journey to Cat Ba. The combination of the beautiful location, great staff and just sheer ease and charm of the place made us glad we stayed. We totally recommend this place, it's lovely!

Nothing really - the shower wasn't the greatest but we were still extremely happy there
